He estimated length of time he needed to keep the car (to order, receive & install parts & paint) I dropped off my car the next Monday morning & picked it up Thurs. Paint matches WELL. I stopped by U First today with no appointment just to see if they had a minute to look at a pretty large scuff on my bumper. Rod said pull up, and 5 minutes and a little light buffing and the mark was gone! They wouldn't take any money for it, so I tipped the guy who did the work. Just wow, they sure earned my business today! I'll be back for the paint job needed on the front bumper and hood- just damage from small rocks you can't help but get. This place deserves more than 5 stars. I ran into my garage door and a tree trunk in the road - separate incidents. Rod and his team replaced front bumper, passenger side mirror, and fixed the big scratch on the tailgate. My car looks perfect. Rod sat down and spoke to me while he put together the estimate and talked me through it. Every interaction was respectful, considerate, and prompt in getting back to me. Look, I've been coming to U First for so long, the owner and I are on a first name basis, at this point. The shop keeps growing and getting better, and I keep coming in to get things done. I've referred friends and neighbors who also have had nothing but wonderful things to say about the fellas over at U First. Now, to make things even MORE amazing (as if this could happen - but it HAS!), they now have an onsite mechanic AND can do alignment onsite. Most auto body places either don't even reccomend that you get your alignment checked after an accident, or have to send it offsite to have it done. *trust me, you need your alignment checked and most likely done after a wreck! Now, not only are about able to repair your auto's outside, but take care of the inside, as well! There isn't a more honest man out there or a better shop around. I am more than pleased after taking my car for some pretty serious damage to the front of my truck after being in an accident. The hood need to be replaced as well as entire front bumper. Though my truck was drivable, I knew I had to get it repaired. After searching different places and getting different quotes, I knew after getting a look and quote from them, I didn't have to look anywhere else. I was extremely lucky to have found U First. First based on reviews and secondly, the owner, Carlos and his crew, were wonderful and easy to talk to, as well as wonderful to work with. Anytime I called, I always had the opportunity to talk with Carlos, asking him plenty of questions that he answered without hesitation. He provided a breakdown of everything. He printed costs of all parts and labor. My truck looks amazing, and because I was afraid to wash due to the hood exposing some of the mechanical area, I thought it would be best not to wash, so, after them repairing it all for me, they ended up washing it for me as a nice surprise. After someone side swiped my car I got estimates for around $4,800 from multiple auto body shops. U First quoted me $3,000 and I jumped on that price. This included the side swipe on the right side doors, a scraped fender flair, and considerable damage on the left side. The repair took less than a week and it is incredible! Big fat thumbs up to Carlos at U First! I called him initially to get a quote, and ask if he could install a new bumper if I brought one in. When I called, I told him upfront I was not ready to start the work for another few months. He told me that wasn't a problem, and proceeded to ask me what I was paying for the bumper to see if he could secure me a better deal. Indeed he did!
