I go to Caliber for all my car repairs. When my civic was rear-ended at a red light, I had the car towed directly to Caliber and they appraised it for way more than I thought it was worth since it was completely totaled. They made the whole process SUPER easy and even had Enterprise set me up with a rental car right there at the office. My new car was side swiped on the freeway and Caliber took care of that also. It took a little longer than I thought but I'm glad they took they extra time for the new paint job to dry since it rained for 2 days after I picked it up. Their staff is incredibly friendly and they work super fast and efficient for the amount of work they have coming in and out of there. I'm so happy they are nation wide, because I will always have my car repairs done at Caliber, plus I'm so thankful USAA highly recommends their work as well. read more

I just returned from getting a quote to have my 1996 Rav 4 repainted. A very small car. The guy quoted me $6,000. They charge $65 per hour. Let's say the painting material / misc parts and tax) was worth $1,000 (just for grins). That leaves $5,000. Divide that by $65 and you get 76 hours. Somehow I just can't connect the dots. There is no damage to the body. I just wanted a paint job. Business must be good. read more

Got into an accident. My truck was out in a timely manner. Luis kept me updated throughout the whole process. Got it back sooner than I expected. And I was really impressed with how things turned out. Truck looks even better than it did before the accident, like new. Enjoyed working with Luis, guy loves what he does, and knows what he's doing. Front desk was also very welcoming. Would recommend Luis as an estimator read more

It's never fun to have to take your car into the auto body shop but the people at Caliber Collision make the experience so much brighter! They provide regular updates on your car so you know it's being processed and worked on. They are fast, professional and take your concerns to heart. Perpetua at the front desk knew everything about my car and insurance when I walked in for my appointment, and Juan and Richard took great care of me. Everything about Caliber offers friendly service and makes sure your needs are met. 5 stars!!! read more

Unfortunately I've needed to use Caliber Collision again to replace my bumper & tail light. I returned because my first experience with them was good; again the process was quick, easy, and at a fair cost. Richard Thompson, Juan, and the rest of the CC team did a great job. I was only 1 day w/out my car and I appreciate how quickly they made the repair and the quality was still top notch. read more

I took my car here because it was recommended by my insurance company. I was initially nervous because I love my car neurotically and had read some (not-so-great) reviews here on yelp. After being rear-ended by another driver, I wanted my bumper to be fixed completely and to look brand new. It should be noted that price was not an issue for me since the person who hit me was paying for damages. I worked with Raymond and AAA to fix my Audi. They fixed my car beyond expectation and had it done within three days. Raymond kept me updated constantly on what was happening with my car and when it was expected to be finished. Overall, I could not be happier with the work done. Both parts of my bumper were completely replaced and look 100% beautiful & flawless. I highly recommend Caliber Collisions of Carlsbad. If I ever am in another collision, I will take my car here, HANDS DOWN. The customer service is great and the workmanship looks impeccable. read more

Someone nailed my back end during the SD fires a few weeks ago because he was watching the smoke clouds instead of the stop sign I was stopped at. An adjuster suggested this place and off I went. The overall service is amazing. Raymond, Thanks for Hooking me UP!!! I will be sending everyone here for body work read more

Getting my car fixed after being in accident was made easy by Caliber Collision. The insurance set up my appointment and they were able to get me in fairly quickly. They took care of all the paperwork and even submited a claim on our carseat for us. Our rental car was there waiting for us when we needed it which was a bonus. I received updates by text on the status of my vehicle repair. I received phone calls as well. They were great at communicating with me regarding the repairs on my vehicle. My car looks great just like it used to before getting into an accident. They were great to work with! read more

I had a really good experience with this company. Repaired my car really well, even a few dings that were not part of my accident. Also handled another issue after the repairs quickly for free. The sharks over at VW wanted to charge me $160. read more

I've taken my car to Caliber collision twice now. Both experiences were excellent and far better than my experience at the Toyota collision center. Yes, I know how to drive, but others seem to enjoy hitting me (once I wasn't even in my car!) Simply stated, they quote a decent price and do excellent repairs in a timely fashion. During the repair process they sent me text updates and when I picked my car up they assisted in the return of my rental car. I would use this shop again, but I hope not to need them. read more

Unfortunately, I had to use their services twice in the last few years after getting hit. Every time, I have been extremely pleased with the results. I wouldn't go anywhere else but here. Only I and carfax would know anything happened. Plus a lifetime warranty on their service, just can't beat it. Raul was my advisor and he was fantastic. I was so pleased that I'm bringing in another car for Raul to check out that was not painted well by another company and now needs to be fixed. Thanks Raul and Caliber. read more

My car was damaged in a hit and run accident and needed the bumper replaced. My insurance agency recommended Caliber, but gave me the option of going to my own garage. I decided to go with Caliber. What a great decision, they were great to work with. Luis kept me in the loop the entire time, very professional and helpful. My car looks great, they did a great job. Front desk service was great too. I would highly recommend Caliber if you have issues, they are wonderful, start to finish. read more

I brought my car in for an estimate and repairs. The staff at the front desk were very professional, courteous and took the time to answer my questions and make me feel at ease. Luis inspected my car and walked me through the process of repairs and how long it would take. I received a call a day early from Luis letting me know my car was ready for pickup! The staff at Caliber Collision is outstanding and I would highly recommend giving them the opportunity to earn your business. Thanks again! read more

Luis Cervantes was absolutely amazing. If I could give 10 stars I would. He was extremely helpful, caring and responsive. He truly cared about helping me and making my car (which had significant damage) look brand new and explained everything to me in detail so I felt completely comfortable leaving my car in his hands. He also made sure that he stayed within the budget I could afford and went above and beyond to ensure my car looked amazing. Truly I can't say enough good things about Luis and I have told countless people about him and his work. Thank you Luis! read more

This is my 3rd time at Caliber Collision and each time, they reaffirm why I will always go back. I just wanted to recognize Cindy Matthews, who helped me this past time at Calibar. Cindy went out of her way to help me assess the damage on my car. She was so friendly and helpful. Cindy helped clean the damaged area with a white compound and even offered for me to come back and have the damaged area buffed to further cover the scratches. Thank you Cindy! read more

I opted to bring my truck here for repairs. While the representative was inspecting my truck, I looked over it with him and then identified some of the items that were damaged. I explained that I had to straighten one of the supports out myself because the hood wouldn't stay closed. The representative said that I should not have done that (hello genius, I couldn't drive it home without the hood flying open). He explained that it could appear that I modified the front end. He stated, "usually the plastic grill will break in this type of impact and yours is not broken". That would seem to be something positive however, in this case he made it seem like I was dishonest. I don't appreciate being made out to doing something dishonest. I took my truck to Carlsbad Collision. They took it in without an appointment and were gracious to have my business. read more

I had an excellent experience with Caliber Collision in Carlsbad,CA. I was totally satisfied with the repairs that were completed. The staff paid close attention to insure that every detail was covered. My car was ready when I was told that it would be. Miguel provided me with frequent updates. Miguel actually delivered my car to my home when it was completed and he returned my rental car for me. My car was very clean, inside and out when it was returned to me. read more

I recently hit a curb with my new Sonata and took it to Caliber Collision after my insurance company had me take it there for a repair estimate. I decided to have them do the repair after also taking it to the dealer and getting a good recommendation. Nathan and the entire staff did everything they could to make sure I was happy. There was a delay because they received the wrong part and had the reorder it. Caliber paid for a rental car because of the delay. The most important part is the quality of the repair. My car is black and I am super obsessive about keeping the paint in top shape. Before I would accept the car I insisted in looking at the paint repair in the sun. I pulled the car into a nearby parking lot and looked at two angled to be sure. The only thing I could find was a light swirl mark which will come out when I wax it. The car drives perfectly as well. I went in there expecting to be disappointed, but came out very happy. I've had it back several weeks now and still happy. read more

I brought my car in today to see Luis. I was greeted politely and professionally by Yvonne and she called Luis for me. He came out promptly and did a great job taking care of my concern ! Caliber is lucky to have Yvonne and Luis. Great job by both truly a 5 star experience. Thanks again!!! read more

The work they did was top-notch, but it took them 2 1/2 weeks to complete a $1500 repair. I did appreciate the regular updates via phone and email from Luis, the apologies about the delays, and that Luis came in on a Saturday to ensure the repair was finished up. read more

I had the driver side door smashed on my town car. They repaired it and it looked good. The down side is that there is a ton of wind noise and it sounds like an aluminum baseball bat every time you close it. I took it back two more times and no improvement. It is not like a Lincoln anymore. read more

My car was fixed here and it was an amazing experience start to finish. When we dropped my car off they went through it all with us and gave us an estimate and time frame. I was so excited it was done before it was scheduled to be and I have recommended this place multiple times since!! read more

The absolute best customer service I have dealt with at any type of business EVER! Ad soon as you come in both girls stand up and greet you with a smile and by your name. And on top of excellent repairs (being completed in one day) they even washed my truck and made it look good as news. If I could rate higher then 5 stars I would read more

Caliber Collision - Body Shops Near Me - Carlsbad, California

Caliber collision Carlsbad is TremendouSSS. Mitzy holds it down up front like a champion & couldn't be more sweet & helpful. Nate my service advisor was tip top- he did an A+ job & Manager Dave Carter is steering this ship with a smile on his face- what a fine group of people! They completed my car perfectly, in a reasonable timeframe and handled everything with my insurance company. They even made the rental car situation painless. Flawless Victory Caliber Collision! Thank you for making what could have been a huge bum-out into a positive experience! read more

This is too premature to rate. I only just went in there for an estimate. The people were friendly and seemed competent. BUT they didn't have WIFI for their customers, nor any reading material. So here we are in a really frustrating position to begin with, and they make us even more miserable when they tell us they have WiFi but we're not allowed to use it because it would slow down their Internet access. This puts their customers in an even more sour mood. In the absence of WiFi, you'd think they might have reading material. No such luck. Bad, bad business decision. read more

I experienced excellent customer service from the initial scheduling of the estimate and service, to picking up my car after fairly extensive bodywork. I couldn't be happier with the body work- it was perfectly beautiful! The staff were all very polite, efficient, friendly and professional. Luis went out of his way to fast track the repair so that I would be without my car for one week instead of the estimated two weeks! For that I am extremely relieved and very grateful! Thank you Caliber Collision! read more

Thank you Caliber for the best customer service I've had in a long time. Luiz Cervantes went above and beyond the call of duty. My daughter was so upset when someone backed into her, Luiz made us feel at ease and took care of everything. It was done so fast and the bumper looks brand new. I'm not sure who the person is who actually fixed the bummer, but they have car healing super powers. The paint is perfect!! I would recommend this place in a heart beat. read more

Nearly a year after my unfortunate accident, my husband found himself in the same situation....as the second (non-fault) party in an collision. Damages were not too bad (he drove away from the scene), but the truck needed a new bumper and headlight assembly. Since my visit last year, it seems they now have an Enterprise rep on site. This is great. My husband dropped his car off and they had his rental truck ready as promised. He was in and out of there in a breeze. Nathan handled our claim again and gave us the same professionalism as before. This time, we chose to run the claim trough the other parties insurance (Farmers) instead of ours (USAA). Luckily, this is a preferred shop by both of them because I don't think I would take my car anywhere else. We did get the car a few days later than promised due to damaged parts they kept receiving, but this was no problem, because Nathan kept in contact with me the entire time to manage my expectations. I can't ask for anything more than that. We bought this truck used about a year ago with a busted tailgate (it wouldn't raise or lower). Even though it wasn't related it to the claim, Caliber gave us a very reasonable quote to fix that as well while it was in the shop. I wouldn't hesitate to return to Caliber. read more

We had to return and return to get fixed properly, unqualified for some jobs, cut corners,

Horrible customer service. I brought my Jeep for repair there a week ago and the employees were not helpful whatsoever and I waited there for almost an hour for enterprise to come pick me up after the receptionist said she called them and after an hour of waiting there with my toddler they said that they never actually called and thought I was renting with someone else even though I specifically told the enterprise representative I was using them. Never again will I waste my money or time with this place and I have filed a complaint with my insurance as in my opinion they do not deserve to be considered a preferred provider. read more

Steer clear of this place! After a minor collision which dented the front hood, we decided to repair the car because the air bag light came on (even though it didn't deploy) and that didn't seem good. Our insurance recommended this place. They said it would take a week, but were unbelievably unresponsive by email to get this initial time estimate. (I suspect the car just sat the whole first week which put the whole job way behind.) When it stretched to 10 days, we objected and they agreed to pay for a rental car. Then it stretched to 3 weeks as they said they had tried three hoods that didn't work. But at least they were a lot more responsive since they were now paying for the rental car. Overall, lots of miscommunication, which wasn't helped by a receptionist who essentially said, "I don't know anything. I just answer the phone." A friend told me that "everyone knows that place is terrible." She, who has been rear-ended twice highly recommends Ocean Paint and Body in Oside. Oh, and did I mention it was also very expensive? read more

Just wanted to say that my experience with Nathan and his team at Caliber couldn't of been better. My wife was involved in a hit and run with our kids. This was her first accident ever and Nathan could not of been better with taking her through the process. We initially thought about going with the dealer but after dealing with Nathan I'm thrilled we didn't. We have a Tahoe that only had 5000 miles on it and when we got it back, two weeks ahead of schedule by the way, it was as good as new. Just can't say enough good things about Nathan and his team at a Caliber. They are absolutely phenomenal. read more

Our truck went in for repair after we got rear ended. These guys were top notch right from the first contact over the phone. Reception girls were nice & friendly. Service advisors were thorough & would call & give me updates. I didn't have to deal with money exchange, they worked directly with my insurance. Also they had a rental car available when I dropped mine off which made things so easy. Our truck looks better now than it did going in! Great professional service, I highly recommend! read more

What an incredible experience coming to this body shop. From beginning to end, it was 5 star service. Luis helped us and we couldn't be happier. So far my experience with Caliber Collision has been very impressive. I've been to both the Carlsbad and the San Marcos locations and have been extremely impressed by the front desk staff....I'm talking "5 stars."
