Techmaster can get the big job done! We needed a 2 story 1200sf adu done with a lot of custom aspects such as a deck and vaulted ceilings. What stood out is he was one of the few who knows what his crews can do and what value he can bring to the project. He is not a salesman, he didnt promise the world like others, i could see he preferred slab over crawl space for example. His prices were fair and most important he has his own regular people working in most aspects with few exceptions (e.g. solar), not some small outfit subcontracting out of his home or having to maintain a large sales crew or lots of project managers. He keeps his expenses down but has enough to do what you need. If you are looking for a reliable, midrange (not too expensive or big and not too small) general contractor to take on your big project like an adu or 2nd story home, i cannot recommend techmaster enough. Last but not least, he is finishing projects on time. Some of my neighbors have waited months and years past their expected date, we finished construction in 2.5 months (weather and permits went smooth as part of that). read more

I needed a quote to remodel a home I'm hoping to buy, and he went above and beyond. He even sent his engineer to make sure I was choosing the right home--one that could actually be remodeled properly. That level of care meant so much. He was fast, professional, and very accommodating with my busy work schedule. I truly value his experience and guidance, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone knowledgeable and trustworthy. read more

We hired Tech Master Construction to build our ADU. Our first impression right off the bat was great. Angel was very quick in getting us a fair quote and was very informative. Once we signed the contract, his team took over helping us get our initial sketches and responding quickly to all of our questions and keeping us informed every step of the process. After the city approved our plans, they gave us a start date and they were ready to go - no doubt that we picked the right company! All of the different teams worked together; the best way I can describe it is that they were like worker ants. We were amazed at the speed and professionalism of everyone we encountered, They exceeded all expectations!! They finished on time and on budget. I have and will continue to recommend Tech Master Construction to anyone and everyone I know. We've already had a couple friends request quotes; some have already signed a contract with them after seeing the work they completed on our ADU. Their work truly speaks for itself. We did our master bathroom and built an ADU. The service and communication through the process we always a good experience.

I highly recommend Techmaster Construction and Angel for anyone looking for a reliable and professional contractor. They built my ADU and overall I had a great experience working with their entire team. Techmasters crew was excellent. They showed up early, worked hard every day, and even came in on weekends to make sure the project stayed on schedule and the ADU was completed on time. Angel was also very responsive whenever I called him about something, he communicated quickly with his crew and it was taken care of. Every team involved did a great job. From framing, electrical, plumbing, painting, demolition, and cleanup. The entire crew was professional, respectful, and trustworthy, which is very important when you have people working on your property. It's not easy to find a contractor who stands by their word, but Angel and the Techmaster Construction team truly do. I'm very happy with my new ADU and grateful for all the hard work they put into building it. read more

I wish I found Angel and Tech Master Construction earlier in life. His team not only does great work, but is very efficient. My wife and I hired Angel to build our 2nd ADU. His team built this ADU in a 1/3rd of the time it took to build our first ADU. Even though we had some upgrades for Angel to contend with during the build, he never complained and was quick to get back with change order costs. https://youtu.be/tXrDVSpm7Ww?si=8N30ua8ECyTrmEvU read more

Reached out to tech master construction to remodel our fire place and flooring. After meeting with Angel, we decided to move forward with the project. Angel's team were professional, completed the job on time, and it looks great. Just like any remodel project, there's always things that may arise, but Angel was only a phone call away to correct any issues. Just ensure everything is covered from start to completely finished (I.e drywall patching and painting) is in the initial scope of work. I would use them again. read more

Tech Master Construction - Kitchen of the ADU - General Contractors Near Me - Cerritos, California

We chose Tech Master Construction to build our 800 Sq. Ft. 2 bed/2bath ADU. And it was the best decision we could have made! From the beginning they showed how knoweledable they were and always had our best interest in mind. Our plans/design were made by a different contractor so when we broke ground and started getting into the details of our ADU they caught some design flaws and instead of just building to what the plans showed, they asked us if that was accurate because it was not designed to their standards. I am so glad they did because those design flaws no matter how big or small make a huge difference. Also, it shows they really take pride in their work. We are so happy we chose them! Their whole team was awesome and very transparent and easy to get a hold of for any questions, concerns, updates, or doubts. I would recommend Tech Master 10 out of 10 times, everytime! read more

Tech Master Construction recently converted our two car garage into a one bedroom ADU. Angel and his workers were great to work with. He answered all my questions promptly and was always a text or call away for any concerns I may have. Tech Masters quote was extremely fair and lower than other contractors I had received estimates from and they stayed within budget and the time frame they gave us. Blanca who works in the office also did a great job staying in communication with us and keeping us updated. Let me start by saying that the five star review is based on overall experience. I assure you that you will be pleased with your remodel. Techmaster Construction uses a plethora of highly skilled individuals, all masters in their own services. So let me break it down a little, along with some pros and cons, and some helpful advice. INITIAL PLAN- Angel V listens to your plan, then provides a computer-generated scheme, complete with costs. TIP: BE VERY SPECIFIC. LEAVING OUT EVEN A TINY DETAIL WILL BE AN ISSUE LATER. DEMO- Demo is fast and efficient. TIP: COVER/REMOVE EVERYTHING. IT'S DUSTY! EXECUTION: These guys are the top of the line experts, notably Marcelino and his uncle, also Marcelino. For electrical, we had the master Don Luis. He is magical, and reminds me of "the cleaner" in Toy Story, lol! *CON: I paid for a FULL REWIRE, but the switch in the hallway still isn't changed, and the dimmer switch was NOT installed in my dining room. This falls back on Techmaster to make it right. FINISHED PRODUCT: it's a total transformation, and only WE can see imperfections. Our visitors love it, but little things bother me. For example, the countertop guy chipped the brand new drawer. Techmaster should've CHANGED the drawer front. That chip really makes me upset on a daily basis. Angel should replace the front because it was HIS guy that chipped it. Also, the flooring pops up in front of my door, so someone thought it would be okay to put little nails into the seams where it interlocks. That didn't work. Now I have holes in my brand new floor. But my biggest issue is that Angel did NOT include the tile behind the range hood in the original estimate (remember what i said about being specific?) This was unacceptable to me, so he had the tile guy put the tile where it's supposed to go, then he hit me with a $450 EXTRA CHARGE! It was about $150 worth of work. He did not disclose the upcharge until the final bill. NOT COOL. Had he quoted that, I would've used my own tile guy. As a kicker, the grout is cracking between the tile and the countertops. I think they'll come back to fix it soon. So why the great review? Because the entire crew is honest, trustworthy, and earned my respect. Not ONCE did I ever feel uncomfortable with the workers being alone in my home.. And in the end, I love the result! read more

The first time I met Tech Master Construction, I knew they were the one. They worked in a very fast manner and always had people working on my house. My project was probably one of the smaller ones they had, but they treated us like all other projects. As a homeowner, the biggest fear is that the contractor would show up one day and disappear for a week or worse never comeback. However, they are not those type of contractors. They show up and work everyday and always keep us up to date. Their communication was very clear and concise and a very honest contractor. I have referred them to a few friends and family before my project even completed, they are that good . read more

The company slogan is we build trust. If they don't show up or call on the initial appointment for an estimate how can I trust them throughout a project. Thank you for the reply. Your response is not true. Please don't try to make me the bad guy here.I called her at 10am stating that I'm no longer interested in doing business with the company. She returned my call stating that you were running late. I said that I was no longer interested.I have the phone records to prove this if you would like me to send them to you. I waited a week for an estimate. The least that you could have done is to make a phone call stating that you were running late. read more

After working with a different company and having four months, wasted and money, we decided to give Tech Masters a try and they definitely delivered. When it comes to building from the ground up, Tech Masters understands the permit process blue print expectations and working with clients to come up with a great design. No matter what stage we were at Angel was available. We could text him, ask questions and make changes that were permissible throughout our build. If you want a design team, this may not be the company, so make sure that you know what you want ahead of time so you can have all of your features ordered and ready for install. You can work easily with the crew and with Angel to ensure that you get the right amount of products, and that the design will come together in a way that you want it. Our ADU is incredible and we feel very happy to have had it done by such a professional team. We are not new to construction and have worked with other contractors, they went above and beyond our expectations. The only con is that they don't have a landscape team, so as beautiful as the house is, curb appeal is lacking. Knowing ahead of time, just make sure to hire landscapers along with your build. All in all, I would highly recommend this company. read more
