Wow, knocked it out of the park. This company has helped us with several projects now. They were responsive to requests and knew how to do everything right. Being someone that is a professional builder myself, I can say their quality shines through. I have a hard time asking for help and getting it when I don't have the time or expertise, but 7 Point was willing to meet us where we were at every time. Our Santa Barbara stucco finish they did is beautiful and widely complimented in our neighborhood. They have helped with our home retrofit to bolt our house to foundation, framing out new windows and doors, a bathroom remodel, a clean interior skim coat finish they for us to close up the house, and more. I am recommending them constantly. Definitely the right company if you are in the market for any kind of modern styling with your remodel or ADU. They do really clean work and everyone working with this company is awesome. read more

In 2018 we had a re-tile of a fireplace surround done with some hand made tile. Not only did they buy an excessive amount of tile for the job and stick us with a lot of very pricey excess tile, but their installation has left us now with eroding tile, as you can see from attached photos. The erosion began with a haze, which slowly led to a crumbling away of the glaze from the top of the tile. Also, numerous tiles have cracked, which is caused by poor installation. We've received an estimate of $1400.00 for the twelve or so tiles that need replacing. At this point we're unsure if the entire flooring hearth part of the job needs to be torn out. That will be way more costly. We were unhappy in general with all the delays and the slow pace of this company. Now this has made us even more furious about their quality of work. When they were lacquering the wood for the mantelpiece, it kept getting cloudy because they were applying it too close. My husband had to tell the worker how to do it and to back up and stand further away. Their craftsmen were not that skilled in a number of types of work such as applying wood finish and also tile sealant. Their tape that they used to attach protective paper to my rug also ruined it in the spots that they applied the tape. I can't tell you how sorry now that we ever got mixed up with this company. read more

They moved an electrical panel in our backyard and now water is coming from where the panel was flooding our dining area. Our living room fan isn't working anymore. They didn't schedule with us. They just popped up. No one is answering the phone now. Please don't contact them for any work! You'll end up with more issues! read more

I hired them to paint my house, not only was the work immaculate, they worked overtime to finish it early. Will be contacting them for my next remodel. Recommended them to family. read more

So this review is not for work performed but about absolute poor & non existent communication. I had a meeting with Josh the day after thanksgiving for a pretty extensive project for my home. He was supposed to get back to me in 2-3 weeks with an estimate. I've called / emailed about 6-8 times over the last 2 weeks with no response. If this is the communication standard this guy operates with, then I'm VERY glad that I won't be working with him. This is by no means a small project, it's well over $1m build cost. I'm assuming this is a 1-2 man outfit that's used to doing smaller jobs. Would've been nice to have not been left hanging for over a month. read more

7 point construction did an absolutely wonderful job reconstruction my bathroom. I was beyond pleased with the professionalism of their project manager and employees. As a member of the military my schedule is very tight. They worked around my work schedule and were surprisingly amendable to my comfort dog being present during the construction. They picked up parts from Home Depot for me and even met me at the store to assist me in picking materials such as tile, hardware and paint. I'd highly recommend 7 point construction to anyone! read more

Can't say enough great things about 7 Point! I have worked with several contractors but 7 Point has been the best, by far! Josh stopped by to provide an estimate. Very punctual and provided excellent suggestions. Grace was very responsive to all of my emails. Ron, the project manager, was always on top of everything and kept me updated every step of the way. Although there was a delay on the fence and gate (couldn't be helped), I never felt worried because there was constant communication. They finished everything up, cleaned everything and made sure that I was happy the whole time. I highly recommend 7 Point Construction and definitely plan on using them again for any future projects. Made an appointment and no one showed up. I sent an email letting them know that no one showed up and no one even apologized. A month prior, I contacted them regarding an addition to my home. Earlier that day a guy called to tell me he was sending an email and that I needed to accept the appointment online. I gave him my email and never received it. I assumed since he had my address already and we had spoke that he wouldn't just ghost me. I am in the process of moving cross country and was running errands all day long while being here from out of town. I didn't really have time to babysit an appointment I had made over a month ago. I showed back up to the property and waited for an hour. nothing! Seriously......I was so busy that day. So unprofessional. If you don't want the work, don't set up an appointment time! Its pretty simple. I will give my $100,000 project to someone who showed up that day. read more

We recently finished a complete remodel of our home with 7 Point and were so pleased not only with the outcome, but how great their team was to work with. Ron or Josh were always on sight, easy to get ahold of, did incredible work, and did it all in a timely manner. They had a great design team that helped with decision making on tile, layout of the bathroom, flooring, closets....everything. I would highly recommend them and will use them again for any other projects we end up doing later on down the road. You won't be sorry!!! read more

7 Point Construction - General Contractors Near Me - Long Beach, California

I highly recommend the team at 7 Point Construction. We recently purchased a 20 year old house that needed some work done. That work included new flooring, cabinets, replacing sliding door and some other repair work. There were a number of different projects, and they executed everything with skill craftsmanship and professionalism. Our project manager, Ron Flores was awesome! He was responsive, professional and went out of his way to make things work for us. We have a few other projects that we plan to take on in the future, and we will definitely call 7 Point to help. read more

Amazing!! Renovated our entire home after a toilet leak. Beautiful work, excellent quality. Josh and Ron are literally the BEST.

Current project is a 2 story addition of approximately 1250 square feet. On the 2nd floor, we are adding/enlarging our master bedroom and bath, adding a sitting room, office and covered patio. Main floor is adding a "man room" for hubby, a wine room/cellar, covered patio, expanding our kitchen by adding a family parlor and covered outdoor space for dining. So, we have covered the gamut of construction trades.7 Point has been extremely helpful in all aspects. We have made modifications as we have gone along and Josh (owner) has been involved. We had a structural engineering company design some elements and 7 Points found a problem with the design. We had our plans revised to reflect this change. Can't say enough positives. Our previous contractor was so different and produced shoddy work. 7 points is fixing the garage roof (shingles falling off) from our garage addition completed a year ago. Hubby and I could not be more pleased with this experience. We have recommended 7 Point Construction to several neighbors and friends. read more

Very reliable, professional and quality work. I have a 1904 historic house and 7 Point did several repair that were not done correctly from a prior contractor. 7 Point repaired my downstairs bathroom ceiling with water leaks, repaired upstairs tile and sealed the upstairs bathtub that was leaking through to the bottom floor ceiling. They also fixed faulty electrical work that was not done correctly from a prior contractor and prevented a possible electrical fire in the attic in addition to correcting the tankless water heater in the attic that was not installed properly from the prior contractor. I have currently hired them to do my landscape and maintenance for my 5000 sqft yard. The company is definitely highly recommended by the Long Beach residents and all my friends use 7 Point. They're awesome and worth every dollar. You definitely get what you pay for!! read more

We hired Josh and the 7 Point crew to install our bathroom and I cannot say enough nice things about them. Timely, professional, clean, and I was quoted a fair price. They weren't the cheapest, but they were not the most expensive bid either. I ended up choosing them because I trusted Josh and I had called his references which were all outstanding. Ok. Let me start off by saying that I waited SEVENTEEN yearssssss to remodel my 1939 original kitchen. Yup. You read that right. 1939. And nothing had been done to it ever ( except that someone had added some gross peach kitchen tiles to the countertops in the 80s.). It was a HOT mess and completely ill suited to how we live and how we need to function as a family! . I can't tell you how absolutely thrilled we are with the workmanship and our final results with our kitchen. Josh and Ron were wonderful to work with, showed constant attention to detail and weren't satisfied until it was perfect ( seriously. Multiple times *they* were the ones that required that this detail or that detail be redone because *they* weren't absolutely satisfied. I mean, come ON! when have you ever heard that about a contractor?!?) . All of their workers were polite, conscientious of being in our home, and really great trades people. Their price point was in complete alignment with the other bids that we had gotten but their large amount of reviews over several review platforms was what made us choose them. We were not disappointed. They came in EXACTLY on budget and I'm attaching photos of our kitchen.....thank you 7 points!! Every morning I wake up and look around grinning because it's SOOOOO beautiful! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Josh and his team. We used 7 Point to install some specific material as part of a larger backyard redo (wish we had know about them earlier, would have hired them to do the entire project). The install went smooth and we were happy with their service and follow up. They even sent us a Thank You gift basket which happened to arrive on our anniversary, which was a nice touch. About 5 months after the installation I noticed a hairline crack in the out-door counter top they had installed. I had recently rained and it was a material failure. I contacted the office and they had someone out the next day to look at it. A day or two after that I got an email to schedule the installation of a new counter top- no questions asked. This was not inexpensive material. I was blown away by their accountability and willingness to fix the problem as opposed to blaming someone else or telling me it wasn't too noticeable or we would just have to live with it (lines I have heard from other contractors). They came out and replaced the cracked piece (it is a larger counter top so two pieces). A day or two later I noticed the old and new piece looked to be a slightly different color. I wasn't sure if it was the lighting or just my eyes playing tricks on me. I didn't want to say anything to 7 Point after the great service they had already provided. But the color difference was there and others noticed it too. I called the office and again they had someone out the next day to look at it. I was so impressed when they got back to me a few days later to schedule the re-installation of the countertop again to match colors. Again, this was not inexpensive material! The crew came today and did the work. As expected, it looks great. Again, I have bee blow away by the accountability, integrity and customer service 7-Point has shown through this process (unfortunately, not the experience I have had with many other contractors). I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor to do any type of work and will look forward to our next home improvement project to have an opportunity to work again with such a professional and stand-up group. read more

I cannot say enough good things about 7 Point and 7 Point owner Josh and his team. Over the last 18 months, we have had them paint the outside of our house, install rain gutters, build a lattice fence, put on a new roof, do siding and stucco work, build interior walls, finish our garage, re-route furnish ducting, install new carpet, build custom shelves, and other smaller projects. Josh's prices are competitive, often the lowest, and his team does excellent work. He stands by his work, the few things that were not exactly the way we wanted them were quickly corrected at no additional cost to us. He has fair invoicing practices and he always honored his bids. They are also very responsive, kept their schedule, made sure work areas were clean when they were finished, and it is a trustworthy and friendly team. An excellent all around contracting company to do business with. On our recommendation to our neighbors, the 7 Point team has done quite a bit of work for our neighbors and they have all had the same great experience. read more

We turned an old 2-car garage into a slick home gym/rec room - about a 14K job. They were amazing. From the initial discussions and development of line budget I was comfortable with, a couple changes along the way, to the final product - 100% satisfied. The workers were timely, polite, cleaned up everything, everyday. Demo was fast. they stayed on schedule. so many small touches (they put my stereo wiring in the walls/ceiling without being asked!). We've remodelled a kitchen, bathroom, and put in a pool over the years and this crew was the best we've ever worked with. I recommend them without reservation! Andrew W. read more

I had the pleasure of working with 7 Point on a recent home renovation. The work consisted of replacing every interior door and closet door in the house (13+ doors), along with replacing the front entryway door, and replacing all the wood trim around the doors, closets and windows. The project manager assigned to my reno was Ron. He was awesome - super reliable and very responsive to texts and phone calls. Making an appointment was a breeze. I totally forgot my set appointment but I was just 10 mins away from home so I could've gone but they suggested that I make a new appointment, It was my fault so I agreed. They made me wait for 1 hr and 10 min on the 2nd appointment. I am only able to do meet ups during lunch hours so time is big deal for me. Josh came finally. He doesn't show much energy and enthusiam but that's ok. He committed to give the estimate before the week ends. I made several follow ups. And finally they sent me my quote - with my name on it but i guess it was meant for somebody else. I emailed and called the office to inform them about it. I followed up again but still no luck! I have high hopes on working them but they don't seem to value your business. What a waste of time! read more

The words TRUSTING and PROFESSIONAL sum up these guys. They delivered fully on what they had promised remodeling our master bathroom . The process started with Josh coming over to go over the work scope in detail. It then followed by a written quote. They started on time and through capable management of Carlos and the work of his professional crew the work was completed. At each step of the way Carlos made sure work was progressing to our satisfaction. When we ran to a hiccup with one of their subcontractors installing a frameless glass shower door they quickly stepped in and corrected the situation. If you are looking for getting value for the money ( not just saving money in the short run to pay for it later due to poor workmanship) they are the ones you want to go with. I will definitely be a repeat customer for any future project. read more

Showed up for 20 minutes, left for a few hours, showed up for 20 more minutes, left for a few hours. Called the office, they didn't know what was going on or what was happening, and couldn't be bothered with figuring out what was happening. Unprofessional joke is the only thing I can call any company that operates like this. I will never use their service again and would recommend to anyone in the Long Beach area to find literally anyone else for your project. read more

I'd like to start out by saying 7 Point Construction has not done any work for my husband and me. We reached out to them to get a bid on a new build. We have plans for a 2150 square foot home with a detached two-car garage. The plans also call for a small "rec room" attached to the garage. The 7 Point team was very quick to respond when I asked to meet with them to discuss our plans and to get a bid. Their customer service is great. What isn't so great is their pricing. I was sent an estimate for $1M+ excluding finishes. In my opinion, that's very high! My husband and I have received a few bids from contractors in the South Bay (Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, etc.) that were less and included finishes. Sadly, we won't be doing business with 7 Point Construction, even though it seems like they do phenomenal work. read more

I purchased my first home last year and was a little nervous because it was a complete fixer upper. Lucky for me, I found 7 Point Construction. I met with Josh and he was very knowledgeable and professional. He provided the creative vision that a first time home owner lacks. I was amazed by the things 7 Point Construction did that I never thought was possible. From knocking down walls to have a open concept floor plan; to moving the laundry room to the garage; adding a door to access the garage from inside the home; to completely changing the entire layout of the kitchen and bathroom; changing the wood burning fireplace to gas; enlarging the closet space in 2 rooms; and adding recess ceiling with LED. I couldn't be happier with the quality of work Josh and his crew did. I want to thank 7 Point Construction for turning a house into my home. read more

This company is AMAZING. We've dealt with contractors before, and I have to say 7 point is night and day difference compared to our past experiences. Their attention to detail is great, and communication with them is excellent. Whenever we had a question, or a request, they made themselves available. They showed up every day to work, which made us very happy, (again, past experiences weren't good). We had a new patio built, stucco, and stone work done by them, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Our home is on the older side, but they really made it look amazing. They offer suggestions, which we found very helpful, and are all-around professionals. Ron, Josh, Carlos, and Grace in the office are true professionals, and I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a solid, nice looking, professional remodel, addition, update, or just about anything! Great group of people, you won't be sorry! read more

Josh Espinoza and his crew from 7 Point Construction have been a blessing in disguise. I took over a commercial space for remodel into a personal training studio and it looks amazing! The work took 6 weeks total and looks phenomenal.
