Caliber Collision at 204 North Coast Highway in Leucadia CA treated me exceptionally when I went there to have stains removed from my car paint that were caused by a leaky, rusty pipe in my garage. They immediately set to work to polish the affected area and remove the stains, and they refused to take any payment for it! The lack of communication on the day I was supposed to get my car back was awful. Supposed to be at noon... texted at 1- NO RESPONSE. Texted at 2- NO RESPONSE. texted at 3- once again NO RESPONSE. Finally CALLED at 4... almost missed the opportunity to pick up my car for weekend and stuck me with a weekends ADDITIONAL charge on rental car. Luckily I called. I had an insurance related claim for repair. A FedEx driver bumped my car while reversing out of a spot that was NOT for BIG DELIVERY TRUCKS. We are working to get it resolved. In the meanwhile, this Caliber was recommended by my auto insurance. Drop off was easy. Enterprise brought my rental. 9 days later, I was notified that it was ready for pickup. When I picked it up, I met Melissa who was very helpful and courteous. She informed me of Caliber's unmatched lifetime warranty. She really took care of me. Manuel from service also took care of me. They were both very helpful, professional and courteous. I drive my car and it feels stronger than before. My ac was running really weak before because of the vents being so dirty, they repaired my damage, cleaned my car, and cleaned my ac vents!!!! That was WAYYYY more than I expected. I wrote this review in Google Reviews, but it was deleted. I post it here and see what will happen. I am a level 5 google contributor, but I will never trust google reviews again. I went to this Caliber because Geico asked me to go to this place after my car was rare ended. The attached photo was taken from the accident scene, but the license plate was photoshop'ed. It is a big mistake. I dropped off my car in Sept 13th. The service manager looked at my car and told me it should cost about $2000 and be ready in 29th, and he would call me after he took it down and update me with an estimation. However, this phone call never happened. The repair process took four weeks and cost more than double of what I was told, but the service manager has never called me once during the process. Not even after I went there to pick up my car in the 29th but he told me the car was not ready yet. I got very annoyed about the lack of information, so I called him in the last week asking if he could do his job and kept me updated. To my surprise, when I went to pick up my car, I found the service contract says the manager called me twice to get my approval before they worked on my car. THEY LIED! I showed them my phone record, which shows such phone call has never happened. They DID NOT get my approval before they worked on my car as they said on the service contract. I did not know what was going on with my car during the whole time. I picked up my car because I just wanted it done, and Geico will pay for the $5,000 repair cost. However, if you are looking for a place to fix your car using your own money, please think twice before you drive to this place. Ask yourself if you want to let them do whatever on your car and charge you without telling you first, and if you are ready to pay for a bill with a surprising amount. read more

My 2019 4Runner was caught in a sandstorm coming over the Grapevine. All I had to do was call my insurance company get an initial quote, brought it to Caliber and they took care of the rest. My car actually looks better than the day I drove it brand new off the lot! I worked with Ken, he was great. They sent me weekly updates. I took my brand new 2023 Ford F-150 that has a scratch and abrasions on the driver's side panel and Jeremy took amazing care of me. The shipper that brought me the truck from Ford had done the damage and wasn't standing by their transport so I was stuck eating their damage. I took it to Caliber and they usually require an appointment but Jeremy got my right in and buffed out the scratch and the abrasions and it looks brand new. Took my car there for a repair after a minor accident. They emailed me a quote which turned out to be about $1,500 less than the actual cost. Then they sent my car to a different Caliber which still hasn't finished the repairs and it has been weeks. Also, brought another car in for an estimate for scratches on the fender. Never received a quote. When I called they had no record of it even though they took pictures and notes. I totally get people are short staffed and everyone is at home so they are getting their cars fixed. But this place gets credits for being especially non-responsive and unprofessional. read more

John was so helpful and nice. Got an estimate for free and it should come to $515 for the damage to my car. It should be noted that the Toyota dealership in Carlsbad charged me $189 just to look at it and a $3500 estimate to repair it. So glad I brought it to Caliber Collision! read more

A friend referred them to me. It is the Caliber on Coast Hwy in Encinitas. Wish I could give more stars. Esmerelda and Manuel were SO nice, cheerful, helpful and professional. They treated me like their #1 customer and I really appreciated it. My Mercedes-Benz E300 got hit in the left tail light and they replaced it and the bumper. They had my car towed on a flatbed (it was drivable) to their location in Escondido that was more familiar with my kind of auto. Matt was my contact at that location. His communication skills are unmatched. He updated me constantly on the timeline of getting my car back and what was done on each step. He was very respectful and professional. Auto body shops are one of those places you hope you never have to need but when you do I can't recommend these guys highly enough. I've worked with them three times over the past ten years and each experience has been fantastic. Great work and even better communication and customer service. The last time they had my car they not only fixed the rear quarter panel dent (the pole in my garage won again) they also buffed out an area on the hood that had been splattered with some weird goo - at no charge.
