This spot has a lovely atmosphere with a wide selection to choose from including bowls, wraps, pizzas, and egg combos for brunch. They have many vegan options and various substitutes available for many of the dishes on the menu. I ordered the Power Avocado Sandwich on the Brunch menu, and I got the perfect amount of each ingredient in my dish. Because the restaurant is such a hit in town, the wait time tends to be a little longer, so plan some extra time for your meal. The service is great, and I will definitely be back here! read more

Nice little gem in brandon! Came here on recommendation and it sure didn't disappoint! Once inside, there is an option to take out or to dine in. If you dine in, they bring the food to you after you order and pay, which is nice from a quick service. Their menu consists of pressed wraps, pizzas, and the build your own bowl. I got the coconut and lime rice with the hot and crunchy tuna. The tuna is seared rare and i asked for their lime vinaigrette on the side. YUM! Simple and delicious. We stopped in here on our way home from an event I just worked. We aren't super familiar with the area so my fiancé looked up places to get the Impossible Burger. They didn't have it. This is their only location that doesn't currently carry the "burger" we were a little disappointed but hungry so we stayed. Ian was our server he was friendly and service was quick and nice. We both just got the Ciccio Pizza. It was good! Just not entirely what we were in the mood for. I can see why this place has good reviews. The bright decor and lights make it a fun environment to be in. Every staff member we met too was super nice. This place seems like a much needed thing for the area. One of my favorite spots. I recently moved to Seffner and was kind of sad because I love all of Ciccio's restaurants, but then discovered this Cali! Yesss! My go-to is the Hot and Crunchy Tuna Bowl, of course. If I'm wanting something lighter I'll have it on top of mixed greens instead of rice and no matter what, the tuna is always fresh and not fishy and I can even eat the leftovers the next day and it's still good. The pizza also needs a mention. I have a dairy sensitivity and therefore I miss eating pizza so much. The Amalfi pizza with almond ricotta is SO close to regular cheese, it's insane! Normally vegan cheese is super subpar, but not this one. You seriously can't tell the difference and the veggies on top are a nice touch. The crust is also so good. It is a bit pricey, but honestly worth it to be able to eat pizza. I also appreciate the order online and pick up feature. It seems like they have a well-oiled machine and the orders come out pretty quickly. Highly recommend this place! read more

Tried this place with my friend on Sunday Brunch. This was my first time eating here. Let me tell you the food is awesome!! I had the hot and crunchy ahi tuna bowl with noodles by suggestion from our server Summer who was the nicest young lady. She waited on us and service was impeccable Plus she gave me a free cookie as this was my first visit. I was visiting my friend in Tampa as I'm from Houston but I would have loved to have this again for dinner tonight. This is a great places to eat in the seafood was so fresh and food full of flavor. Nice little lunch spot. You can tell the ingredients are tasteful and fresh. I had the soo...buff bowl and the sauce was not as tangy as most places which was a pleasant surprise. Good restaurants that are NOT chains are VERY limited in Brandon, so I was happy to remember that there was a Ciccio's nearby. Ciccio is one of my favorite haunts in South Tampa. They make ordering your food thoughtless and efficient. Despite my restraint from ordering an adult beverage, the Champagne Slamgria was calling my name. It was just as good as I remembered. I ordered a Big Tuna Bowl. The portion was huge and filled with tuna, kale, and other various goodness. My dinner companion ordered the Fajita Bowl which was tasty, as well. Our server Chelsea was attentive, efficient, and very friendly and just added to a great dining experience. Stop by Ciccio's if you want some great food and to support our local economy. read more

I've been to this location several times, and normally the service is quick and the food is good. However, I visited this afternoon and had an incredibly poor experience. I placed an online order, and when I arrived at the restaurant the food wasn't ready. Not a big deal, I don't mind waiting a few minutes. After ten mins, I asked the girl at the counter how much longer it would be because I was in a rush, and she said it was coming up but seemed annoyed that I asked?? Ok, once again not a huge deal. Finally got my food about 15 mins late. The only reason I'm taking the time to write this review is because I got home I found that my Cali steak wrap had no steak in it! I've heard great things about Ciccio Cali after visiting one of their other restaurants. I came with some colleagues after work and it wasn't too busy but before we left the dinner crowd was starting to pick up. I ordered the pepperoni and mushroom pizza while others ordered bowls, which is what I should have done. The pizza was good but nothing spectacular. It was on a thin crust that was a little softer towards the center. I should have asked for it to be on the crispier side. My friend ordered the fiesta bowl and loved it and it looked amazing. The specialty sodas on tap are worth a try and they had some interesting flavors. This was a casual spot that worked for groups of families and friends! We get the Mexican bowls when we eat here. Most of the time they are very good. Sometimes when we get them the chicken doesn't taste very fresh or most of the chicken is just breading. But it doesn't happen often enough to ban the place. Just would like to see more consistency with the crispy chicken. The hot honey pizza is also very good. I enjoyed the carrot and mango flavor incorporated with the peanut based Thai sauce. It's very loud inside the restaurant, so not a great place for a relaxing meal, I left with a headache from the noise. I'll be back, but it'll be to eat outside or to go. Used to love Ciccio's, it was our go to place at least once a week. The food was great until recently. I have tried to order my favorite Lean & Clean Bowl with seared tuna for both lunch and dinner (as it is on BOTH their menus) on 3 separate occasions, including today, and every single time I'm told either "we don't serve tuna for lunch" -- well it's on ur lunch menu and I have gotten before for lunch or "we don't have tuna tonight " One night I did sub it for chicken and it was horrible. So disappointed in this place. If you don't serve it or can't reliably keep it in stock then take it off your menu. I'm done with Ciccio's. I figured out how to recreate this bowl at home perfectly WITH seared tuna every time, don't need you all anymore. As long as you don't come to Ciccio's expecting an item on their menu and u r flexible with what u want, then ya, it's okay. read more

For a long time Ciccio Cali was essentially the only affordable healthy style restaurant in the Brandon area, for those reasons we used to eat here several times a month, but there was a series of recent updates that changed my opinion about the food and value. A bit over a month ago this restaurant transformed the menu, they did not update or enhance the menu, rather they took the Gordon Ramsey approach and cut down the number of menu items considerably. Gone are the tacos, many of the bowls, and the daily specials. They kept some of the pizzas and a few favorites (Spicy Brazilian), but most of the bowls now offer protein as an up-charge. Last Sunday night they were out of avocado and out the ingredients to make the gigante bowl. The brown rice was cold in my bowl and the portion of chicken was considerably less than before the changes were made. I am not sure why management made this restaurant worse, but the new restaurant concept needs work. read more

This was my second time going ever going to Ciccio Cali, however it was my first experience at this location. I had been to the Ciccio Cali in New Tampa for lunch about 5 months prior. I arrived for dinner with two of my other friends. I was quite surprised to see the dinner menu at this location was not as extensive as the lunch menu at the Ciccio in Tampa Palms. With only about half the options in bowls, I decided to stick to the Thai bowl with yellow rice because I knew I had enjoyed that option previously. My two other friends ordered the Big Italy bowl and Hot and Crunchy Tuna which they both enjoyed. The Thai bowl is a classic. The crispy wontons and mango add to the crunchy texture of the dish. I was recommended to try the bowl with the noodles next time but I ordered the yellow rice, which still tasted excellent. The Thai bowl comes with a side of sweet chili sauce which isn't spicy at all and adds tons of flavor to the vegetables and chicken of the dish. All in all I enjoyed this meal, I just wish it was the same menu as the lunch menu in the Tampa Palms area. I was looking forward to trying a new bowl but with the limited options, I felt it was safest for me to just stick to the Thai bowl. read more
