On 14th Oct I had an issue with the tailgate on my Jeep WranglerX. At the SouthBay- Rosecrans location I met with Victor the new guy (1st day), he was exceptional. My car had some minor dings and dents, so I took it in to get them repaired. Met with Jose B. to have the vehicle inspected, he greeted me at 6 feet away (C19) with mask and gloves and gave me a quick brief on what the process was. He did his inspection and in ten minutes, he told me what they would do and how much it's going to cost and how long it would take to complete the job. So I said ok, and ordered Uber for me, and Jose called me regularly to give me updates on the progress and ten days later it was ready for pick up and my look brand new again. Thanks Caliber Collision read more

Happy with my experience. I was referred by my insurance company to fix my broken windshield. I called them they set me up for a house call two days from the call. They arrived when they said, fixed it up quick and easy. read more

Well, they fixed my car but didn't wire the mirror sensors properly. Went back and was told that it would take 30 minutes. It took them over 4 hrs to complete this task. Then they leave someone else's keys in my car. They asked me to bring them back (mind you I live in Long Beach and traffic is horrible). I was promised a gas gift card. It took me an hour to get to them because of traffic and they didn't keep their end of the deal. I rather take my business elsewhere. Never again read more

They have always provided me with exceptional service. I'll keep coming back as long as bad drivers side swipe me while I'm legally parked.

The service was great! David Quintetos was very helpful and empathetic with my feelings you couldn't get a better Service Advisor.

The staff was very helpful. They repaired my car quickly and to my satisfaction. They followed Covid-19 precautions, and worked well with my insurance company as well as with reminding me to set-up my rental service if needed, and ensuring the rental servicer was notified and available at the time I dropped off my vehicle. José was good at providing updates as well, and my car was ready for pick-up at the time he provided. read more

I came here for repair after my car was rear ended. The Staff was super friendly and helpful! They kept me updated on my car every step of the way. Jose was awesome! My car was back to normal and super clean as well since they gave it a wash! read more

They treated me and my vehicle with the utmost care! They renewed the damages and gave a little extra love. They kept me updated ever step of the way and got me back on the road quick, fast and in a hurry as opposed to my last auto body shop. Totally 5 stars! I'd recommend them to all in the Compton, South Central, and Gardena locals! read more

I have a 2017 Jeep Wrangler. I had a dent in bumper. Usually I would take my vehicle to jeep to make all is 100% because"they're Jeep". My insurance company recommended Caliber, only because I wanted the job done now, Ok. Caliber not only did a good job with bumper, but the gave me a detail. (Jeep would not have that). The staff was wonderful. I dealt with Edgar, who was very helpful, went out of his way to make sure I was happy. Will I come back to Caliber, Yes! Do I recommend them, 'highly'. Thank you Caliber. Oh did I forget to say, they guarantee their work for lifetime. That remains to be seen, I will let you know how the work hos up in a couple of months to a year . Now, I can't speak for all Caliber collisions, but I can speak for this one only. 1835 W. Rosecrans ave. Gardena Ca. read more

I came in to get an estimate on my car. Elmer was very kind and helpful. He explained the repair process and helped me schedule my drop off.

Everytime I come here I always receive phenomenal serveice. My car was hit so bad on the passenger side that I was afraid that it would not be restored properly. I took it to Caliber Collison and Jose took great care of my car. He informed me that it would take a week for my car to be fixed, and kept me informed the whole time. The super sweet part was Jose told the recptionist (Who is really kind by the way) to call me an uber to take me to my home! How thoughtful! I swear they always go out of their way. Another great thing Jose did for me was painting my rims. They had been damaged, due to my dog peeing on them constantly. But, Jose went out of his way to paint them for free! To make a long story short, go to Caliber Collison foe trusted service. You cannot go wrong! read more

They're terrible with follow up. I'm really pissed at their service. Long story short, they've repaired my car by replacing the bumper. I was totally happy up to this point, but, almost two months after the new bumper was installed, they haven't finished the job of installing a factory decal on it. Not only did I have to follow up myself even though they promised to follow up with a phone call within 2 weeks (yeah right), but they're also bad at returning calls. Finally I get a call while I was at work, and the representative promises another return call with more details by the end of the day. Was I surprised that she forgot again, just like 2 months ago? Nope. They're great at working with cars, don't get me wrong, but their lack of follow up has been frustrated and disappointing. After I get my stupid sticker installed (which they are still holding onto even though I paid for it upfront), I look forward to never coming back to this location again. read more

Don't know about their repair work, since I didn't get that far in the process. I had to leave after waiting an hour. This was after I had a confirmed 8:30am appointment through both my insurance company and the repair shop's rep. Extremely frustrating! read more

This was my second trip to Caliber. For some reason people like running in to me‍. I returned a second time because they took such great care of me and my car. They strive for 100% satisfaction. This is the best body shop to go to for a guaranteed quality repair. It's repaired in a timely manner and the service is very efficient. No issues and did exactly what was expected. Used texts to communicate daily on the progress of my vehicle. Great experience!

Great service and our car looks fantastic. I highly recommend. Anna, our service advisor was great to deal with. She kept us up to date on the status of our vehicle and was very easy and pleasant to work with. Thank you Caliber for your service! read more

I recently got into an accident & this is my first time ever having to do this whole process of fixing my car. My insurance referred me to this place & to be honest i was so hesitant because i had never heard of this place. The claims lady insisted to come here & i asked my dad about it & he said nothing but good things. So i came here to get a quote. Didnt take long. Very friendly staff i must say. The whole process to fix my car was almost 2 weeks but daim it was worth it! I got texts to update me on how my car was comming along. I recommend this place! My car looks like new! read more

Although, I have known about this place for some time, I finally had the opportunity, well need to utilize their services. More than satisfied! They repaired a rear window and some body work caused by a wayward bullet.... Thank you, Caliber! Most notably, thank you, Anna! Your customer service, professionalism, and attention to the small things are much appreciated, much needed, and much more than I expected to exist in a body/repair shop! I highly recommend this place! read more

Great, friendly and professional service. Clean waiting room with coffee, hot chocolate and popcorn. My car looked great and they washed and cleaned it before I picked it up - was not expecting that! They give 10% off if you have AAA and it is a non-insurance fix. (Unfortunately I did not know this until it was too late). Hopefully won't have to come back! But if something happens, I will be coming here again. read more

4.5 stars. Got rear ended on the freeway :( and needed some panel rework, bumper replacement, and paint job. I've had good experiences at a different Caliber in the past but this location worked better for me on this occasion. They did not disappoint. I'm continue to be impressed with the service at Caliber. My service advisor, Jose Becerra, kept me regularly updated on the status of my car and clearly explained the repairs that needed to be made. Their paint shop did a fantastic job and you can't tell the difference between old and new paint. One small quibble: When I originally made the appointment to take my car in, I made it for a Thursday. However, the Caliber rep did not tell me that they do not generally accept cars on Thursdays and Fridays, so I had to return the next Monday to drop my car off. Other than that, wouldn't hesitate to return here again! read more

Great service and quality work as usual! Thanks Jose! Hopefully I won't be back soon!Lmao!

First off, the address above is wrong. 1835 Rosecrans is actually in Gardena, just west of Western Blvd. Second of all, this place offered great service. To be completely honest, I got so tired of auto body shops jerking me around, trying to renegotiate prices 2x or more, and push due dates by a week. To my surprise, the front desk personnel were cool (make sure you have your insurance info and they'll be even cooler) and the mechanics were great as well. This is the frist place I have been to where even the mechanics had a great customer service relationship. I ended up getting my car back on the exact due date, with the agreed upon bill, and in prestine condition. It sucks getting into a fender bender, but if I had to do it all over again, I'd go to this place without a moment's hesistation. read more

Desiree was amazinggggg!!! The service was so fast and efficient! Definitely recommending this place!!!

The process was quick and easy. They had all the parts that was needed to fix the bumper on my Jeep and because of that it was completed same day; and returned with a fresh wash. I've had body work done at different shops, and Caliber was a pleasant surprise. They have a professional staff,a pleasant waiting room, and their work looks as good as the original. They kept me informed during the repair process, and they actually had my car ready on the estimated ready date. Caliber worked with my insurance company and they made repair process easy. If your car needs body work, give Caliber in Gardena a call. Negatives: I usually have reservations about almost every business that I review, but I give Caliber Collision a rare five star rating. read more

Money, money, money don't come here if you want a caring staff! I got rear ended by some idiot that didn't have enough insurance to pay for my $7,500 bill. My deductible is $800. Keep in mind none of this is my fault! I asked Caliber Collision to let me pay half this week and the other half next week. My insurance has not collected the money from the other insurance company. Caliber Collision said no it was their corporate office policy. I called the corporate office and they said this location lied to me it was up to the individual shop managers. I won't have money for food for a week now and caliber would not help even though they could. Way to go on terrible customer service not to mention selfish, heartless policies. To make it worse this is my disabled sons birthday that they ruined. read more

Caliber Collision - Body Shops Near Me - Gardena, California

getting an estimate was easy. the guy was super helpful and honest about the possible cost. he was there when we picked up and was also super helpful. picking up was a problem. they had called saying the car would be ready by tuesday after 3 but they never called. we called to check on the status around 5 and was kept on hold for a few minutes. then another representative got on the line asked our name and info again, then was kept on hold for 20 more minutes. they said it would be ready in half an hour. when we showed up to pick it up they took 20 more minutes to get us the car without giving any reason for delay. woman at front desk was very pleasent and helpful. was recommended by AAA, maybe they should reevaluate who they recommend. read more

Okay, seriously this is the best auto body shop I've ever been to in my life! It's sad but unfortunately I've been a lot of accidents. Anyway, the service was so professional and courteous. When you first walk in the door, they ask you if you would like a bottle of water. They call you to follow up when they say they will. Last year I was forced to the caliber collision in Hawthorne, my experience was awful! Gardena caliber is different! And they deliver when and what they promise! Ask for Luis Rodriguez! You want him to be assigned to you! If there were a concierge mechanic, he would be it! He should get a raise! Super awesome! Only tip for improvement, please keep your popcorn stand stocked up always! () read more

This place has become a complete joke. This made my third time over the last 4 years of coming to this shop. The first two times were spot on and great. This time has been completely unacceptable from customer service to workmanship. I should have known it had changed from when I called and made an appointment to take my car in for an estimate, and when I showed up, they "forgot to put it in the calendar" and then acted like it was an inconvenience that I was there and expected them to still honor the time slot I was supposed to have. After getting the estimate and pictures taken, I was then told to bring the car back in the following Tuesday so they could begin repair. Surprise! Again, appointment not note on calendar and estimate lost, so they had to come out and examine and photograph the car again, but they went ahead and took the car in that day to begin work. Fast forward a couple of days, and there was ZERO communication. I called several times and left messages with the girls at the front desk, promised returned calls, and noone ever called, texted, or emailed. Finally got ahold of someone, and was told car would be ready Friday, then Saturday, then Monday... and finally, told I could pick it up Tuesday at 5:30 PM. Tuesday, 5:30 PM, I show up at the shop and am told that the car would be brought around in a moment. Half an hour goes by - "Oh we're just finishing up washing it for you". Another hour goes by... finally, around 7:30 PM, my car is brought around. At this point, it is dark outside, so I cannot do a thorough inspection of the car. I get in the car to go home, and it gives a headlight error. I walk back into the shop and they tell me to bring back in the morning and they will fix it (reprogramming needed due to the tracking style headlights). Okay, no problem if that is it. Wednesday morning, I get try to get in to my car, none of the proximity sensors and proximity electronics are working. So now we are down headlights and anything controlled by the keyfob in proximity of the car. I do an inspection of the outside where the repairs were done, there is a spot that looks as if the clear coat is peeling already - What the hell?!?! I get in the car and look, since it is light now - the entire interior of my car is covered in overspray. My red italian/german leather is greyish, black leather dash and windows, all covered in overspray. Wow, this place did a number on my car. I take it back into the shop, and they promise to fix it. What kind of show is this place running? I make them get me a rental car and pay for it. Several days later, they finally let me know I can come pick my car up. Upon inspection it looks to be back to nominal condition. I take the car home. Next day, I have the car parked out in the sun and am able to do better inspection.... well, the dents and scratches they were supposed to fix, at best, they half-assed. Scratches were just painted over, and could still feel (and see) the ripples from the dent, as well as runs in the paint. Here we go again, right back to the shop, back in another rental car. Told initially car should be ready by Friday... it is now Tuesday of the following week. Again, zero communication - I have had to call multiple times, to even get ahold of someone without leaving a message. Saturday, I finally got ahold of the manager, and he said car should be ready by Tuesday evening to pick up. Called Monday, and Today (Tuesday) to try and confirm, so far, both with messages being taken by the receptionist, and apparently all messages going in to a black hole. I can honestly say, this shop has gone down hill, and I do not recommend anyone use it. The service and results have been absolutely unacceptable. I am filing a complaint with my insurance firm for directing me to go there, and going to petition to have them removed from being a prime shop for state farm. At this point, my car has been with them for almost a month, for what should have been a simple fix (having worked in a body shop in a previous life, I can attest to this). If things are not right after this time around, it will be time to get legal involved. read more
