They did a great job and I would highly recommend using George for any needs you have! They even brought my cats back in the house before they left, amazing! read more

GR Repair and Maintenance did a great job enhancing my garage: installing a new ceiling with lights and storage, replacing a window, painting, and adding a concrete coating to the floor. It looks fantastic now and has made working in it much more comfortable. George is very easy-going, honest, and his pricing is straightforward and fair. I will definitely be reaching out to GR Repair and Maintenance for future projects. read more

We couldn't be happier with the quality of work and excellent customer service from GR Repair & Maintenance! The owner responded right away to my inquiry, came out the next day to give us a quote, and began work within a few days. They were able to do everything on my list of repairs and Jorge came up with creative solutions for the trickier repairs. His worker, Felix did excellent work, was kind and courteous, and cleaned everything up after work each day. The quote was very fair and he worked within our budget. He emailed us a detailed list with the cost of each repair and we were able to pick and choose which projects we'd like done. Don't hesitate to use GR Repair and Maintenance!!! read more

I had a garbage disposal replaced. The price was fair, the work done promptly and correctly. Highly recommend!!

This is the second time I have used George for home repairs. Several years ago he repaired parts of my vinyl flooring to get my house ready to sell. Even though we didn't have any spare pieces, he went and found the closest match and got my house ready to sell. Most recently, we had him demo our garage, repair drywall, paint and install lighting and a sink. He communicated well and always wanted to make sure the job was done to our satisfaction. I would definitely use him again. I feel like his prices are fair and his work is solid. read more

Amazingly fast, attentive to details, great communication! We worked with George and team to update our fireplace (moved studs, repaired drywall, electrical outlet, recess a TV mount and install acoustic wood slat panels). We're very happy and will definitely call them again the next time we have a home project! read more

Broken garbage disposal and quick response; was able to replace on the spot with a disposal we provided. Thank you!

George's worker removed an iron gate with open rails that was allowing rodents into the backyard and installed this beautiful high and hopefully rodent resistant redwood gate. George's communication leading up to the start date was very good. His written contract was well done and easy to understand. Once the work started, the worker showed up on time every day and cleaned up after himself every day leaving the work space tidy for the next day. He completed the job exactly when he said he wood. George came by throughout the process to check on the work. We are all happy with the results. This is the second project George's company has done for me; the first one installing windows on a garage. I like the easy payment method of Zelle. I look forward to working with George and his worker(s) in the future. PS - I also had another (small) job at another house I needed done and George had it done complimentary. Thank you, George! read more

I had a couple of drywall repairs that needed to be done. Jorge (George) came out and looked at every part, gave me a fair estimate and I signed his contract. Felix came out and in three trips, performed a miracle and turned an ugly water stained ceiling into a beautiful brand new looking ceiling and walls. He was very respectful of the house covering floors, stairs and protecting surrounding areas. Felix was also excellent at communicating his progress. Jorge was also good at communication and I would definitely recommend this company to everyone! read more

I had an excellent experience with GR Repair & Maintenance. They recently installed drywall in my home after some electrical work. The finished wall looks incredibly clean--seamless and smooth that you'd never even know it had been opened up in the first place. The attention to detail is top-notch, and they clearly take pride in doing the job right, not just fast. And everything was kept tidy during and after the work, which I really appreciated. George & Co are true professionals & I will absolutely reach out again the next time I'm looking for home repair! read more

George did a great job matching, replacing, and resetting stone tiles on a lamppost at our commercial property. His workmanship was excellent and it's obvious he takes pride in his work. He also did a great job straightening out a metal box that topped the post. I don't know how he managed to make it look so good after it had been pretty banged up. I got a few different bids and his price was reasonable. Will definitely call George for future repairs! read more

George and his team were super efficient with the work, and extremely responsive in the e-mails. He helped talk to my upstairs neighbors' insurance to get them papers and details of the damages and the repair estimates. After the work was done, they cleaned up nicely, and George came in himself and check to make sure things were wiped down properly as well. George even saw my situation with other parties insurance because they aren't trying to cover everything they should be covering and helped me out with accepting payments when I got paid instead of immediately after the work was done. read more

George was great to work with. He installed a garbage disposal and fixed a leaky kitchen drain. He is fair with his prices. He was on time and quick to get to work. He does a great job cleaning up the workspace. There was a hiccup with the work, but George, true to his word, came back the next day to correct it. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a handyman. Thanks George! read more

George and his team we're amazing from start to finish. We needed several things done at once, including moving a bathroom door to another wall, replacing flooring, and intalling new fixtures in the kitchen. George was very responsive, and communicated every day, which I really appreciated. His quote was very reasonable, the workmanship was exceptional, and George took the time to recommend solutions that were always right on target. The site was clean at the end of every day. Very helpful, friendly, and most importantly quality work. I highly recommend GR Repair & Maintenance and will use them again without a doubt! Thanks, George! read more

Excellent work. Very professional. Clean up after working. Professional contracts written. Great value! I removed flooring. 1st I removed the carpet and to my surprise it was wood flooring. Well, I grew tired of the mismatched flooring and decided to have one floor put in throughout my home. I bought flooring through Home Depot and George, owner of GR Repair & Maintenance was recommended. I gave him a call and made an appointment and he was on time. After making the agreement and signing the contract. Prior to work starting George brought over his guy to introduce him. After the first phase, he brought over and introduced the next guy. This is an exceptional practice. It allows one to know what to expect... Back to the story... I needed sub-flooring in the room with the wood flooring. The previous owner 27 years ago (I've been in my home for 27+years), the wood floor was installed on slanted wood which I was told by the flooring people it was foundation and they would not install the floor on top of those diagonal wood planks. Well, George could have installed the sub-floor right on top of the diagonal planks I explain to him, I needed it as level as possible. George recommended pulling it all up and making it level. The work was done! The sub-flooring was installed and the work was well done. I am so pleased with not only their work. I am pleased on how they conducted themselves and how they cleaned up behind themselves. It's hard having strangers in your home. Not one time did I or my family feel uncomfortable with George and his crew there. Thank you George. Tell your guys, great job and thank you! read more

I had a new oven delivered a week ago and the delivery guys damaged the connectors to the gas line trying to remove the old oven (which they were not able to do successfully). I called George and he made it a point to help me out as soon as possible as I was stuck with two ovens that didn't work. We made an appointment for the next business day. He was prompt, communicative, did the job quickly and even put my new oven in for me (which I was planning to do myself)! Thank you George and GR Repair & Maintenance! I will give you guys a call the next time I need repairs or maintenance done! read more

Very professional. Attention to detail. Did a very good job repairing my front door.

I had 3 contractors come look at my venting situation in my laundry room and none of them could figure it out. Each time I paid someone to vent it incorrectly and they said it couldn't be done. My laundry room would steam up and get wet like a sauna and George fixed it for me at a reasonable price, thank you and I'll definitely be using your services again! read more

George and his team replaced our 1970s electrical panel with a brand new one, and installed electrical, plumbing and venting to move our laundry inside the house. George and Alex are great! Not only do they show up on time, but if they are running late, they will call you and give you an updated ETA. They were highly responsive and did everything they were asked to do in a professional and workmanship like manner. My client had them back several times before the close of escrow to make sure everything that needed to be addressed was done on her multi-million-dollar beach house. As a high-end realtor, I am always looking for professionals I can count and depend on. Geroge and Alex are exactly those professionals. I will definitely be calling on them again! Oh, BTW, they are friendly too! read more

I'll start by saying we are very pleased with the completion of our kitchen remodel. We hired George and his company to do the remodel based on other quality work they did for us in our condo. They did some wall and door work at my place. Fair price and dependable handy man services. I'd definitely use them again.

We were starting to lay down some new flooring when we realized that our floor was substantially not level from our kitchen into the main family room. I called around to several construction companies when finally someone told me that this job is probably too small for a construction company and to try calling a handyman. So, I reached out to handymen that were highly recommended in my city, all of them said that it was something they couldn't do. After almost giving up, I found Jorge at GR Repair here on Yelp and made an appointment for him to come by and take a look at this floor. He said that he could fix it and sent me a proposal that evening. The price was fair and we hired him for the job. Boy was I amazed!!! Him and his team exceeded our expectations! They were reliable, professional, quick and cleaned up every day before they left. They started at the same time every day and ended at the same time. I never had to wonder if they would be there or what time they would be there. Always honest and reliable. Jorge and his team did so well leveling our floor that we asked him to level another small hallway in our home and to do some touch up paint on the interior and the new baseboards that are going in with the new flooring. I only wish I had known about GR Repair earlier, I would have hired them to do our new flooring too! Anyway, we are so pleased with the work that GR Repair has done so far and definitely recommend Jorge and his team to anyone looking for any work to be done in their home. His team does it all!!! Don't hesitate to call them. It's so hard to find good handymen/contractors. They truly are the best!!!! Some before and after pics for reference. read more
