Not fancy or a scene, but clean and unique cenote/beach combo. Great chair service from restaurant with delicious food and refreshments. Clean bathrooms, loungers, umbrella, and service included $300 pesos per person. You can rent a towel for an additional fee.

The concierge service was helpful they were able to call restaurant and cabs for us. The location of Mi Amor was also great, not that far from tulum ruins. We were also able to walk to the beach within 5 minutes. Food and service were excellent. We ate breakfast basically every morning at the hotel and we enjoyed everything from the pancakes, granola, oat, avocado toast, teas, and coffees. For lunch and dinner we ate at Mezzanine, casa Maria, and also went outside of the national park down by the hotel zone. The massage was great, we booked ahead of time for the couples massage and really liked it. Overall, we had an amazing experience at Mi Amor, we felt safe and enjoyed our time there.

The concierge is wonderful and attention to detail too notch ... for example, every night, you'll find a complimentary thermos w/ sleepy time tea and truffles in your room, alongside a love note. Enjoy the breakfast (and entire menu!) here as the food is best of all of tulum.

It's like a 5-10 minute walk downtown but downtown is pretty loud. This was close enough but just far away to be calm. ***ATMOSPHERE*** The inside is insane! It really feels like a 5 star resort. There are saunas, hot tubs, cold tubs, a zero entry beach-like pool that curves around surrounded by plants. There is a huge space downstairs that is covered and has a kitchen area, seating and hanging chairs. They have a pool on the roof and other amenities. The inside is so nicely decorated and the stairwells have an opening to outside and it's overall just super nice. Inside of the rooms is amazing! We were 3 in a 6 person suite so we paid like 28 USD each per night but had we been 6, the price would have been 14 USD a night per person over a holiday weekend! The room included keypad entry with code, then you open the front door to two more doors directly. One led to a bedroom with full bath and fridge and everything, the other led to a living room with pull out couch, with dining table, couch, full kitchen, a balcony with a private hot tub, bikes, and a half bath, and then off of that room there was a big bedroom with full bath. ***STAFF*** The staff was friendly and they helped us get in right away and everything was very smooth and instructions were simple. ***CONCLUSION*** Will definitely be back next time I'm in Tulum!

The…read morehotel is nestled in a construction zone and makes it sort of difficult to find as the entrance is now only an exit and cannot find on google maps. We were able to put the entrance of the archeological zone in the gps and go through that way. Once we found it once we were able to easily go in and out. We had a car rental which I highly recommend. As soon as we got to the hotel we were warmly greeted and checked in. We got much needed welcome drinks and shown to our hut. We loved our little hut, we had three of us comfortably in the two double bed hut. The AC is only from 6pm to 9am but can text the staff on what's app to turn on outside of that window. The AC was very cooling at night but wasn't much of a benefit while getting ready around 5pm. We were there in May 2023 and ended up putting our hair up and wearing minimal makeup. The hotel itself didn't have a ton going on since it was low season but we didn't mind, it was nice and quiet most of the time. The beach front restaurant was a great first night meal. We ordered the whole fish that was flavorful but full of bones. The guacamole was delicious. All of the staff is amazing and super responsive. I've never stayed anywhere where the staff was that responsive to everything we needed. They were also super helpful in getting us set up for the things we wanted to do. We went over to the sister hotel Ahau for yoga and a beach day which was so amazing. The seaweed is a huge issue here and the beach in front of the Pescadores was not swimmable. But we rented bikes and rode over to Ahau where it was definitely swimmable and had a great time. We were only woken up by the construction one morning and able to take naps later that day. This hotel is off the beaten path and you definitely need a car to get around as the taxi prices are outrageous. There are some really cool restaurants within walking distance too and we walked along the beach on our way back. Overall this was such a great place with amazing staff, Alex took great care of us. The price in my opinion was great and I would highly recommend. And they deliver you coffee to your porch in the morning! Doesn't get better!

It's the closest place to the Tulum Ruins. In fact you can see the "castle" from the beach. The beach is lovely with tons of space to lounge, with several hang out areas. There is also a beach side bar that has swings! It also serves awesome food & drinks beachside. I had a salsa one afternoon that was made with pumpkin seeds omg so incredible! The fishing boats come up on the beach in the afternoons & as the sun sets over the Pacific Ocean the surrounding beauty is beyond compare. Pure tropical paradise. I spent a lot of time hanging at the beach bar swinging in the swings drinking margaritas & shots making friends new & old. It's hard to beat this spot on the beach. I'm 100% a beach person & this spot has to be in my top 5 EVER. It's really that great. The tiki cottages are the epitome of tropical paradise with all the creature comforts you could possibly need including AC. A little rustic but stylish, Bohemian chic, simplistic, yet romantic & very cool. What's even more incredible is the staff. The staff is BOMB. They are so sweet but so professional. Just totally cool, upbeat happy people that make you feel like family. Very very special staff at this place. Hanging in this drop dead gorgeous place it's impossible not to be in a good mood. It's not the kind of place that has super brand new modern floating sinks in the bath, super lux marble tile surround, chandeliers & that kind of urban upscale city stuff. It's nothing like that. If that is what you want this is not your groove. If you like a rustic tiki hut style, a natural tropical ambiance, in a romantic setting with super comfortable beds, incredible local food & the most incredible friendly staff, your paradise awaits. You can walk around this whole place barefoot in the super soft white sand. It's like your on your own little island. The sand is so WHITE, soft & luxurious! The extra touches at night like all the candlelight & the little galvanized tubs of water to wash your feet when you come & go from the restaurant are extra cool. I tried hard & racked my brain to come up with something that was bad here & the only thing I could possibly think to improve is the water pressure of the outdoor shower by the beach. And it was still not bad! Please don't stay here bc I want to be able to get reservations, often. Ha ha ha. I can't wait to return. This place is perfection.

My travel companion and I arrived midday on a Monday. The hotel set us up with airport transport, which is necessary as Tulum is 1.5 hours away. We were able to check in immediately and enjoy the pool right outside our garden room. The room had a large canopy bed, dressers, a tv with streaming options, and a large bathroom. For the price, we were pleasantly surprised! Our room was cleaned daily and the AC and Heat worked wonderfully. The included breakfast was simple but generous: fresh fruit, yogurt, and pastries with your choice of juice or coffee. It was a great way to start the day when we went off to adventure in Tulum! The staff was extremely helpful and set us up with cabs whenever we needed them, and were great at giving us suggestions for things to do, see, and eat around town. Tulum town is walkable from the hotel and we never once felt unsafe, even during the two dark and rainy nights we experienced. We had one full beach day and we spent it at the sister resort, Coco Beach Club Tulum. This was EXTREMELY useful because we didn't realize most of the beachfront in Tulum is private, and the public beaches are very busy. If you eat at the restaurant they waive the beach fee and you can stay all day. It was gorgeous! The one area of improvement would be the hotel restaurant. We ate here once and it was one of the less delicious meals of the trip. However, ALL food in town is incredible, so even though it wasn't the best it still wasn't bad. The drinks are tasty but you can find cheaper in the area, and the restaurant and bar close very early. Overall, we loved our experience here and will definitely be back! Please note: I'm a budget traveler on my first trip to Tulum, so I wasn't expecting a five star hotel. I wanted a warm place to rest my head between adventures that wouldn't break the bank and Coco Hacienda more than delivered!

This part will talk about the service and customer retention. To start, the last time we visited the front desk told us to reach out to them via WhatsApp to let them we will be checking back with them and they will add upgrades to our reservation. This time around they did just that. We got an upgraded room and free breakfast. Honestly a nice touch and it definitely will make us come back for a third. The one thing we didn't do when we were here was use there sister hotels amenities. Coco Hacienda is part of Coco Hotel and Coco Limited which are hotels on the tulum beach. To use the amenities you just need to bring a colored towel from the front desk, your room keys from coco hacienda and (it varies) have to order $35-50 worth of food and drinks. Once you check those boxes you can visit and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you go. It's beautiful. We used the $35-50 ordering requirement to buy drinks and chill on the beach. We went during 11-12p which wasn't too busy. It was before people checked in so the beach wasn't too busy.

We had great water pressure, room was extremely clean and we were given complimentary water. We headed up to the rooftop pool to grab a bite but they were out of most of food items and the drinks were way too sugary. That was disappointing and so was the view by the pool. The WiFi was also very spotty in the room. For dinner, we drove into the main strip aka downtown Tulum to dine at Parole Tulum and the experience in the downtown area was not fun. There were so many people and the amount of police and National guards that were around was so terrifying. It took us over 40 minutes to get back to Aloft because the police closed the main road and we had to use a different way that had the most pot holes I've ever seen. After a quick reflection, we decided to check out early of Aloft and leave Tulum all together. My spirit wasn't sitting right with the experience and it was time to go. Aloft accommodated the early departure which I truly appreciated.

We were given the information about the property and all the amenities as well as given a tour and then shown to our room, typically when you first arrive, they perform a greeting cleanse to, clear energy, set your vibe and give you a little taste of the beautiful Mayan cultural traditions. Unfortunately, when we were shown over to the location where they perform the energy cleanse no one was there so they said we'd have to come back the next day which never ended up happening. Finally, moments before we were checking out we asked if it was possible just to see what the experience was like before we left. That part was actually really good, especially after our experience staying here for six days, which will make sense by the end of this review. When we checked in, it was already dark out but the design and lighting as well as the bio inspired architecture which fuses art in nature was pretty cool to see. They only give you one key for your room for some odd reason, it was a little inconvenient because it meant that me and my wife had to be together at all moments and couldn't explore or do services separately without the hassle of having to meet up to share the key, or the other option is to go walk all the way to the front desk, which, although the walk is beautiful, the design of the floor is made out of a bunch of branches for the walkway and is very difficult to navigate, especially at night so walking turned out to be more of a hassle, but that's just me being nit-picky. The other option is you can reach out to your concierge and then they can send someone which means you're waiting sometimes 5 to 10 minutes, again very small minor inconveniences but nonetheless adds up when staying there for six days. It definitely has an effect on the overall appeal and serenity that one would expect from a place like this. The room itself had two very small shelf like closets definitely not enough hangers or space to accommodate both of our very limited wardrobe that we brought. I had to put 2 to 3 shirts on one hanger and hang the pants inside and that's literally all I brought other than T-shirts and socks and underwear and one pair of nice shoes I literally packed very minimal and still didn't have enough space... again very small inconvenience but nonetheless 20 different small inconveniences all fused together to make one kind of annoying overall experience. Now I can say that I have mixed feelings about the minimal electricity and necessity to use tea candles for our lighting, but I respect the sustainability aspect of it and it did make very nice environment and mood. The only downside is they tell you that you don't blow the candles out and you can leave them on overnight and we had one explode right next to our heads and over all of our bathroom essentials. The shower is right in the middle there's no protection for water so it gets all over the floor, I nearly slipped a few times because of it. Probably sounds nit picky, but these are things I believe make it or break it for places like this. We experienced some type of mishap daily. We ordered hot water and they brought a dirty used coffee pot. They left the dirty brush in the toilet area. Didn't pick it up until the following day. Asked us if we could place it outside the door. Took forever to bring blankets. They got maybe 8/10 requests wrong and charged us for some and denied that, so wasn't able to get a refund. wasn't much, but principally speaking it's horrible feeling in the midst of many things going wrong. Atmosphere - 90% (small weird sewage smell almost everywhere except the room) Vibe - 80% Cost - 75% should be more enjoyable for the price imo... i dont mind paying extra for experience when its on point Food - 60% (first meal, room-service, was incredible {and cost matched that} every other meal on property lacked in all ways except the sushi which we enjoyed as a snack before going to dinner off site. Really over priced in general but the experience and design makes it palatable. Service - 2 stars overall (except for our concierge who had to deal with her associates lack of professionalism and incredible number of mistakes made each day). Location/architecture,view - 100 (If it wasn't for the sound of the ocean slapping the rocks below our balcony and the sound of the waves soothing us at night, waking up to the most amazing view from bed facing the ocean and the sunrise and also the sunsets each night with a great breeze and insane temperatures than this trip would probably have been all bad. My suggestion. Book 1-2 nights for the location and view then find a better spot elsewhere.

There are no concierge reliably onsite. You are given a WhatsApp number to text and sometimes they can be very slow to respond. First issue I ran into was the concierge's lack of punctuality and poor communication regarding bike rentals. She promised a bike at 8am but 15 mins before the agreed upon time texted me that she could not follow through. I agreed to wait until 10 but was delayed a second time until 11. The second delay was not even communicated to me without my prompting. See chat screenshots. The main issue was my balcony was flooded by careless guests upstairs who left their outdoor tub running (see pic). I was splashed and had to change. My phone also got wet and I could not charge it for the rest of the night until it dried. I could have had other valuables such as electronics out that could have been irreparably damaged and I could not use either loungers, which were soaking wet for the rest of the day/night. The water ran for 10 mins before hotel staff could stop it. No one came to clean my balcony. However, most disappointing was the concierge's refusal to take accountability for the incident (again, see screenshots). I would have been happy with a complementary margarita but instead was completely dismissed. I asked to speak to a manager on site and was told there were none. I asked for an email address or phone number and was given only the reservation email address. I detailed my experience in an email and waited 2 weeks before righting this review. No one replied. It is my experience that guests' conduct at the hotel is within the control and part of the hotel's responsibility and that top tier hospitality establishments, which I had assumed Azulik to be, value customer satisfaction and have accountability. I was sadly wrong.
