Over the years, we have worked closely with Luis, and a few qualities have consistently stood out: he is always punctual, offers fair pricing, and delivers remarkable results. This time, we decided to move forward with a project Luis recommended: refinishing one of the wood laminate kitchen countertops in our rental unit. Initially, I expected the result to look like a simple repaint, especially considering how worn and faded the laminate surface had become. However, once I saw the finished work, I could hardly believe my eyes. It genuinely looked as though we had replaced the countertop with granite. The finish appeared solid, durable, and waterproof. Luis and his team did an outstanding job. I was truly blown away by both the quality of the workmanship and the final result. I only wish I had taken before-and-after photos, but judging by the many client photos already available, you can clearly see the level of quality they consistently deliver. Would I use Always Refinishing again and highly recommend their work? Absolutely: 100%.

The yep was really nice and overall I think he did a good job (the smell is a lot so I didn't get to really inspect yet) But before he left I pointed out that paint was removed from the walls. I took photos of the few that I could see before he sealed the room. When I called the company they said in the fine print there is a note that they are not responsible for any damage to the walls. I just had this bath redone so it's not an old paint issue! So now I'm going to pay $400 for a small bathtub to be reglazed and have to hire a painter to come out and smooth and repaint the walls. Needless to say shit customer service!!

I also like that they are a small business - I felt my project was important to them even though it was not the "biggest" (especially since I broke it into 2 phases for my own budget planning). I'm VERY happy with my updated kitchen and would work with them again.

Their shop was spotless and they had a number of items to inspect and that is what sealed the deal for us is that their shop was spotless and very nice things they were working on. They also came and picked up the desk and delivered it back here as well... this was a risk for us because we had reached out to a handful of companies a couple years ago and looked at their work online and was just not happy with their work. I had my floor done 2 years ago. During the process they were flexible with me because we were…read moreremodeling our home. We spent about 30K on the flooring after they up-charged us on concrete to level the floors because if we didn't then the warranty would not be in place. Within a year the flooring by my pantry started to come apart. We ignored it but after a while we found more flooring has come apart going into the living room and hallway. I finally called My Flooring Guy for help. They told me the warranty on their work only lasted a year. The 30 year warranty was by the manufacturer. However they would have someone call me to see if it was covered. No one called. I called again. This time they gave me an email address to send pictures of the problem. I did so but again no answer. These floors were supposed to last but apparently they don't and this company doesn't stand by their work. Do not go with this company or you will regret it. I will be having someone come out to try to fix my floors and will look into legal action if possible. So much money wasted. Thanks for nothing My Flooring Guy.

I stepped out to pick up some odds and ends to return to see the second coat. Wow! Armando is a floor restoration artist. If you don't use Sunshine, your nuts. Only 4 years in and I have paint peeling and chipping down to the wood. An experienced contractor told me that they likely cut corners and didn't wait long enough for the primer to dry fully before painting. I spoke to the manager and he said: "At this point, the project is outside any reasonable workmanship responsibility. Our work was performed professionally and according to the agreed scope at the time." Even though it's only been 4 years. How quickly would the paint have to peel for it to be inside of a "reasonable workmanship responsibility" - it lasted less than 1/3 of the time the manufacturer of the paint said it would last! Proof is in the pudding, look at the pic, this is just one spot out of many that are like this. Instead of offering to come by and do some touch-ups, they just washed their hands clean of the whole thing. Also, he swears that they did 2 coats but they did not. I remember specifically asking if he was going to do 2 coats and he said that 1 would be plenty efficient for this quality of paint. I'm a partially disabled veteran, I don't have the money to be repainting my house every 4 years. I bought a quality paint, expecting it to last the 10-14 years that Behr says it should last, not 4. Very disappointed to say the least

Sam, Tony , Uschi and all of the Cal Custom Interiors team is GREAT!!! Sam surveyed and oversaw each of the projects that we had at my mom's house. We really appreciate that small or large, he still gave them his attention. We had repairs done to the front flooring to the entrance of the house; replaced bathroom floor/leaking toilet and ; and they built a porch with stairs outside the laundry room. The flooring in the bathroom came out beautifully. And we couldn't be happier with the stairs. A lot of attention to detail. Mom is really pleased! Tony was a pleasure to work with and kept me up to date. He was very responsive and always returned my calls promptly. Uschi in the office was also right on top of things when it came to communication! Customer service is important to me. So fitting us into their schedule for the front door flooring and bathroom repair on a very short turn around to accommodate our schedule........can't ask for more!! read more

We stopped by their showroom about three to four times to pick out the tile, countertop, cabinets, etc. and each time Tim was very accommodating and patient. He assisted but was not overbearing at all in terms of helping us choose what would look best and gave some great tips and points. Our master bathroom was more than just a facelift, we removed a closet, extended the bathroom, fixed a leak, moved some plumbing and electrical, etc. Each crew member we interacted with was extremely professional, did the work quickly and professionally, and Sam the foreman was helpful in answering all of our questions. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the end product. Tim and his entire team are very patient, communicative, and we will likely use EKB again when we get our other bathrooms and kitchen redone.
