More than five stars!…read more Succinctly, we met with three or four companies to get an estimate all of whom were pleasant but, somehow, did not seem as though they were listening to what we wanted. It was different with Ammar of Kitchen Cabinet Express, Inc. After a brief introduction and a short discussion of our intentions, he got right to the point, walking with my wife, measuring and making notes and asking questions. What resulted was a reasonable estimate for the work to be done and a plan and drawings that exactly reflected our wishes. The deadline for completion was originally set for the middle of March 2026 but was completed two weeks early. Members of Ammar's team and contractors were professional, conscientious, and hard working. They showed up on time, accomplished what was scheduled for each day. As work progressed, we desired some minor changes which Ammar and his team were very flexible and responsive in accomplishing professionally and quickly. At every point - daily work and especially at the conclusion - the site was cleaned up immaculately and all detritus was hauled away instantly. Also, a great deal of care was taken to mask, cover, and protect the house, furniture, and existing fixtures from the dust and soiling that was occasioned by the remodeling work! This review is being written a month after completion as we wanted to take our time to let the "newness" wear off and appraise the overall experience. After this time for evaluation, we find the craftsmanship flawless, the cabinets and showers and baths installed beautifully and -- overall -- the incorporation into our existing home has greatly upgraded the whole affair. All in all, the results exceeded our expectations! We highly recommend Ammar and his team and, once settled, we will be having him back to take care of additional projects we'd like to accomplish.

KCE was recommended to us by a friend and I am SO glad we chose to work with them for our remodel!…read moreMy husband and I bought a house and the master bed/bath needed major work. We spoke with other contractors, but nobody had a vision for our space like Ammar did. He suggested designs, gave different options, and answered all of our questions along the way. We ended up having Ammar and team replace our roof and floor throughout the house as well. They offer a digital rendering of your space during the design presentation which absolutely helped us visualize the remodel. They also offer financing which was fantastic! The work is all so beautiful, I can't believe it's the same house. We will absolutely be working with them again in the future to renovate our kitchen!

Horizon also replaced cabinets in the dining room, removed blinds, and patched and painted several rooms. David was our project manager. I highly recommend working with both Horizon and David. He provided an accurate estimate for the work, started and completed the work on time, and was always pleasant and responsive when I had questions. It was my first experience with a kitchen remodel and David proved to be patient and kind, never making me feel like my questions were silly or naive. He responded to all of my texts promptly and delivered on every one of my requests. The craftsmen employed by Horizon were professional and skilled. They did a fantastic job, and cleaned up as they went along. Horizon also operates a showroom in Fullerton, so I was able to see options in situ, not just small samples. David and everyone I met in the showroom were knowledgeable and friendly. They listened to me, made a real effort to understand my aesthetic, and then made great suggestions. The entire process from beginning to end (3 months to the day) went just about as smooth as one could hope for such a large project. When it comes time to remodel our bathrooms, I will be calling Horizon again!

We started to lay the new laminate flooring I had gotten from Home Depot and ran into a number of problems. This might look easy but unless you have experience with floor installation, it can be very difficult and challenging. We struggled along for a few days until my brother had to go back home up north. The next day I continued by myself for a few hours before I broke down and decided there was no way I could finish this job without help. That's when I called Affordable Floor Installation. Mor was in charge and he was just great. He assessed my situation and complimented me on my progress so far. He was being kind. He and his workers Mauricio and Bayron assured me they could finish up the job and have it done by the end of the day and that they did. They were professional, safe, courteous and attentive to every nook and cranny of my floors. They even installed new baseboards for me as well. The end result is that my house looks fantastic. I can't thank Mor and his crew enough. The bottom line is Affordable Floor Installation is just that. Affordable, honest, reliable, professionals who care about their work and their customers. I recommend this company highly and will definitely be using them again to do our floors in the master bedroom and baby's room.

They pulled a fast one and when I went to pick up my flooring none of it was in the original boxes, the reason they did this, it seems, is because it was the wrong flooring and their installer installed it and I didn't realize it until it was already in that was the wrong finish. They swore they checked every plank it was the exact same thing but it turned out that was a lot of crap. I strongly urge you to look elsewhere unless you love dealing with giant headaches and being misled. Attached are screenshots of my conversation with one of the inept children there. Unreal. 9/26/18-after four days of silence after proposing a remedy to the situation I texted her again yesterday to follow up and you'll see from the additional 4 screenshots that I'm adding her not so professional way of handling the situation. So basically they've screwed me out of a lot of money and I'm left with a bad non-matching floor. I strongly urge you to consider any other flooring distributor but these guys. Unless you like run around, conflict, dishonesty and zero communication.
