While I wish I hadn't had to make their acquaintance, the team at Caliber Collision did a great job on my van! They were equipped with snacks for the kids and offered a comfortable environment for us to wait for our ride home : ) read more

Caliber repaired body damage to my leased 2014 Honda Accord so that it looks as good as new! I dutifully obtained three estimates and Caliber's was the most reasonable. I was treated with real courtesy and they answered all my questions completely, until I understood all my options and felt comfortable with my decision. They even opened the shop on Saturday to return my car, and made sure the rental car got back to the agency. read more

I'd give more than 5 stars if I could. Everyone at Caliber is awesome, from the lovely girls at the front desk to the mechanics. I called on a Monday, dropped my car off on a Tuesday. They were a preferred provider with my insurance company (Amica) and worked directly with them throughout the entire process. My car was done in less than a week and the work looks great. I was DREADING having to work with an auto body shop but Caliber made my experience wonderful. Thank you! read more

I took my car to caliber collision in Carlsbad after getting hit in a parking lot. The other insurance company was paying for my repairs. The collision shop did an excellent job repairing my bumper, they were very professional, and took their time to be sure the job is done right. A great experience from beginning to end. Thank you especially to Julian for his courteous and professional demeanor. read more

After I received my car, from being repaired, discovered that employees had stolen loose change from ashtray and canned beverages. Along with rifling through my glove box. They had spent the day going through my car, left dome light on, causing it to kill battery, had to reset clock. Very sloppy handling of car. read more

I had a great experience at Caliber Collision! Everyone was a pleasure to work with. Richard kept be updated and was able to answer all of my questions. Louis, Robert and the front office staff were also very kind and helpful. My car looks and operates great after they put it back together and my car is 14 years young! read more

On our way to San Diego, our car was rear ended, and got towed to this Caliber location. Luis Cervantes was the customer service consultant assigned to our car. He kept us informed every step of the way, as our car was being fixed. He was such a nice, funny guy. Great customer service. The two gals behind the reception desk, Francesca and Emily, were also so nice. Robert the center manager, was also very friendly when we spoke with him. Our car turned out great!! The collision specialists did a great job putting our car back together!! We would highly recommend this Caliber Collision location!! read more

My car had a pretty significant collision on the front right corner which included damage to the bumper, headlights, quarter panel, right side doors, right front rim, suspension, and axle to name the main components that were damaged. I was pretty weary at first of bringing my car here after reading some of the reviews, but I also realized that all of the places I looked at had a majority of bad reviews so I relied on Triple A's recommendation (This place). So far I have been impressed with their updates and how they have called me back whenever I wanted an update. The parts from the car company seemed to take longer than expected and the work took awhile to be completed, but I think good things are worth waiting for. I picked my car up this evening and was greeted by Ray and the GM who walked me to my car and helped me look over it. They gave me details of the repairs and let me know that they stand by what they completed and want to make sure that I leave satisfied and stay satisfied. After the initial repair I went to pick up my car (I was eager to get it back) and found a couple of little items I discovered needed to be fixed like a small missing piece from my window molding and the leather in the center had some scratches. They allowed me to take my car and told me they would come pick it up and drop it off for me once they arrived (which they did early the next week). Good customer service, good repair job, and they follow through with what they promise. I will check in months later in regards to any flaws or defects that may arise as other reviewers have indicated, but as of right now I am very satisfied and just happy to have my car back looking good. read more

October 1st is here and Caliber Carlsbad has had my car since August 13th. Still not fixed correctly as of this date. Dave Adams did a great job getting me an upgraded rental and keeping me informed but I saw the car yesterday and it still has defects in the trunk lid , It wasn't even washed. The issue seems to be with the workmanship not the management. read more

I have used Caliber Collision Prior in Poway, when someone hit my car and totaled it. they were really great all the way through the process. This time I got in an accident so I took my car back to them to do the work. They were great and because they are a small location and could not get the job done they towed it for free to the Carlsbad location and Luis has been keeping me updated all the way. When my rental car met the maxed rental coverage, Caliber offered to pay for my rental until the car was completed. Luis even offered to bring the car to me, so I did not have to leave work. This company is the best and the customer service is top notch. Thank you Caliber collision and Luis for all of your hard work on my car and getting me through this. read more

Terrific customer service. Worked directly with our insurance company and car was ultimately totaled. Special thanks to Mason and the receptionist for going above and beyond expectations. read more

Very customer-oriented company! My repairs took a little longer than expected, but the company was extremely communicative throughout the process. Nathan did my estimate and he worked with me closely until everything was complete. I highly recommend this location/company to anyone looking for a body shop. read more

I was referred to Caliber by my Insurance company, not mandatory but recommended. I must say, I was very hesitant due to the questionable reviews I read. However, it was a great experience and I highly recommend them!! I showed up without an appt, after an accident, and met Raymond. He instantly put me at ease and was very thorough in explaining all that had to be done (I was a wreck). Because of some parts that had to be ordered, I knew it was going to be a few weeks. During the time it was there, he called every week with updates about the progress. And, they finished in the time he had estimated. I was especially afraid that the color would be slightly mismatched or that it would be noticeable that it had work done. Nope! It looked great!! Not only that, but he gave me a bottle of touch up paint, too! (now I can get rid of a couple of little door ding marks) The reception from the girls in the front was warm and friendly, everyone there always had a smile on their face, paperwork was not tedious and expedited quickly, and best of all...my car looks amazing, way beyond expectation! I can't say enough great things about this business and its employees. Thank you! read more

After being rear ended, I took my car to Caliber for repairs. I am not only pleased with their final work product, but also blown away by their first rate customer service. My service advisor, Eddy, was phenomenal. He kept me apprised of my car's status throughout the process and was very proactive, super polite and just a good guy. You could tell he took a lot of pride in his work and wanted everything to be right. I hope I don't have another reason to go to Caliber Collisions, but if I do, I wouldn't even consider another repair shop. They were great! read more

The staff was welcoming, helpful and attentive. I got regular updates on my car, and they were dead on when it came to when my car would be finished. The store and bathroom was clean, they offered coffee, and everyone working there seemed happy- along with the other clients. They were also very helpful with my rental, calling Hertz to come get me and they called them again to pick my rental up. Really, really great experience. read more

When did collision repair centers start providing exemplary customer service? I feel Caliber Collision wrote the book on friendly, warm, professional service AND did I mention they also made my 13-year old Civic look new again? Richard, Robert, Randy, Olivia and every tech I encountered here made me feel like a valued customer. I would be proud to work with these people and highly recommend this center ... And customer service is my passion. read more

If you are involved in an accident, I highly recommend Caliber Carlsbad. Every single person with whom I came in contact was exceptionally friendly, helpful and went out of their way to lessen my shock and horror after the crash. The work that was done in my car- and it was extensive- was just amazing. My car looked absolutely like new and every single tiny bit of damage was repaired. But best of all, they kept me updated constantly as to the approximate amount of time needed to complete the repairs, what they were doing, etc. After I had picked up my car, the backup camera was not working properly. They had me bring it right back in and then they rented me a car (and paid for it!) while they fixed the back up camera. Super nice about it and handled it like the pros they are. BTW, Enterprise is right next door, so it couldn't be more convenient. They took a lot of the pain out of the whole experience. They are great! read more

Having work done on your car is never fun. Caliber was helpful, quick, easy, personable, and definitely reliable. They were able to get my car done quicker than the original estimated date which helped get my life back to normal. They did an AMAZING job. I received email updates on the status of my car, very simple, but helpful for my sanity to know I wasn't forgotten. Thank you for doing such a great job! read more

Excellent service. Kept me posted on status of car throughout the process. We did run into some issues because repairs were being done over the holidays, and unable to get one final part. They kept me abreast of the situation. When car was completed it looked great. They even did a terrific job of washing exterior and cleaning the interior. I was so pleased with their work and service that I brought back a second car that was hit in a parking lot shortly afterwards. Recommend to all. read more

One start sounds about right. I ended up taking my car here after a fender bender. Geico referred them to fix my car should have gone to Toyota. Overall the work was done and fixed expected for the fact that they scuffed and scratched my other head light and didn't take ownership or responsibility for the damage. They tried to wet sand it didn't do anything. Talked to Florencio Alcala and the manger David that didn't want to take part of the conversation saying that they didn't do anything wrong. So they fixed the car but left cosmetic damage which is disappointing. read more

Caliber Collision Carlsbad did a fine job last year when my daughter's care was hit in the rear. A year passes .... and the trunk latch mechanism has failed. Took it in and asked about warranty work and they said no problem. They ordered the part yesterday and installed it today in 5 minutes. Everyone from the desk folks to the two gents I worked with (Nathan and Dave) were both friendly and outgoing. Amazing place. If I were younger I would ask to work there :) read more

Melissa was very good to work with. She described the work that needed to be done and provided a good estimate on time needed to complete the job. I would definitely return. Thanks read more

These guys are really as good as it gets. Had a scratch on my hood and was able to buff it out, they stuck to their appointment and the staff was very helpful and nice. Would highly recommend taking your vehicle here. I dealt with a gentleman named Richard, he was awesome. Will definitely refer friends here. Thanks again Caliber! read more

What a seamless and pleasant experience from start to finish! Olivia at reception is warm and friendly, quick to answer questions, and Richard who handled my repairs was knowledgeable and thorough. They kept me updated on the status of my repairs and even finished early. This is the first time I have taken a car in for repairs and had it handed back to me looking better than I brought it in. I can't say enough about what a great experience this was in the midst of an unpleasant event. I would highly recommend bringing your car here for exceptional service and quality work. read more

I took my vehicle in for an insurance repair and they were not very well at communicating progress of repairs. I got a call late afternoon one day to go pick up my vehicle and was told the insurance company might not pay for the next day's rental if I couldn't hurry to pick up that same day. It would've been nice to give me a heads up, as I was at an appointment and had to drive over an hour to get there, no way I could've made it. They also told me they could work on the other out of pocket repair simultaneously, but that was not done.i was verbally quoted one price, but when I finally picked up my vehicle the quote for the out of pocket was written for $800 more!!! And it was never emailed to me. After speaking to Dave the manager about the higher quote and the work not being done at the same time, so now i need to rent a vehicle again, he offered me an insurance discount and dropped the quote (verbally) by $500. We never talked about when to bring it in. I called a while later to speak to him, but he refused to remember the verbal quote he had called me about. I don't trust Nathan the advisor or Dave the manager and would not recommend this place at all. read more

I had an amazing experience! My car was finished and ready for me in practically no time at all. The people that work there, the receptionist Francesca, and Nathan who I have had a pleasure to work with in the past continue to go above and beyond my expectations! I had a series of unfortunate events with my car (3 accidents in 3 weeks, none of which were my fault)...one was a hit and run which Rich discovered as he was doing my estimate. He went out of his way to buff it out and see how bad the damage was. Everyone here was friendly and courteous throughout the whole process. Emily was working the desk when I brought my car in. Rich who did the estimate on my car and kept me in the loop the whole time. Rob who gave me a ride back home was super friendly. So far my car looks brand new and it was a quick and easy process. As nice as my experience was, I hope I never have to come back :) read more

I had to share my recent experience with Caliber Collision in Carlsbad working with Richard, a service advisor. He was excellent at explaining the process. I was able to pick up my car on schedule as promised, and found working with the people there to be very pleasant. My car is back to show room condition; thanks! read more

They went above and beyond!!! Thanks so much to my adviser, Raymond Felix, who made being without my car bearable. He was so nice and very helpful in keeping me updated with the status of my car, returning it within 3 days from the date of my accident! I had a small issue with the door handle and they took care of it instantly upon my return. The door handle was an unrelated issue from my car accident, but they fixed it in a jiff!!!! AAA highly recommended them and I'm glad they did. Top quality car insurance would only refer to the best and I'm glad they did!! Thanks for everything!!!!!!! -Mrs. Moore read more

This is the second time in the past 3 years that (unfortunately) I've had to take my car in due to an accident. They worked with my insurance company and all I had to do was pay my deductible. They were very courteous when dropping off and picking up with snacks, donuts, popcorn, coffee, soda, bottled water, etc available while waiting (if any) in lobby. They kept me updated throughout the process via text messages. I had a battery fail right after picking up car...probably not their fault on body work but i took it back in since it wasn't bad before the accident (guess it hit it's time). They replaced it from the manufacture as I waited no questions asked. When I asked the cost they said we'll take care of it even if insurance doesn't on the bodywork estimate. They definitely went above their "Let us know if we did not exceed your expectations" motto worn by everyone. Great place and people. I would definitely recommend! read more

While driving during the rain on Monday, 4/15, the hood of my 1990 Honda Accord was splashed with some very dirty water that left discolored spots that resisted all efforts to remove them. I called Caliber Collision and made an appointment for this morning and they completely rebuffed the paint on the hood and eliminated the spots. There was no charge for this service. This shop has done outstanding work on my Honda in the past and I highly recommend them. read more

Took my Tacoma in for work here as per reccomendation from my insurance and was pleasantly surprised with it only takin 3 days to repair 4 parts on the left rear fender and reprint over some scratches. Caliber made the extra effort to get OEM parts and get my truck back quickly. Excellent service and excellent work. read more

Returning from a business meeting one evening, I drove up to my 2014 Dodge Challenger to find it 20 feet from where I parked it, hit, hooked and dragged by a 40' yellow school bus. My car was only four months old and I was devastated. Thanks to the good people out at Caliber Collision, my car has returned to me restored and looking like new. Mr. James Chakiris spearheaded the project and went above and beyond what I expected. Customer service is a thing of the past, or so I thought. "Jim" has restored my faith in a company's ability to communicate and execute a professional and personable experience. Jim even replaced a decal that I had on the spoiler! Kudos to this well oiled, fine tuned business and many thanks and much appreciation to Mr. Chakiris. read more

I got rear ended during Friday afternoon rush hour on the 5 Fwy. Since I've never been in a accident, I did not know of a good body shop. My insurance company recommended Caliber, so they made arrangement to tow the car there. Caliber was quick with the quote. Unfortunately my ins company totaled my car. So they did not get the work, but they were really professional and quick making a lousy experience much less painful. I would recommend Caliber to a friend or family member. read more

Impressed with the service and quality, from the cheerful person who answered the phone, Julian, our service coordinator, and everyone who worked on our car. Julian was thorough in the estimate and gave us confidence that the repair would be done correctly. He kept us up to date by phone and email on the progress and hit the target ready date. When we picked up the car it was in better shape and cleaner than when we got it from the dealership. Highly recommend! read more

Caliber Collision is my shop of choice for quality Auto Body repair and outstanding customer service. I am sure that these people repair vehicles just fine but when it comes to trying to get an estimate, they have been terrible. I took my truck in for a dent that was not my fault because you need to get an estimate before you can do anything with insurance. They saw right away but after that I could not get anything done. The person helping me went on vacation and was the only one able to work with my insurance for some reason. They never sent an estimate to my insurance. This may be because I never made an appointment for them to repair the damage which I do not even want to do at this time. It has been months and I am still trying to get them to release my information to USAA. read more

I am giving Caliber Collision - Carlsbad, and manager Dave Carter, 5 stars because of the exceptional treatment I received there. I was in 6 months ago due to a freeway accident that required significant repairs. Recently, the doors on the side of my car where the accident took place started having problems closing properly, and the electrical started to go out. I wasn't sure how Caliber would respond when I came in, since it was half a year later. However, the treated me well! I was given a rental car, and they took full responsibility for correcting the doors and the electrical, as if the accident happened yesterday! The manager, Dave, was exceptionally friendly and understanding through the whole process. When I got my car back, there was a little smudge mark on the side of my car that needed rubbing out, and Dave ran and got the materials and rubbed it out himself! I was impressed that a division of such a large corporation like Caliber could still be so customer oriented. I would recommend Caliber, and manager Dave Carter, to anyone! read more
