Salad of warm pan roasted cherry tomatoes, dried tomatoes soaked in vinegar, and tuna(?). Delicious!

I had 3 course lunch of beautiful salad with tomatoes, local fish with peas and fennel, and fruit salad/soup. I don't care for strawberries or I would have had that with chocolate syrup. Anyway, the food was deceptively simple, yet the different combinations of flavors together were so satisfying. Be warned, this is not e regular tourist stop. No pizza or hamburgers in sight. JUst some very nice food. It appears to be a local place. The bar is as compact as the dining area. Very quaint.

Seafood paella 10/10: rice is cooked well and infused with a hearty seafood flavor. Comes with a lemon, which really balances out the seafood flavor well. Squid ink paella 8/10: delicious but a tad too salty for me. If you are sensitive to salt, I don't recommend it. Otherwise, it is very tasty! Grilled squid: 6/10 good but nothing mind blowing and felt overpriced compared to other places like Puertocillo. Ham croquettes: 7/10 tad too salty but tasty. Kind of overpriced. Service: the servers are nice and welcoming. Ambiance: comfy seating and can easily accommodate big parties. I went late at night so I didn't have to wait for my party of 7.

A friend recommended El Glop to me since they enjoyed it a lot, so I decided to check it out since it wasn't too far from where I was. I decided to come for lunch, and I arrived pretty soon after they opened so I was able to be seated right away. The interior is nice and homey, with quite a few tables inside. I decided to get the seafood paella since that's what my friend recommended. I have to say that this is probably one of the best paella I've had, the flavors were great and the texture was on-point. I finished one whole paella on my own, which I was surprised by since I thought that I would have leftovers at least. The seafood was also tasty, so overall I was very impressed. Would highly recommend checking this place out for paella, I greatly enjoyed mine!
