Great staff and great mechanics who fixed my car! Andy was very helpful throughout the process. I came here to get my rear bumper and trunk fixed and let me tell you they did a fantastic job. I was very surprised by the way they managed to get my car done fixed before the estimated date! Big plus right there. I highly recommend this location for anyone who needs help! read more

I recommend this shop. They do great work and have excellent customer service. The entire process of repairing my car was seamless.

This location gets my very highest recommendation. They did body work and painting on all four fenders of my 2010 Toyota Camry and the work was superb. The car looks brand new. What amazed me more is that they did this flawless work for 40 percent of what the dealership quoted me for less work. Mason was incredible to work with and the women behind the counter were very welcoming and professional. They welcome you and get your paperwork done with great efficiency. They treated our dog like he was the company's best customer even going to the trouble of having a dig treat ready when we came to pick up our car. This was as good an experience you will ever have in auto repair. If the Yelp page allowed it I would give them 10 stars. read more

I had the unfortunate opportunity to need caliber's service again. They performed all of the required work, directly billed my insurance and finished on time. Their service is excellent. Based on my reviews you will know that I am critical of the service industry and working with caliber was a nice change. The warranty gives me peace of mind that I will be happy with their work for as long as I own the car. read more

I haven't written a review in years but my experience at Caliber Collision was so great that I felt I had to do my part and put in a good word. After reckless teenagers t-boned me, I showed up at Caliber concussed and traumatized. My service advisor Miguel immediately put me at ease with his kindness and professionalism. The repair was lengthy but he kept me updated every step of the way and took care of all correspondence with insurance. He even expedited the repairs knowing that I didn't have rental coverage. My car came out far earlier than expected and looking good as new. Miguel and the team at Caliber Collision made sure I was well taken care of at a time when I needed it most! I hope I won't have to go back, but if I ever need any auto body work done I won't go anywhere else. read more

I had my brand new Jeep (purchased new in Sept 2019) repaired there just after Valentine's Day from someone taking my door off as I was parallel parked and about to exit my vehicle. That process went "ok". There was a huge delay with getting my door from the manufacturer...like a month delay. Caliber seemed great at the time, kept me informed, fixed a ding they did just before I went to pick it up...which caused another day delay and another trip back. I was not pleased it took so long but tried to be understanding. I appreciated working with Lindsey. My problem is that my back window was out so I could transport the door. We had a lot of rain, and no one from Caliber suggested I bring the back window to protect my vehicle. I was assured it was being taken care of. Instead, they duct-taped plastic to the back and affixed it onto the delicate plastic side windows, causing damage to the windows. Along with the damage to the windows, my Jeep STANK when I got it back from the sitting water that got inside, and it took a week and a couple trips to the car wash vacuum to dry it out and clean out the smell. I notified them by phone and in person on April 1st of the damage to the windows. April 1st. It is now May 19th. I finally had to call on May 4th for an update as I had heard NOTHING since April 3rd. I have heard nothing at all since. I have been waiting 6 weeks for my windows. My vehicle is new, and I am devastated by the damage. It is a Mopar soft top. There should be a way to order the windows. I am livid I have been left in the dark and that it has taken so long to rectify their bad decision. I feel like I have been forgotten about. I will NOT be using Caliber again and will share my damage story with anyone asking for recommendations. I just want my Jeep fixed. read more

We've used Caliber Collision several times. They are always so helpful, affordable and kind. Today I took my BMW 528 in after someone hit me in a parking lot. There were long black marks the length of my car. Morgon said he may be able to rub it out. He stood in pouring rain for 20 minutes, rubbing all the black streaks out. I hope he gets recognition for this. If you need your car fixed , take it here!!! read more

Julien and his team did a phenomenal job fixing up my car. They kept me up to date via text and phone calls about all the stages of fixing the vehicle. They are perfectionists and do a significantly better job than other body shops, which will cut corners. It was clearly evident that past body work done on my car was subpar comparatively. Other shops had tried a hammering out approach that leaves the body textured with slight dimples. Another had over-sprayed paint that ended up bubbling and producing white spots. That other body shop I mentioned...they are actually next door! Caliber, on the other hand, went out of their way to use top-notch metallic paint to match factory as best as possible. They do more clear coats than even when the car was brand new, giving it a premium look like you find from higher-end manufacturers. The end result was stunning. Sure, it took longer than my initial quote, but they did it right, and that is what matters. Another plus is that they have a great relationship with Enterprise Rental nearby. Enterprise will pick you up at the Caliber office and when you pick up your car when it's ready, you can actually just drop off the rental at Caliber with no fee. Pretty sweet! So no need for Uber. Overall, phenomenally good experience here! read more

I've had to bring my brand new Jeep here twice in about 6 months. Which is unfortunate, but other insurance covered it both times. As soon as I got the word I could schedule repairs I drove straight to Caliber. Both times I dropped it off same day, they took my paperwork and worked out payment with the insurance companies. I had my vehicle back both times within a few business days. I hope I never have to come back, but I'll keep bringing my vehicles here for any body work. read more

After a small accident, I needed body work. So, I contacted my local dealer and they referred me to a shop that was too far away. Then searched online for a local body shop and found several with good overall ratings. Caliber Collision is the one I went with since they had more good reviews and as I found out, my insurance company utilizes them for claims. I'm very pleased with the entire process from start to finish. The staff, Luiz and Yvonne were very professional and pleasant to deal with. I received a solid and fair quote. The work was done professionally and one day early and the vehicle was cleaned inside and out. You can't even tell there was an accident, the workmanship was excellent. This is the body shop for my future body work on my vehicle. read more

Great customer service. Very helpful throughout the entire process. Definitely recommend to everyone I know!

Had an excellent experience working with Luis (one of the Service Repair Managers) on fixing up the body of my Lexus IS 300. He did an excellent job explaining what the process would be to get the job taken care of and laid out clear timelines to finish the job which he did not deviate from. I would highly recommend working with Luis and the team at Caliber. read more

Pretty terrible - we discussed our concerns about the damage to the hood with our service advisor after being rear-ended on the highway and shoved into another car. The service advisor said it was nothing and proceeded with the repairs. A few months later the hood would not close. We called our insurance company and they told us to bring it back to Caliber. Although Caliber fixed it finally, they secretly designated it as another accident claim on the vehicle, so it showed up as TWO ACCIDENTS when we investigated our vehicle history later. Our insurance company did not tell us and we did not discover this until much later, because Caliber Carlsbad did not tell us what they were doing. They were supposed to be fixing damage that they ignored from a single accident, but doubled the claim so they could make more money. They're just dishonest and negligent - go elsewhere! read more

Luis is the best! The bumper extension on my 20 year old Toyota was beginning to come loose, so I dropped by wanting to know if there was a simple way to fix it or if it needed to be replaced. Without an appointment, Luis and team took care of me immediately and came up with a really simple, elegant fix! I really appreciate how Caliber takes care of customers- they are welcoming, positive, and really think about the best way to solve your issue. We have brought our cars here for years and will continue to do so with service like this! read more

We had the best experience with Miguel at Caliber Collision!! We brought in two of our cars and from start to finish the experience was second to none! They were responsive, helpful and incredibly professional. One car we were paying cash for the other was through insurance and both processes were easy and painless. The cars were fixed quickly and look amazing! From bumper repair to hood painting the pricing was reasonable. Miguel truly went above and beyond to make the one car (that we planned on giving our 16year old for her birthday) look amazing and nearly new!!! We would highly recommend Caliber Collision and especially Miguel! read more

My parked car was unfortunately hit by a drunk driver and my insurance allowed me to select Caliber Collision for my repairs. I was of course frustrated that my car had major damage, but I could not have been luckier than to come to Caliber Collision Carlsbad. My insurance was difficult to work with and so hard to get a hold of, but Luis and the team at Caliber were the exact opposite and saved my sanity during the almost month-long repair. Luis made me feel like my car was the only one he was working on and was so communicative, always checking in and taking time to explain the status and what was going to happen next (my insurance company should take lessons from him). They actually ended up completing the work more than a week ahead of schedule. There were still a few small rattles in my car when I came to pick up, but Luis was patient and drove around the block with me to figure out where the rattle was coming from. He was intent on make sure it was fixed perfectly, which it was just a few days later. And Ruth and Lisa at the from desk were so helpful and friendly. Caliber is doing things right. Not just great work, but hiring great people. (Luis, Ruth, Lisa - if I can ever hire you away to work with me, let me know :) ) Thank you to this awesome team for fixing my car, and keeping me from tears during a stressful time! I would absolutely recommend Caliber Collision Carlsbad to anyone and everyone. read more

Well...here I was again. This time rear-ended in our other car. (I feel the need to save my image here and say that both times I've been hit I was either stopped or almost stopped in slow traffic and at a red light and that neither were no where near my fault!) Sigh. So the other guy's insurance is AAA and they sent me here for my initial estimate. I was slightly apprehensive at first about taking the plunge and having the car fixed here but I went for it this time. Both Andrew and Raymond took care of me and were even able to pop out part of the trunk so it would be latched until I could come back to get it fixed. The parts were ordered and I was scheduled to bring the car in the following week for repair. Andrew called me every few days or so to give me an update on how things were going, what process the car was in and when they thought they might be done. I really appreciated being kept in the loop. When it came time to pick up the car there was a dent that either occurred during re-assembly (my opinion) or that they missed and I noticed that the proximity sensor in the trunk wasn't working (along with a power window issue which I wasn't sure if I was imagining or not). I didn't notice these things until a day or so later as we drove the car home and parked it for the day initially. Andrew called to follow up and see how things were (how cool is that?) and I told him well, we actually have a couple of problems. I popped back over the following day to show him and Raymond my concerns. They said they'd have a paint-less dent repair guy get in touch with us to come to our house and see if the car could be fixed that way, and if not they'd take it back, fix it, and re-paint as needed. The guy called within the hour and was scheduled to come out. He was very nice and although he couldn't fix the dent he was sent out to do (it actually ended up looking a bit worse) we paid him to fix a door ding while he was there so all was not lost. I made arrangements to take the car back to Caliber and felt very bad about it but they told me stop apologizing because A) all of their work is guaranteed for the life you own the car and B) they missed it. They set me up with a rental car on their dime and Enterprise came and picked me up. They had the car a few days (plus the weekend) and we just picked it back up Tuesday evening after they called to say it was ready. I'm happy to say the car looks fantastic and they were also able to get the sensor working (and consequently the windows). I definitely trust these guys - and the girls at the front desk are awesome - but I really hope others will come here on my recommendation so that I don't have to come back myself! read more

Unlike the others here, I did not have a favorable experience. It was a disappointment too because I have done work with Caliber before and they have always provided excellent customer service. Ray / Raymond has unfortunately changed my perception about this place. I arrived, he says we're going to walk out to my car. I inform him that I have already had Sarah (who was very nice) look at my car before, and provided him the paperwork. He to my surprise starts to throw me attitude and tells me that he's been doing this for years and that the way it works is I can't drop my car off unless I pay for it. Now this is news to me because this appointment and the payment for it was all supposed to be handled by insurance, AAA. That's why I was there. Something didn't add up and I'm trying to explain that there was a DISCONNECT, and he continues to tell me I'm just flat out wrong. Excuse me? I tell him to STOP and hang on because something is not adding up and I would like to talk to the guy at AAA who set this all up. While I'm on the phone with AAA, he's like, "I didn't say you couldn't drop off your car, I told you you had to pay for it." Well guess what? My adjuster tells me no, I don't have to pay for it and that they would send the payment directly to the shop. I get off the phone only to find Ray has disappeared to call my adjuster -- the one I just got off the phone with -- and he tells him they can't do the work. Instead of admitting a mistake and coming back to face me for it, or to tell me directly they won't do the work maybe bc it's their cheapo policy -- Ray cowardly comes back to me and says -- "Your adjuster is going to call you back" only to tell me just that. Wow. Caliber Collision you have a real winner there. Thanks for wasting my time. read more

I got my car fixed a couple years back in Tustin. Recently I got sideswiped and I requested that if I could get my car fixed again at a caliber collision center. I went back to the Tustin location. They told me that Miguel had transferred to the Carlsbad location. I decided to drive over to the next county Over just for him. The service he provides for his customers is unmatchable. He literally went out of his way to accommodate to me and drop my car off at home for me. The manager Cindy is also extremely helpful and professional. The front desk girl, Yvonne, was so sweet and offered and made me a cup of tea for my throat ache. I always tell my family members to go to Tustin caliber collision to get their cars fixed, but I'll be sending them here. A little out of the way, but so worth it! read more

If I could give zero stars I absolutely would ,but you're not able to so alas I must leave it at 1 star. My vehicle was plowed into on 9/27/19 (I have a 2019 Jetta) When I called VW as I do have a newer vehicle they took it all the way to Tustin. I contacted USAA and they told me Caliber Collision is a USAA Star certified shop so I figured " oh ok sounds good". When my vehicle was taken to this Carlsbad location they informed me a week after already having my vehicle that they would have to transfer it to an "El Cajon" location because they weren't a "Volkswagen certified" collision center. Just as a disclaimer , 2019 Jettas are not special aluminum vehicles therefore they don't require any special care and this Carlsbad Caliber Collision center should have just sent an adjuster to their location. But that's fine I guess. So they send it to "El Cajon" which was actually "National City" because lying to me once wasn't enough. Only to have my car be deemed workable. My last accident was basically a "scrap" compared to the damage I had on my car ( the trunk wouldn't even close) and that "scrap" cost 2400. And my vehicle had 4 airbag bag deployed which is already 3000 alone. So when I received a call from Shannon May, the man who inaccurately assessed the blatant damage on my vehicle, he was rude and expected me to take my deductible and fix a vehicle that I thought was totaled(which it was). I asked him to just send it back to Carlsbad and I'd try to figure something out. To keep this shorter, I ended up contacting the man that previously worked on my vehicle and they saved me from this entire mess. The entire time they had my vehicle it was totaled and I was having to pay for out of pocket rentals because of their incompetence which apparently is my fault so I'm just trying to make sure others don't get screwed over. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLES HERE. They're going to lie to you on multiple occasions. Save your time/money and just go up the street to Tag Collision Center. There they are actually respectful and considerate of every person they work with. read more

Got into a front end crash with my VW Golf, the front is all plastic and i managed to bend up the hood too. Luckily, no engine lights, but a radiator leak. Nathan, a new employee that handled my SafeCo insurance claim, was excellent. He called often, kept me updated, and explain the whole process. He made the entire process painless and i got my car back over a week early. I knew the radiator was leaking but upon first inspection then did not find it since it was a tiny crack. Later, when checking after some repairs were done they did notice the crack and replaced it. They have good quality control. My golf looks really nice and clean. The body work was great and the paint was almost flawless. One small small area in the front wasn't 100% smooth (felt like an orange skin) but only I can tell when i look at it closer than normal. The rest of the work came out great and the guys are really turning their reputation around. Thanks (especially to Nathan) read more

My 2010 Honda CRV was in a collision and sustained serious front and rear end damages. I was sure the car would be a total loss, but it was not.
