If your insurance company sent you here, do yourself a favor and choose your own repair shop instead. Calling this experience frustrating would be an understatement. They love to talk about a "lifetime guarantee," but in my case those words were meaningless. After keeping my car longer than promised, it was returned unfinished. They couldn't source a matching wheel, so they installed one that only kind of matched--clearly not the same wheel. It was also returned with a missing piece. That alone says everything about their attention to detail. This experience ensured I will never use a Progressive Insurance recommended shop again. When my rental coverage ran out, the service manager also promised to handle the additional rental days, then later reversed that promise. Maybe customers who aren't sent by insurance are treated differently, but if Progressive sent you here, think very carefully before agreeing. read more

The shop was nice enough to give me a ride to the rental place in Escondido. Was given an estimate of 2.5 weeks and was done within 1. Upon pick up the car looked great and was detailed. What a great experience! A power line fell on my car and scratched it up. I was really concerned that I'd need to keep it in the shop for all the repairs. They inspected it and assured me they could buff out the scratches in an hour. Just like that! Excellent service and a fraction of the price of Encinitas Autobody Repair on HWY 101. Someone crashed into me and needed a new taillight. I was told by Encinitas Auto Repair it would cost $1400 because they had to remove the whole bumper to replace the light, so cost was mostly for labor Caliber Collision charged me $125. and did it in 20 minutes! I have unfortunately had to bring my car in due to a collision, someone backed into me. I was glad they could get me in quickly, and Martine once again was very helpful and reassuring, a pleasure to work with . When I later got the news the estimate went up from like 4-5k, to 10k, and the car was being considered by insurance to be a "total" , I was in disbelief & devastated .. I kept asking Martine questions and he answered what he could, was very patient , and professional... on my multiple calls! Today having to clean out and release my now considered salvage car, they were flexible with me in timing and Miguel and Miguel were very friendly and helpful in assisting with jumping battery to open the trunk, carry a heavy item out for me. Etc. It was a Sad hard day for me, but they were wonderful. Yoczi , Receptionist was also kind , helpful and a pleasure. Jeremy was friendly and helpful as well. I am a firm believer that a company's reputation is not built when things go right, but when things go wrong. I was passing through an intersection when someone ran a red light and t-boned me. The accident itself wasn't so bad, but it definitely made a major mark on my new car. I needed some bod I chose Caliber Collision because I know people who have gone there and had a good experience. They finished the work on my car in almost half the time I was expecting. Every staff member was incredible and made the process as easy on me as possible. When I got my car back it looked brand new again. They also washed the car and did a full sanitation of the inside as a Covid pre-caution. While I was in the front office signing my pickup paperwork I ran into an issue with the payment from the insurance company. Instead of watching me struggle to figure it out they immediately called the insurance representative and handled the payment process for me. All of the relevant paperwork for the job was given to me in a nice organized folder and they left me without questions. I was assured all of their work had a lifetime warranty and to contact them any time if there were any issues. A few weeks after I picked up my car I noticed some of the weather stripping was not fully reattached and a small plastic piece of the interior door that was broken during the accident and was never replaced. I called Caliber again and told them about the overlooked section of the door and they had the parts ordered and installed correctly on the car within 24 hours. Again, they were super attentive and handled the issue with ease. I had a great experience on my first visit, but how they handled the issue cemented my opinion that this is an excellent company with excellent customer service. They are obviously dedicated to doing their work perfectly and leaving their customers satisfied. I never expected my car to roll out of the shop looking as perfect as it does. *******CONSUMER BEWARE******** I honestly don't know where to start. Best way to describe the guy who repaired my car is a wolf in sheeps clothing. The aesthetics of the work is good but the quality is pure garbage. Went in for repairs after somebody crashed into my car because this location was approved by the other parties insurance and looked like it had good reviews. The guy in charge seemed to be personable but after having work done I've realized they are incredibly shady. There was an item missing from my car that I know was in there. They definitely took shortcuts in the repairs; the door they "fixed" is a tenth of the weight it originally was. This shop has directly compromised the safety of me and my car especially since it's the driver side door. The cherry on top is my key doesn't work to manually unlock my car since the "repairs" as there is only a key slot on the drivers side. Found that out when my battery in my key died and couldn't unlock my car to get to work. These guys are straight criminals, do your self a favor for you and your families safety; go to literally any other repair shop. There should be an investigation into this location. I'm curious to how many other people this business has taken advantage of. I will be actively telling people to stay away from this business and you should too if you read this review. I thought my car would be in the same or near the same condition as before the accident, which I was not at fault for. Dissatisfied doesn't began to describe the experience I have had. I do not have enough good things to say about the women and men who work at this Caliber Collision location. I was in a small fender-bender at no fault of my own and acquired a quote from Caliber. I had this particular location recommended to me by a friend who works in auto parts. The office staff was extremely helpful and quickly assessed the damages for this as well as a mirror I had knocked off the brackets. They emailed me a quote in short time and I provided this to the insurer who was covering the cost. Caliber is an approved shop for them and within a day I had an appointment to drop off my car. I can tell by the ease I had arranging drop off and pick up through Enterprise that Caliber's team maintains good professional relations with them as well. The team kept me informed of the progress via text and even responded to my texts to answer questions and arrange pick up. Not only were the repairs done fast and well, they also were able to fix the mirror I damaged so I have something to work with until that gets replaced! I work in sales and I know the importance of making a good, personal impression. The act of exchanging a handshake, introducing yourself by name, and giving a business card are essential to instilling trust in a customer. Haidee, Ted, and Esmeralda did these things. There were others who helped me out as well and they were equally personable - I believe one of the guys in the office was training and I could tell he was eager to help out in any way. This place is the best, when it comes to customer services and restoring your car to the original looks. I have taken my car twice to this shop and the service is excellent. Starting with Kirstin at the front desk, she has amazing customer service skills. She makes you feel right at home. They are so professional and accommodating. The manager, Jeremy even allowed me to drop off my car the same day the estimate was performed. It really helped me a lot, because I only had a short window to get my rental and drop off the car. Big thank you to Melissa, Esmeralda, and Michael Galvas. My car was broken into in Mexico, windows smashed, we called Caliber on a holiday, were able to drop off the car, and pick it back up within 24 hours. This is my 2nd or 3rd review, I will not go anywhere else besides Caliber Collision it has been such a fantastic experience every time. Multiple times now I've gone in there upset about the damage and what the cost will be etc, but somehow I leave extremely satisfied every time. Great people great customer service. Highly recommend.
