Today the lady manning the front desk went "above and beyond" with her outstanding service. I went to Epps as a gentleman had brushed against my vehicle on the 71, during homebound commute traffic the day before. I went to Epps, seeking a replacement chrome strip, on a running board. When she examined my vehicle, she also sized up paint staining from the vehicle brush up, and asked me if I had a few minutes. She then returned with a rag and container of paint thinner, which effectively removed most of the paint stains. For the persistent yellowed area where the tire had apparently "burned" the paint a bit, she came back with a gentleman armed with buffing compound and a hand tool which quickly knocked that more stubborn stain, 100% fixed. While the detailer I'd just visited (I'll do that Owner a favor by not naming his company), had just quoted me for 3 hours of labor at $95 hourly, Epps provided their perhaps 10-15 minute work at no cost. Wonderful lady, Good People at Epps !! The 1st time I visited Epps was for door bumpers that had the adhesive failing, GMC Dealer in Bee Cave had a cost that was very high, and this same lady at Epps covered my need in a very efficient manner, at a quite reasonable cost. I cannot say enough good things about this kind and thoughtful lady at Epps, along with the other Good People at Epps. I am late writing this highly-earned praise for Epps. I had the honor to work with Wayne Epps when his shop was referred to me for minor bodywork 14 years ago. The factory clear coat was peeling off the rear spoiler of my ten-year-old car at the time. He restored it to better than new for a very reasonable price. I had an unfortunate parking lot hit-and-run and luckily I ran into Epps body shop and paint. 1st as I entered I was greeted very friendly staff and indeed comfort me she on the fact that my car will be A-OK. They took my car in immediately and in a few days it was ready to be picked up it looked amazing the paint is the original Porsche paint and not a cheap paint like the body shops use. I really want everyone to know that not only did I take my Porsche here I also brought in my Mercedes as well only 2 days for my Mercedes to have a brand new bumper. No I hardly ever get any tickets but the Mercedes other shop doesn't warranty there work so my insurance opened up the case file and had permission to bring it to a body shop I preferred. They both look amazing seriously you cannot fail here. I graciously appreciated the kind gesture because my insurance did not send me the check in time so they help me out with that and the check was mailed to them instead which was better for me. I am so grateful to have found a perfect body shop and the job is amazing beautiful everything looked perfect Will I bring my car back you ask of course no one can fail here. It nice to get a quote from someone and they follow through with it. I had a small paint job on my side mirror but they treated me like I painted my whole car. Matched the paint perfectly, no over stray, did the job right and on time. I had an important meeting after picking my car up and needed my car to transport. I have used Epps probably 6 times now. I have referred two people to them that have used them. Every single one of these instances has been perfect. My friends still tell me they love the referral. Living in the one of the worst places (I have lived) to own a nice car, Lakeway, TX, I have been hit twice, broken into once ($11,000 damage), had the underside of a Volvo scraped due to a steep incline, hailed on once and door dinged countless times. Epps has fixed my cars time and again. The most recent time they fixed my Lexus which got T-boned from a clueless and careless driver not watching the road. The accident left some damage that they didn't find initially. Epps went the extra mile by redoing it until it was absolutely perfect. A buddy of mine owns an auto repair shop in Ohio where Bentley and Rolls Royce send their automobiles to be fixed in the USA. I learned from him how to spot excellent bodywork and paint work. I can tell you this, Epps is the only place I would take my car in all of Texas after seeing their work firsthand. It rivals my friends shop. There is no doubt Epps' group stands behind their work, is proud of what they do, and yields amazing work combining it with the best customer service. The people are super friendly and Ian is probably one of the nicest straight forward guys one could have an instance to do business with. I have never had an insurance company tell me Epps is on their "approved list" (been through three insurance companies) so that is another reason I use them. It seems as though the "approved list" is often full of companies that do lesser work on the cheap without really standing behind it. The last three insurance companies gave me contact info of other companies but I told them I was using Epps. The insurance companies have to honor your request and you should fight them for that. If you are on the fence thinking about where to take your car, don't even second guess it. These are the pros. Go there and be done with it. read more

To some that's going to sound weird, but as a woman most shops don't seem to take us seriously and usually try take advantage of the situation. I'm talking to you "flux capacitor" guy! Epps Body and paint as well as Lawson's Automotive both far exceed expectations. My family has been using these two shops for a long time now and it's completely understandable why, because they treat us like family (shout out to all the Lewis Fam!). Wow wow wow! I 'kissed' an iron gate and twice and put a few scars on my beloved Chevy Silverado 1500 LTZ Z71 - didn't look pretty. Just brought my car into Epps body & paint for what I feared would be an expensive repair. I managed to get my bumper hung up on a piece of metal in a parking lot and it pulled the front bumper assembly off. When I called this morning, Rita was very nice on the phone and said that they could take a look at it right away. They did. Ian looked at the car right away to give me an estimate and offered to have the tech fix it while I waited. It took less than 15 minutes to get the job done! Avoid this body shop, especially the manager. He acts like a small spoiled child. We took a car to them and got it back with the automatic doors and trunk not working. I tried to discuss the problem with him and he stormed off shouting that we should "just leave it and he will tell us how much it will cost to fix it." The problem is that it all worked when we left it. Things happen, especially when repairing cars, but you should always be able to have an adult discussion about the options. My advice, avoid this place and this guy. Find an adult to deal with. read more

I just had a great experience taking my car to Epps. I have a Mercedes GLK 350 that I hyperextended the liftgate of on my garage door. Ouch! My wife and I were very impressed with the professionalism of the staff at Epps Body and Paint! We dropped off our vehicle to them on a Monday and they said they would try to have it to me before the weekend. I received a call on Wednesday that everything was on schedule. They called me again on Friday afternoon to let me know our vehicle was ready. Because I couldn't make it in on Friday, Ian came in on Saturday so I could pick up my vehicle.
