Best people ever. Honest and dependable. We've been bringing our cars here for over 30 years, our extended family has also. But recently they went far above and beyond. My window mechanism broke in my fairly new Audi. Audi Carlsbad service dept is absolutely horrendous. (I have a warranty) My car sat there for nearly 48 hours and they were not going to look at it until Friday @ 4pm. So I took an Uber, picked up my car forgoing the warranty coverage... Well, honestly, I went to them by mistake, and boy am I happy! They are the nicest people, have incredible integrity, don't try and upsell, don't over bill, and treat me very very right. I bought a car without a lot of knowledge of it, and they worked on it because, lo and behold, it needed help. I brought it to others a few time bc I had to and they charged a fortune and the work had to be redone. Brads is always reasonable. My car worked every time, and I never had to bring it back for the same issue, except once. Even then, they actually covered the cost of labor because they initially did didn't solve the problem. I eventually sold the car but I always go to them first if I have an issue. Luckily I haven't had that problem. I cannot recommend them highly enough. read more

My 12 year old Toyota Sequoia started blowing hot air. I had it tested locally in Del Mar and they said their was a leak in the front core evaporator and evidence of a possible leak in the rear one. They said they didn't want to fix it Because it was too big of a job. I called toyota service and they wanted 3 k ish to replace it. I called a few shops and brads/harris said they would test it first and if it was the Evap would beat the price substantially. I left my car there and they sniffed it and said there not only was no leak/ but whoever tested it bled all the coolant out. They could have easily just replaced it and no one would have known the difference. There are still honest and ethical people on this planet and now they have a life long customer. Won't be asking about the price in the future with them. WORTH EVERY PENNY. read more

After reading reviews on how honest Brad's was, I took my vehicle to them for a second opinion on an engine leak. A previous shop pointed out that I had an engine leak, and that I had to come back and get it repaired. I caught that shop trying to get me to agree for work that didn't need to be done, so I had to question that engine leak. I took my vehicle to Brad and told him about the leak, but didn't tell him that he was a second opinion. He diagnosed the leak and did say that there is a slight leak, but the leak isn't an issue, especially since the repair would cost at least $1k. I appreciate the honesty, and I will be taking all my vehicles to Brad's from here on out. read more

A couple of weeks ago, I may have given them four stars, they did good mechanical work but left the inside of the car a little dirty, they rectified this by sending a detailing service to my home to detail the car inside and outside of the car which was above and beyond. I've given them one star today due to the poor communication and lack of organisation skills of the front office. I made an appointment last week for this morning to fix a power steering issue, I asked my son to pick me up after dropping off the car and bring me home. As we were almost home I received a phone call from reception stating they were too backed up and wouldn't be able to get to my car today, also they went into a far too long winded detail that there was more needed to be done mechanically, which they could have told me at the time of booking, and stated I would need to get the car and make an appointment for the following week...I wasted my time, my sons time and gas - for nothing. The car remains unfixed and I must now find a reliable and organised mechanic. I will never return to Brads and do not recommend them. The mechanical work seems to be okay and a gentleman who works up front is friendly and helpful, but oh my gosh, the reception, the lack of proper communication and business skills are very unprofessional and unorganised. read more
