The staff here is really nice. I am giving them 5 stars because I've gone here twice for two different accidents and my car comes back looking good as new. I have a pearl white car so color matching can get tricky if you don't know what you're doing. But these guys excel in that category. I have taken my car to the s. Lamar location and wasn't impressed. Had to return my car to have them fix the color blending and to reposition my hood as it was on a little crooked. I am a fan of caliber collision, even their San Antonio location. But avoid the s. Lamar location if you can. The one off 71 by I-35 is the one I recommend. read more

Shady Encounter; Payment for repair was submitted by my insurance company. employee skinner tried to get me to sign a document stating I was responsible for payment of repair. They started playing games the morning of the scheduled appointment. The tried to say I missed my appointment Monday when in fact my appointment was Tuesday. I fired this shop. Do not take your car to this shop. Shady Caliber Collision. read more

They were not helpful and made no attempts to help me understand the process I was going through with my car. Extremely vague estimates ("there might be more damage once we look into the car") and they made no attempt to help me drop my car off at a time that worked well for both parties. They just obviously didn't care. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Ever. They made zero attempts to talk with me and help me with a situation that was out of my control. read more

******Horrible, horrible & horrible!!!!****** I don't normally leave bad reviews, but this was such a bad experience I want other consumers to be educated before working with Caliber Collision. Do not trust the staff that works at this location. I don't know about other Caliber locations, but the manager and service agent both lied to me about service needed or should I say NOT needed on my car. They also performed work that I did not give them permission to do on my vehicle and then said the part was leaking and that I needed to spend an additional $650 to replace it. They lied about a part being part of a package and using that as an excuse as to why the part was so expensive. I confirmed this with Oriley's Auto Part Store and purchased the part myself and it was not part of a kit like they said. So....as you can see there is a pattern of flat out lying to customers just to get their sales up. Buyers beware!!!!!!!! read more

These guys are great. I had my car repaired there and everything turned out fantastic. I even had an issue with my hood that wasn't caused by them and they repaired it for me free of charge. Will only take my vehicles here for body repair from now on. read more

This review is for their location at 11210 S. IH-35, Austin TX 78748. (This location isn't in Yelp.) A locksmith accidentally bent my driver's side door while unlocking my car, and consequently I had an noisy and irritating air leak. Brandon Arismendez, Caliber's Service Advisor, was able to fix it very quickly, was very professional, and courteous. I couldn't be happier. Fantastic service. read more

My service advisor was Manuel Marin and he was just great. He explained what would be done and help me with questions about the repairs. It was nice to step back and have my car taken care of thru the shop and my insurance company. Everyone who I talked with were helpful and answered any questions, old school of service. read more

Needed some collision repairs done to our Ford Flex. Heard good things about Caliber from a few folks whose opinions I value. The folks at Caliber (from front desk, to advisor, to repair persons) were all very courteous, professional and true to their word. Work was performed as stated and completed sooner than expected. Body and paint work were flawless. A very big thank you to everyone at the Ben White location - I would recommend Caliber to anyone who needs collision repairs done. read more

Everyone was exceptionally nice and helpful. THEY EVEN WASHED AND DETAILED MY CAR. Nobody does that?! Thank you!!

The least professional repair shop I have ever had the dissatisfaction of dealing with. After scheduling a drop off appointment a month in advance, taking off of work, and driving 50 miles they told me they needed to reschedule because they were "at capacity." I was not warned about this and even called an hour in advance to make sure everything was still good. Insurance recommended this place and I should have never listened to them. Do not go to Caliber Collision for any repairs, you will regret it. read more

Caliber Collision at this location is one of the worst businesses I've ever dealt with....sent here by the insurance company (Safeco, a Liberty Mutual Company) of the person who ran into me....Safeco was bad enough - I had to spend lots of time getting an estimate done when I was not at fault but that's another review - things went weird from the get go with Brandi who was the service advisor assigned to me.....she had a bad attitude for unknown reasons....then when I later returned for the repair appointment, I was asked to sign a statement saying" I am the person or agent acting on behalf of the person, who is obligated to pay for the repairs of the motor vehicle herein described"....EXCUSE ME?....Safeco was paying and had sent me to this business....I refused to sign this erroneous statement and they said they would not repair my vehicle without it...I called Safeco and they were unable to convince Caliber to waive my signing this statement....I left the office with the assignment form as it had my signature on it for some other clauses that I didn't have a problem with....Brandi runs out to the parking lot after me saying that I can't take that document and almost tries to stand in front of my vehicle to keep me from driving off....I called Safeco and asked them to refer me to a different shop in their network and they sent me to Service King which was night/day different and a great experience... read more

On 11/13/17 I took my 2015 Subaru Outback to Caliber Collision (CC) at 601 E Ben White Blvd, Austin, TX 78704, designated to me by my auto insurance, Farmers. I was paying for a rental car out of pocket with Enterprise, who has a desk inside of the CC office. I was told my car would be done on Friday 11/17/17 at the latest. I was regularly updated with a text of the progress and Thursday 11/16/17 was notified that it would be ready late Friday. Thursday, I called to speaking with Caliber Collision to confirm. Everything was fine and matched up. Anamaria Lopez, my designated rep from CC called Friday 11/17/17 to explained to me, they had an issue. CC ordered used parts for the driver side mirror and on Friday 11/17/17 she told me they could not locate the used part and they would have to order one from Subaru direct. She also explained parts are on back order for an unknown amount of days. She informed me that I could pick up our car Monday now and that when the part came in we could bring it back in and they could fix the side mirror at that time. Because Caliber Collision messed up, I have to rent the car for an additional 3-4 days to get our car back unfinished. It would be an extra 7 days if they were to keep it until it is complete. I explained to her my issue is, I am paying for a rental car out of pocket, and she said she would talk to her manager and call me back. Anamaria Lopez called me back and agreed that CC would cover the additional days and I could pick it up finished on 11/24/17. I got a text 11/21/17 that my car would be done early on 11/22/17 and that I could pick it up before they close. I called to verify with Anamaria, and she told me she would not be there but Eric would be and would handle everything for me, she would let him know the details. I picked my car up on 11/22/17 at 5:48. At that time I asked what to do about the rental and CC said the Enterprise rep had already left for the day and they would handle everything on the next business day. Over the next business day I noticed I had a pending charge on my Credit card for the full time of the rental. I went into the CC shop and spoke to the Enterprise rep at the office and explained the story. The rep said they would get back to me. I have called several times and spoke to Anamaria on the phone who told me profusely she was sorry for the inconvenience and that they were working with Enterprise to reopen the ticket and get me refunded. Today 12/20/17 had had enough excuses and went into their office. Eric who is the manager came out and explained to me they were not paying for the rental car because Anamaria had made a deal with me if I gave them 10's on the survey that was coming out then they would cover the rental car. Since I reviewed them accurately and not all 10's they will now not pay for it. This was a shock to me and the first time I had been told this. This is after I had several phone calls with Anamaria stating they were very sorry and were trying to work on it with Enterprise. She also stated she was sending an email to Enterprise's manager to reopen the ticket so they could cover the difference. After two weeks of stringing me out I showed up at the office to talk in person to Anamaria. She came out with Eric the manager who told me they were not going to pay it now. I tried to go to Enterprise because when I noticed the charge on my card was pending I called them and told them CC was covering part of it and they said they would get back to me. They did not and their office is "working on it" and will get back to me. Farmers tried to find out what happened and just retold the story to me stating CC pretty much said the same story and now chooses not to follow through with what they said. read more

We just picked up our Honda Accord yesterday evening. The team did an outstanding job!!! The entire experience has been top-notch. The front end of our car now looks brand new right off the show room floor. Kudos to Tom, Cheryl, the body shop tech and the paint room tech. Thank you all for a job well done. read more

Incredible service and workmanship. Erik was knowledgeable, personable, friendly and everything an individual who works with the public should be. Our Colorado was rear ended and the number was crumpled and the tail gate of our truck pretty beat up. These guys did such awesome work that one would never know that anything happened by looking at it. They matched the paint and made it look brand new. Even though I told them not to worry about it, and actually apologized for the dog hair in the back seat of the cab, these guys detail our truck; inside and out. And detailed is an understatement. Months of dog slobber on the back window where our girl hangs her head out and looks at traffic, clean. Dog hair, gone. The fine powdery dust that coats everything in Texas, gone. Windows, spotless. Floorboards, like new. And more than that, they worked with us. When I called an set up the repair, the insurance company wanted us to drop the truck off on Monday. They called me back within an hour and let me know that one of the parts wouldn't be there until Tuesday so there was no point dropping it off a day early. And an Enterprise rental agent inside the repair shop. Talk about trying to make this as smooth and painless a process as possible. I know they are a chain, but that is not all bad. The fact that the repair has a lifetime warranty and there are locations coast to coast is a positive. This location and it's staff are amazing. I recommend them highly. read more

The folks working there were nice but there seemed to be a lot of confusion and miscoordination in the shop. In processing my claim, they didn't contact me at all about existing damage they found, and when they went ahead with the approved repairs, the front of my car looked worse than when I dropped it off! Plus, my car was returned to me with no working turn signals. Should have taken my money elsewhere. read more

My car looks as good as new after having my hood fly and hit my windshield on the highway. They were on time and kept me updated every step of the way. They also took care of everything with my insurance company. I will definitely use them for repairs in the future. read more

I am totally impressed with the service, friendly attitude, and everything else about this place of business. This is the second time I have had the pleasure of doing business with Caliber Collision, once in Cedar Park, and now at 601 E Ben White in Austin. Great people. I can't praise them enough. They bend over backwards to help the customer. read more

I had to do collision repair on my Volkswagen, which if you own a German car then you know it can be tricky and expensive to do repairs. I initially took my car to Ellis & Salazar to do the repair and had horrible experiences. Caliber Collision took my case and repaired my car after Ellis & Salazar didn't fix the problem correctly. They were really polite, helpful, and timely. Damon was my repairman, and he made sure to call me personally to talk about my car. read more

Though this place is always busy and have a slight issue with communication (between them and insurance; as well as between them and enterprise), they had my car done WAY faster than I expected and did a great job. I expected them to be working on my car for a couple of weeks because they had to order all new parts (since it is a new car) but they had it done in less than a week. I suggest asking clear questions and I also suggest making sure that everything is communicated clearly to them, your insurance and enterprise to avoid any issues. The only other con I have is that when I picked up my car no one offered to look it over with me to make sure it was done to my satisfaction it was kind of just like "here's your key see you later" kind of thing which I thought was odd. I would prefer if they would have done a quick walk around to show me that all issues had been resolved on my car before I left. read more
