Highly recommend Cal Customs. Mario and his team delivered as promised. I met with three contractors to renovate my mom's place at Leisure World. Mario was my first appointment. He told me at the time we'll sign with him and he was right! We went with him because he and his team are responsive, timely, detailed, offered suggestions, and gave us options. My mom's place turned out beautifully and we're all very pleased. If Mario and team are closer to our house, I would have already requested a renovation quote. read more

When people think about remodeling their homes, they often feel a deep trepidation because of the nightmares they've heard about construction companies - miscommunications, shoddy workmanship, workers who show up late or not at all, while budget costs spiral out of control. Cal Custom Interiors blows all those stereotypes away. From our first meeting with owner, Sam McCall, we felt comfortable that this company really knew their business and really cared about its customers. We had a big job - we needed all new flooring throughout our 2800-square foot house plus a brand new kitchen from the studs up. The team began the job on March 2 and by May 10, it was finished to perfection. The final product could not be more functional or beautiful. We LOVE our new home! During this entire time there were workers on our job EVERY day, sometime even on the weekends. And all of the people who work for Cal Custom are friendly, respectful and complete professionals. They are best described as highly skilled craftsmen who take tremendous pride in their work down to the smallest detail. In short, our extensive house remodel was done on time and on budget to the highest standards by talented craftsmen who truly care about every aspect of their work. We highly recommend Cal Custom Interiors to anyone who is looking for top-quality, well-priced commercial or residential construction work. read more

We were given Sam's information as a recommendation from friend and glad we decided to go with his crew. The project we hired then for was two fold: a full demo and kitchen remodel and outside entire house painted. The crew at cal custom interiors is very thorough, kind, considerate, professional and always on time. Ending each day by a good clean up. We are very pleased with the outcome of everything we had done to our house even when I would change my mind on a a few projects. Just a few little hiccups on a couple items (which can be expected I guess ) but Sam , Tony and his crew are on top of it to fix the issues. They will either call you right away or text to address any questions or problems. Jose the painter spent a lot of time and attention to detail to our outdoor and indoor painting. We Highly recommend Sam and his crew for your projects. read more

We hired Cal Custom Interiors to refinish our wood floors and add new wood floors into our bedroom which was previously carpeted. I contacted Marcos based on a referral from a neighbor. He was so polite, prompt and knowledgeable through the whole process. He accommodated our timing and was so easy to reach and communicate with. Sergio and Tyler worked on our floors. We cannot tell where the old floors ended and new began. They matched the new wood with the old perfectly, and were forthcoming about our flooring in advance of the job (we have old floors). Their work was superb. We are so happy with the finished product that we are hiring them for a bathroom remodel job. I highly recommend Marcos, Sergio, Tyler and the Cal Custom Interiors team! read more

Sam and his team have been great! So far we have completed two projects with a third in the near future. First, they demoed the concrete in our garage, driveway, and patio area, and replaced it with brand new concrete, a tiled patio and beautiful wood fence. I get daily compliments on the fence from our neighbors. When that project was complete, we moved inside to remodel our bathroom. I had shown Sam a picture of what I envisioned and he delivered. The tile work is beautiful and the custom vanity is gorgeous. His crew was very clean, on time, kind, pleasant, and so considerate of being in our home. Everyone was extremely easy to work with. We highly recommend Cal Custom Interiors for any project! read more

I had Cal Customs come out to quote a bathroom remodel after hearing great things about their work. After reviewing the scope with me I never heard back from them. I called to follow up with them and they eventually called me back saying that they weren't going to quote it. This is after during the review of scope at my house their guy Mario dropped his tape measure on my oak hardwood floors denting and scratching them. Really disappointed they wasted my time and damaged my floors. The guy didn't even apologize when he did it and no real reason was given for not quoting. read more

Do not use for commercial contracting. I'm sure based off others reviews this business does a fine job with home renovations, but using them for a commercial job was a nightmare. They were incapable of applying for permits and submitting plans that they had promised us would be no problem, resulting in our job going from a 3 month timeline to over 8 months. This resulted in costing us tens of thousands of dollars extra between having to hire other companies to do the work they had promised and months of extra rent. As well, upon inspections from the city, they had hastily overlooked a number of simple things such as strapping the water heater down, which as a result left us a laundry list of work to do ourselves as they wouldn't even answer our calls. This company is not qualified for commercial build outs. read more

I can't say enough about Sam and Cal Custom Interiors! I hired them for my remodel and addition and I couldn't be happier with the whole process and my newly remodeled home!! Everyone at Cal Custom Interiors are very professional, prompt, and caring. My project took 5 months to complete and their crew was at my house everyday M-F (and some Saturdays) from 7am sharp to 3:30pm. The foreman Marco was awesome! His attention to detail was amazing!! I am so happy with my "new home"!! I have had several neighbors come by to see what I had done and ask me about Cal Custom and I couldn't say enough good things about them and my experience with them. I have a beautiful hardwood floor that was damaged by a cleaning lady, a slab leak and a puppy. The cleaning lady used tile cleaner on the wood in the kitchen and it took the finish off the floor. The wood had buckled in our dining room due to water damage from the slab leak, and the dog had dug three holes in the kitchen and chewed the baseboard and door jamb of the pantry. Sam, Marcos, and a great crew repaired the damage, sanded and re-varnished my entire downstairs floor. It's perfect and beautiful. I am very pleased and would highly recommend doing business with them. read more
