They both did a thorough job of inspecting my fireplace and the electrical components beneath it. They probably spent between 30-45 minutes going through it and conferring with eachother. Unfortunately, Greg walked me through his inspection steps and informed me that our townhouse installed a very cheap fireplace system. He further informed me that he would not be able to fix it. So why am I leaving 5 stars? I appreciate their punctuality, thoroughness, and his honesty. Greg informed me that he did not want to make any guesses at the risk of my family. Lastly, and to my surprise, he insisted that I not pay him. From what I gather, many of the chimney sweep services charge you just to inspect your fireplace, regardless of the service they provide.
