Although it was a standard 33 x 22 sink replacement, Victor had to cut quite a lot from the counter top to get it to sit flush. After that, he got the disposal and all the plumbing to line up. He ran the sink and disposal and after a few more minor adjustments, he was done. Everything works perfectly! No leaks. I will be using Victor for future projects.

Alex was quick with his reply and we arranged to meet at my home on the 4th of July, and he arrived exactly on time. At first, it took a few moments to catch on to his accent. This very pleasant handyman is formerly a Russian, and he is perfectly happy to be alive and working in the home of the brave. In he walked, very confident, with a fairly lrge satchel full of assorted tools. I brought him to the site of the offending troublesome valve and he set to work on it at once. In what was probably less than 20 minutes, he had the toilet flushing perfectly, at least 4 times, allowing a fill each time. Congratulations Alex! QUALITY: One cannot argue with success. The job was handled properly, promptly, with hardly a word spoken. At one point, he wanted to draw my attention to a part, and when he wasn't able to say it, he apparently tooked it up and showed me the translated word on his phone. Clever, this fellow, quick and clever. VALUE: Alex had agreed with me in advance regarding the fee. He was happy to take my check and after talking with me in general about some painting (Ceiling) I might wish to complete, for which he gave me a fine estimate, he drove away. We also asked if he could replace a few bathtub stoppers which he did really efficiently. We appreciated how he painted and cleaned the work site, and how he finished the tasks on schedule and on budget. One of the doors had a special issue requiring additional work, and he came and fixed it up without charging us extra. He treats your place with respect! It was a weekend so I started to search for roofing companies to see if any one can come out and at least tarp the roof before the next rainstorm scheduled to arrive in 3 days. I called my previous roofing company and was not able to get a hold of them and did not receive a call back. I decided to check good ol'Yelp and found Golem Roofing with all it's great reviews. I corresponded with them that evening and they were able to go to the house at 11am the next morning. The technician made the repairs and so tarping was not needed. I was only charged $400 for this and so far so good the tenant said he hasn't heard any rain. Andy was excellent and letting me know to contact him if there was still leaking after the repair and they would go back and re-evaluate. Andy of Golem never told me whether the roof needed to be replaced. It has been 20 years so I reached out and he gave me all the details and said they didn't want to be pushy because a lot of homeowners wanted to get a few more years out of their roof. I appreciate his honesty and also I loved that they were not pushing us to get a new roof even though we needed one. I believe that things will not get cheaper and I like to fix things before big issues occur so at this moment I am working with Andy to get an estimate and will go forward with replacing the roof in the next few months.

Throughout the process, Max was responsive and transparent, and was regularly onsite to supervise his subs. He was happy to provide input but also happy to let me make my own choices and decisions. One plumber could install a gas line only, another plumber could install a gas line and the gas cooktop but not the hood, and an appliance installation technician could not install the cooktop because he could not cut into the existing granite top. So I found Max of MRI Construction and Remodeling on Yelp, and he said that he could do the work within that original scope -- cooktop, hood, and gas line -- but that we should anticipate a backup plan in case the granite cracked during installation. Because we plan to live in this house for as long as possible, we decided to go through a full kitchen renovation. We had a prior experience with another general contractor who was impossible to get a hold of and who could not ensure the quality of the subcontractors he hired, and interviewed another general contractor who gave us the impression that we would have to engage with suppliers and subcontractors more than seemed feasible. We are happy to say that we just finished our kitchen renovation last week! And it was finished a week earlier than scheduled. We are thankful to Max and his team of subcontractors! We are really happy with the final kitchen, given how much we cook at home. And surprisingly the process was easy despite its size and time of 6 weeks. Max has the strengths and qualities you want for your construction projects: he's incredibly responsive, honest and communicative, and willing and able to troubleshoot issues that come up, as they invariably do, both small and large. He makes recommendations if you ask and gives you options for decisions for which there are too many options. He works with an amazing group of subcontractors who are experts in their craft. There was an exception with one subcontractor but Max was able to get that course-corrected so that the project finished strong. We appreciate his integrity and his willingness to ensure that the project meets your needs and expectations. We are grateful that we found Max on Yelp and for being able to work with him on a kitchen that we love and also within budget!! Thank you, Max and MRI Construction!!

Throughout the entire process, Mike was very professional and the level of expertise he exhibited was obvious. Before Mike, I had met with 3 other contractors to compare services and quotes but what sealed the deal for me was the 3D render service Mike offered. It was affordable and it would be free if you end up going with MDM for your remodel. Mike was able to get the renderings to me very quickly and made adjustments whenever we wanted to change something. Seeing the details of the renderings really brought what we were envisioning to life and helped with the design process. Fast forward to beginning of demo/construction, Mike's employees were impressively fast and efficient at their jobs, but what really impressed me was how clean they kept our property after each day of work. And that stated true throughout the entire process of our 7 month renovation. During construction, if there were any last minute changes, Mike would always try to cater to our needs whenever possible. Even if subcontractors made mistakes with anything, Mike would make sure it is fixed and perfect right away. Keep in mind, you can't rely on Mike for everything (as much as you might want to). You really do have to do your research (in terms of design, finishing materials, sourcing those materials, and getting them delivered on time) and know exactly what you want and how you want it, that way, Mike can plan and put into action what needs to be done. After this entire process, we are extremely happy we got this project completed with MDM. What really sets them apart is the quality of work, dependability, and the great people that work for MDM. Shoutout to Mario! They really respected our home and were very considerate of us during construction. Even after everything was finished, they guaranteed that they would come back and fix anything that needed fixing. Cannot recommend them enough if you want to improve or build your new home!

This person, Mindaugas is a scammer and identity thief! Be careful and think twice before hiring him. He worked for our company "LUXURY HANDYMAN 4 YOU" as a freelancer, got paid good money when he NEEDED it most, and he repaid us by opening account using our name (YES, it is fraud to add word "general" to it to make it your own!). He was adding photos of jobs he received from us, got paid by us to his fraud account and some of those reviews were also for our jobs that he did while working for us! If you work at McDonald's and leave to open "BEST McDonalds" and take burgers to sell at your "BEST McDonald's" it doesn't make it right and it is ILLEGAL! This is straight forward fraud. But he thought he will get away with it! Not this time. Luckily we got a call from a confused client, who told us that Mindaugas is going around using our name and reputation. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! The response was incredibly fast, and I was able to get same-day service, which is rare. Even though the job required multiple trips to the hardware store and took longer than expected, he handled it all with patience and professionalism. They are scamming people. They are pretending as my previous handyman - Luxury Handyman 4 You. They are using their name. I accidently call'ed them and just found that during the call that actualy not a real provider. Yelp should remove those service providers like this. read more
