    Brake fluid cap left off.

Exceptionally poor experience. I took my car into the Louis Henna location for an issue where I already had a diagnosis and not something I wanted to fix myself. Then I received an unsolicited text to help me pay for unexpected auto repair repairs... They the. attempted to upsell me to get an oem part from them and I literally just got the part (taillight) in from GM the day before and was in the car/ there is a wiring issue in the taillight harness as well and I knew which pins were hi h was why I was there to begin with. The wires/connector needs to be trimmed and re-soldered and or a full pigtail put on. Additional repair items were recommended (many thousands in repairs) including one that was done last month by me with a professional mechanic (done). They did opt to not charge the diagnostic fee. When picking up my car and I literally had to climb through the passenger side because another car was staff parked so closely that my door could not be opened. I drove home and with already three strikes against the shop, I opened my hood just in case - and glad I did. The cap for my brake fluid was also not replaced and was sitting in below the windshield wipers on the air intake- Inexcusable.

I got my oil changed here before and had a pleasant experience so I figured I'd get my inspection done here as well today. Michael P had outstanding customer service while inspecting my vehicle and Micheal C who had helped with my oil change last time, was so polite while checking me out. With COVID going on, they have you stay in your car while they hook it up to inspect it which could be awkward but he was very respectful and had great manners while also communicating what he was doing from beginning to end. It didn't take long at all either, I did wait a little bit but not too long and once again the communication was excellent. This was so refreshing!! I will definitely continue to visit this Jiffy Lube (:

I called this location a while back to see if they had time for me to drive up (10 minutes) to get an inspection. I was told to come on up. Got there and there was a vehicle in front of me. Gentleman came out and explained it would be 30 minutes. I told him thank you and left. This happens. Business's get busy. Decided to drive by today. When I got there, another gentleman came out and let me know it would be about 30 minutes. So I asked why? He told me that they were having problems completing the vehicle in the building in front of me. I told him I understood. I asked if I could go get my grocery pickup from Walmart and come back in 30 minutes? He said yes. I left, pick up groceries, dropped them off at my house and was back 3 minutes early. A different gentleman came out and let me know it would 45 minutes now. I told him I was told that I could come back in 30 minutes. He went in the building and then came back out. Told me that it would be an hour. I have now wasted my fuel and my personal time twice! Never again! This is ridiculous. This place is horrible. Beware!!!

It was impressed on me that these repairs were critical for safety. The person on the phone even made comments about how glad they were that we were safe as the brakes were metal on metal, etc.The written estimate that arrived was much higher and still had these things listed as critical along with a few smaller issues. When I requested an itemized breakdown and compared parts prices to AutoZone retail, I found parts were marked up over 2x retail across the board. When I called to ask about this, prices dropped immediately without any additional information from me. It took them over night to send the original estimate but the new one arrived within minutes of my texting. I ultimately approved only the wheel bearing and lug stud repair and negotiated the price down. The actual safety critical item, one lug nut holding the wheel on, was buried after the full upsell menu was presented. Several items were listed as critical on that quote that they later said were not actually critical. I posted anonymously in a local group asking for honest mechanic recommendations. The owner identified me by my comments, I guess, and referenced my vehicle publicly to signal he knew who I was. I feel as if this might have been an attempt to get me to remove my anonymous post. Multiple other folks in the comments described identical experiences including false "metal on metal" urgency that softened the moment they pushed back. The work was done and we picked up the car this morning. The process to get to that point was frustrating. Since I only see good reviews I wanted to offer another perspective. The staff is very nice and the banter when we came in was fun. But nice is not the same as honest. I would advise anyone using this place to check retail prices of parts. And since they always offer better prices with push back, everyone who deals with them should question their prices. Some labor costs were good and some were listed at the high end for the area but not ridiculously so. The biggest price "padding" was in the parts themselves. The work seems good at this time, if you want to pay extra for parts in order to be treated nice in a fancy waiting room, I suppose it's worth it to pay more for that service but it's a nah from us. Thanks.

He comes in after looking at the car and proceeds to tell the couple who was going to buy my car that the vehicle has some serious issues. One of his major concerns? The wiper on the back window needed to be replaced. He also mentioned that there were problems with the brakes, shocks and that the car would shake uncontrollably when applying the brakes after getting it up to 60 MPH on the highway. The prospective buyer and I took it for a ride after his crazy rant and none of the issues happened that he described, especially the shaking. He also mentioned that the tires (which I had purchased 10 months beforehand) were dangerously low on tread. I smelled a scam from the start and took the car to a mechanic by my house right after I left the "Oil Well". The mechanic there looked it over for 20 minutes and told me he found no issues with the brakes or the tires. He said that the shocks MIGHT need to be replaced in 20 or 30k miles but that all shocks are worn and these were no worse than most cars. I had a feeling that the owner of the Oil Well was trying to come up with an expensive list of issues to get the potential buyers to spend $1500 to fix the car when it wasn't even needed. Thanks to the scam, I now know that there is nothing wrong with my car that you wouldn't normally see on an 8 year old vehicle. If you've ever worried about being ripped off by a mechanic, stay far

From…read moreprevious replacements, I was expecting - no, make that "I was dreading" - the repair costs to be around $450/window. At least that was what I had been charged previously by another mechanic company who was not as gentle as the name of their company would indicate. Frantic for a way to save on the cost, I asked Carl if he could "stake shut" my windows or use cut-cost components. Thankfully, he explained to me that those were probably not the best solutions; used components would likely soon fail, and even to stake shut the windows would cost in labor more than I was hoping to spend. He asked if I could give him time to come up with a quote, and he called me back with a price that was - after tax and a State Inspection - less than half of what I had expected to pay for the work! Not only was the work done inexpensively, it was done well. Instead of the hobo hillbilly fix that I had initially suggested, I have functioning power windows, professionally maintained. The mechanic even gave me tips as to why the windows likely failed and how to keep it from happening in the future. Definitely will return.
