Ridiculously rude! I came in with my teenage son to get him fingerprinted for his first job. I was "greeted" by a cranky elderly man who did not look at me, but motioned for us where to stand, then went into the other room and grumbled. We had been told by my son's agency that we did not need forms. Once that debacle was solved, I began filling out the application form for son, and she said he should fill it out. "He's old enough!". Okay, I thought, this is good experience. So, my son, who has learning disabilities and chronic medical problems, filled out the form. He was feeling dizzy, so I told him he could sit down, so he sat and put his earbuds in to listen to music. He had made a mistake abreviating his birthdate. The woman looked at the form and kept yelling and scolding: "You should teach your son how to do things! This is not right!!" She went on and on! He just looked at her, I'm sure feeling embarrassed. Then she had the gall to motion toward my son with a disgusted face, and tell me that she had a relative "just like him - so rude!!!". Wow! I couldn't believe it. Rude because he was quietly listening to music while waiting? Rude because he was sitting down because he was dizzy? He never even interacted with her verbally or non-verbally, the whole time she was fussing over the papers and criticizing him. Thankfully my son got called in by the man to do his fingerprints, which is what we came for. She continued to go on questioning how my son was going to get along in life. I told the woman, that she knew nothing about my son, and that she should not criticize people she knows nothing about. She sort of agreed, but kept making remarks about him. I repeated to her that she had no right to judge someone she knew nothing about. We both thanked them for their service and left. She smiled as we left and asked something in broken English to the effect of "are we good?" No, we're not good. Stay away unless you want rude service and somebody who doesn't know how to mind her own business! Reading other reviews, I also wondered if racism played into this interaction. read more

This place is miserable. It's overpriced and the people don't speak English. They refused to help myself and my friend. The woman even questioned his criminal record! They told us they could not help us and told us to go to the Oakland PD instead. I hate being BS'ed. Do not give them your money. read more

I love the fact that this place is open on Saturdays, I went in for a notary seal, as I walked in both of the people in there seemed very friendly. They took my papers and ID and proceeded to make me the stamp, the man did not even bothered to ask me what kind of seal I was looking for, they seemed to have many options as I browsed their website, I proceeded to ask what my options where as far as seals, and the guy said "you don't need that its only one kind because it does not matter". As my notary business it does matter and the fact that he just took a pick and gave me what he wanted, it is not OK. I then mentioned that his website had many options and his answer was "I am really sorry but we only have this one" no explanation, no options, no nothing, to late for the questioning the seal was done. After all they hand you this 2 envelopes, where you are suppose to send them a copy of your stamp to them and one copy to the secretary of state, something they are suppose to be doing not the client. I would not be coming back here, such horrible service. I had to order another certificate to replace my stamp because I wanted a round one not a rectangular one. I wish this guy would of said he only had one type when I called to asked him. Very bad service, they seem to get mad when you start asking questions, horrible way to run a business. read more

I got the Livescan for the school where I'm interning. They were quick and professional. They weren't very talkative. But that's ok with me. What gives them the 5 star rating is that they did a good job for a good price AND, when I lost my carbon copy paperwork, the guy went through his files and pulled a copy for me taking an extra 10 minutes. I was sent here along with my coworkers from my job. The Asian man was EXTREMELY rude!!!!! I have skinny fingers and for some reason my fingerprints were not showing up clearly. He yelled at me for not cooperating. WTH? How am I not cooperating?? I was doing exactly what he was saying. He yelled at me to come back later and tried to help my coworker. My coworker said NO she would not cut ahead of me. He then rolled his eyes and put some corn husk oil on my "too skinny fingers" to make the prints show up muttering under his breath the entire time. Great service. After having a bad experience at IdentoGo in Alameda this place was fast ! My appointment was at 9:45am and I ended up getting there early in case I had any problems and they asked for my ID, I waited about 2 minutes and they called me in took my prints and I was done ! It was quick and they took me even though I was super early for my appointment !! read more

The people who work here don't speak English. I came in, new to the whole bureaucracy of livescan, not knowing exactly what to ask for, and what do I end up with? $50 spent on the wrong fingerprinting service. read more

The owners were friendly, knew what they were doing, were efficient, and gracious. Multiples times they expressed appreciation for doing business with them. The location is nice, easy to get to, and away from the city busyness while being accessible... easy parking. read more

I have never had such an enjoyable fingerprinting---forget fingerprinting---I have never had such an incredible customer service experience in my life. The two individuals working here put such effort and intention into creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for their clients. It is tricky to find, but others have given suggestions for that----just follow their directions and know the two people working here and the positive experience they will offer you is well worth it!!! At first I thought, OK I got my fingerprints taken, and that was just what I needed, so I was satisfied. It wasn't until I went to another place later on to get fingerprints taken again that I realized I was ripped off! Here one fingerprint card cost $25 and they tried to get me to do 2 even though I refused, while another place on Berkeley Square did the card for $10! read more

They provide walk-in services at very reasonable rates. When I called ahead to see if they would be open the following Monday, a holiday, they gave me very helpful directions about parking and times to come by. There was no wait, and when I realized I had forgotten one of the documents I needed, they came in early the next day to accommodate my schedule!
