I forget his name, but whoever I spoke with was very honest upfront that my pits were too small of jobs for him to work on but he referred me to someone for both pits and the bbq as well. His recommendation was Dan who came out and took a look at all 3 things. I believe Dan is with another company, if he or anyone from this company know please kindly reply to this post and inform what company that is! Dan was fantastic, gave me costs and showed me the issues then and there. He also looked at my pit in my front courtyard and was able to solve the minor issue at no charge, simple fix. I decided I didn't want my backyard fire pit fixed because the front one is much nicer and now that it is fixed I doubt I will ever use the one in my backyard--another project yay. Will have to demo it one day. Dan then fixed the bbq and it now looks incredible and works great. I have since used it a handful of times with no issues. Great company, great communication, honest and fair pricing. Highly recommend. Two thumbs up (Will try to upload pics of bbq before and after soon)

Disappointed with Product Quality and Durability…read more I had high hopes for HB fire pits when I purchased my fireplace, but unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing. After only 1.5 years, the unit has already stopped working properly, which is unacceptable for such an expensive investment. Despite following all maintenance recommendations, I've had issues with burner failure, electrical and remote. When I reached out the owner, he was very unhelpful, unresponsive and extremely rude every time I was able to get hold of him. A fireplace should last much longer than this, and I would not recommend HB FIRE PITS based on my experience. If you're considering purchasing from them, I strongly suggest looking into other options or ensuring you get an extended warranty. Also my next-door neighbor also purchase the same fireplace like mine at the same time, and she's been having many problems with the hardware and the owner. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service from HB fire pits, especially from the owner. When my fireplace started having issues, I reached out for repairs and maintenance, expecting professional assistance. Instead, I was met with rudeness, dismissiveness, and a complete lack of concern for customer satisfaction. Rather than standing behind their product and helping to resolve the problem, the owner was unhelpful and unwilling to take responsibility. Calls and messages were ignored or met with short, unprofessional responses. When I finally did get a response, it was clear they were more interested in avoiding the issue rather than actually fixing it. A company is only as good as its customer service, and unfortunately, HB Fire Pits fails in that regard. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for a fireplace company that actually values its customers and stands behind its products.

Updated Review: 5 Stars UPDATE (Editing my original review…read moreafter service completion): I am officially updating my review because FirePlace 911 truly went above and beyond to make things right. After my initial scheduling frustrations, the business owner, Renzo, personally stepped in. He called me immediately after the job was finished and apologized sincerely multiple times for the previous communication issues. The Results: The actual work performed was fantastic. They completed a full refurbishment that included: - Deep Cleaning: Both the chimney and the fireplace are spotless. - Aesthetic Upgrades: They repainted the interior, making it look brand new. - Smart Functionality: They installed new parts and integrated a wall switch system. Now, as long as the pilot light is on, I can start a fire with a simple flick of a switch. Incredibly convenient for my tenants. The finishing quality is top-tier. Seeing the final product and experiencing Renzo's commitment to customer satisfaction completely changed my perspective. It's rare to find a business that takes feedback this seriously and delivers such high-quality craftsmanship. I now highly recommend FirePlace 911 to anyone needing fireplace experts. Thank you again for the hard work, Renzo! ------------------------------------------- Original Post - Rating: (1/10) I am incredibly disappointed with the lack of professionalism and total disregard for my time shown by Fireplace911. Initially, I was happy to be flexible. We had a Tuesday appointment that they needed to reschedule due to a technician's family emergency. I completely understand that life happens and was happy to accommodate them. However, the experience went downhill quickly from there: * Reschedule #1: We moved the appointment to Friday at 11:00 AM. * Reschedule #2: On the day of, they requested to move the 11:00 AM slot to 2:00 PM. I agreed. * The No-Show: They failed to arrive at 2:00 PM and did not show up until 5:00 PM. This was not just a personal inconvenience; this was for an investment property with a tenant waiting. Because of this company's poor time management and lack of communication, I was forced to apologize repeatedly to my tenant for the delay. There is a fine line between a genuine emergency and simple laziness. Changing a time twice and then showing up three hours late for the second window is unacceptable in a professional setting. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for your fireplace needs.

We cannot recommend Chance and Super Sweep Chimney Service enough!…read moreFrom the very beginning, Chance was professional, kind, and kept us informed every step of the process. There was a delay in manufacturing our custom chimney cap, and instead of leaving us wondering, he proactively kept us updated the entire time. One thing we appreciated most was that he never treated us like we didn't understand. He took the time to explain exactly what was going on inside our chimney, why certain repairs were recommended, and what could happen if they were ignored. Even better, he never pressured us into spending more money. He laid out several options, explained the pros and cons of each, prioritized what was most important, and let us make the decision based on our budget. At no point did it feel like he was trying to make a sale. It truly felt like he was trying to help us make the best decision for our home. We also had a specific vision for our chimney cap. We showed Chance a photo, and he had a custom cap fabricated that matched exactly what we wanted. His measurements were so precise that it fit like a glove, and honestly, it looks incredible. The little things really stood out too. I happened to see one of our nosy neighbors talking to him while he was working. Chance was incredibly kind and gracious, but he also respected our privacy and didn't share details about the work being done. When he needed to use our hose to mix materials, he rolled it back up and put it away exactly where he found it. That may seem like a small thing, but after dealing with so many contractors who leave a mess or treat your property carelessly, those little acts of respect really mean something. Chance is truly a class act. We only wish every contractor operated with the same level of professionalism, honesty, communication, and respect. If you need chimney work done, call Chance of Super Sweep Chimney Service. Five stars all the way.
