Ambiance is warm and relaxed. Happy Hour offers some nice choices, and is twice per day every day as is the norm in this tourist town. The inside of the shop was tiny and they have what I would consider a small to medium size menu. They have knickknacks that you can buy ice cream and different Beavertail flavors that you can choose from. The people taking your order were fast. They have seen all the people in the world because they take your order and move you on, you are never waiting long for that hot crispy goodness.

They had a flavor called "mEHple" and since maple syrup is also a Canada staple, we figured this would be a good pick. What we didn't notice was the chocolate drizzle that was on top of the maple syrup in the menu photo. The chocolate overwhelmed the entire dessert, and was a bit too much for our group. The pastry was good, crispy and flaky, but we really couldn't get through the entire thing without getting a huge bite of chocolate syrup. I think if they had put less chocolate, or even removed the chocolate altogether and just left the maple syrup, that would've been way better!
