I went to the ENCINITAS location after being hit (while parked) on my passenger side door by a "nice" woman who supposedly left her phone number, when called she denied hitting me. Going to a body repair shop is not my idea of fun in the sun, but this was a pleasant surprise. I backed my car into another car's bumper and did some minor damage to my car. I expected the repair bill to be ridiculous compared to the amount of damage, and I really didn't want to go through my insurance company. Bill Adams was very empathetic and worked with me to solve the problem. The overall experience was very pleasant and I got my car back in a timely manner and it looked as good as new. And when it came time to pay the bill Julie informed me that I could get a 10% discount for belonging to AAA. I didn't even have to ask for it. So the final bill was barely more than my deductible if I had gone through my insurance carrier. Everyone worked hard to please me and I am not used to that in this day and age. Outstanding and ethical! Since when have you heard anyone use those two words to describe a body shop? Allstate sent me to Bradley Allen Autobody with "carte blanche" to complete any repairs required to repair my vehicle after an accident (Allstate's claims adjuster had no data on my vehicle's model from which to estimate repairs on his own). Bradley Allen could have taken Allstate and me to the cleaners -- but they did not. Julie contacted me immediately upon Allstate's referral and connected me with Cliff for an estimate. Cliff determined that the shop could likely repair my car without paint or serious repairs. 1 day later, I was out of the shop with a great looking car for a cost that was less than my deductible: No insurance rate increase! Needless to say, I'm thrilled. I'll visit Bradley Allen Autobody first for any future auto body repairs and I'll very likely try our their auto detail services, soon -- very reasonably priced! read more

I am a former customer, as you can tell from my former review, and I just had them repair some major damage to my 2006 Subaru Legacy. They replaced the rear door and repaired some other items and did an almost perfect job. The average person would never be able to tell it was damaged, repaired and repainted. Perfect paint match. I am so disappointed in Caliber Collision. Their service seemed so promising while they had my car for body work (a hit and run in the parking lot), as they called me daily and kept me up on the repair work they were doing. They sent it to Riverside location to have it worked on though, and when I got my car back, it was dirty and the side mirror was wonky. Every time I look in that mirror, I feel nauseated: it's like looking through someone else's eye glasses. I called several times, brought it in to have them look at it, and no one has ever called me back. Very disappointed! read more

Service was so bad, we never got to the actual estimate or work. Dear Collision Center, it might be good for business to keep "Caliber Caveman" working on cars and away from the phones. I called ahead to reschedule our original appointment, and the guy who answered the phone was oddly non-responsive during our conversation...one or two word grunts a bit like a caveman. So odd. I said "Do you have any openings in the afternoon?" and he would say "ugh..." and then silence for a like a minute. Just when I was about to ask him if he's still there or checking, he says "two" and then more silence. "Did you mean you can see the car at 2pm?" I asked. "Yuh..." says the Caliber caveman. So I think we're good. Leaving work on a busy afternoon to take the car in, I arrive in their cramped car-filled lot, and none of the people standing around outside acknowledge me, so I carefully squeezed in a random spot. The woman at receptionist desk rudely says "You were supposed to be here in the morning." referring to my original time. Not "Hey it looks like there was a mix up.." or "Sorry, but we have you down at blah, blah..." When I explained I rescheduled with a "gentleman" earlier, she literally sighed at me. Ignoring their mix-up, she flatly said I could stay and wait after he's done with a couple folks ahead of me. So I stay for 40 minutes, the service guy finished with the woman ahead of me, then occasionally wanders leisurely past me in & out of an employee-only back room. Looking my way but never acknowledging me. Scheduling an hour to do this I was running out of time as I had another obligation. I was going to ask the receptionist if they would be getting to me soon, but decided they didn't want my business enough, and let her know I would be going elsewhere and left. To cap off my experience, the ever-dull receptionist finally sparks to life hearing that I'm leaving and exclaims sarcastically "you have a WONDERFUL day!" Wow... So maybe they do great work? A lot of other reviews note the bad service and bad communication about the status of their missing cars - that is not surprising. Lots of positive yelp reviews note a receptionist named Julie - too bad she wasn't there yesterday. Now I've got to take another afternoon off from work to get my car looked. Bummer. read more

The quality of their work is great, but service is terrible! I had to call three times before getting an update on my car. Every time I was promised a follow up call with zero follow through by Caliber. I finally got through 2 days later, who said my car would be done in 30 minutes. I arrived 1 hour later and had to sit in the lobby waiting for 20 minutes. I think you can find just as quality of a body shop work with better service elsewhere, to be honest. read more
