Avocado Toast

Located in a shopping center is Cacao 70 a solid brunch spot as well as if you are craving a sweet treat in the afternoon. I went with 3 of my friends around noon time and was able to grab a table without any issues. The restaurant was spacious and clean. You order at the counter and the staff will bring it to your table. However there's no number system so you may need to flag them down while they have your food. Nonetheless the service was great and the host took the time to provide some recommendations. I opted for the avocado toast and added the scrambled egg on the side. It tasted good but nothing special about it. The tomato soup was better than I expected and was piping hot with lots of flavors. Cacao 70 is a solid pick if you are in the area, I'd come back to try some of their sweet treats

For our last brunch in Canmore, we went to Cacao 70. The fondue looked delicious in the photos and we had to order it. It came with a variety of fruits and brownies. The smaller size was perfect to share amongst 4 people. Avocado toast and coffee were good. I liked that they had all the condiments on the tables, including peanut butter, jams, and maple syrup. Plenty of parking in the complex.

We were recommended this place by someone local to Canmore and we were very excited to try. The place is located in the shops of Canmore which usually has lots of parking. We ordered multiple things at the kiosks. Avocado Toast had an interesting twist with a Hummus layer between bread and avocado. Next, dark chocolate fondue was very well presented and the chocolate wasn't too sweet which was perfect. Veggie Wrap had pesto in it but there was a lot of leakage from it making it difficult to eat. The taste was so-so. The potatoes were also served at room temperature. Last thing, coffee didn't have any latte art on it and it was extremely hot. I recommend Barista's to measure temperature very seriously and not to go above the recommended threshold (usually 60'c) unless explicitly requested. 3.5 for this place but I'll give a 3.

Located near our friends place it looks to be a lovely brunch place. Hard chairs not great for long stays but clean space. I tried the coconut banana milkshake. He made it in front of use - coconut syrup, fresh banana, and real vanilla ice cream. It was delicious. Friend asked for a black coffee with cream and they offered him an americano with hot water. It was quite strong and needed double the amount of cream. Definity will be back to try the brunch menu.

Cacao70 Factory Hot Chocolate and Strawberry Cheesecake Crepe

Everything we tried was delicious If that's anything to go by then I'm sure the rest is just as good. Will definitely have to go back and try more while we're in town. I tried the Cacao70 Factory hot chocolate and the Strawberry Cheesecake Crepe. The hot chocolate was an experience in and of itself. The crepe was light and fluffy and tasty. A must try!

Great selection of brunch. Fresh cooked everything and home waffle is the best I have ever tried. Best hot chocolate in town. I think they are part of YYC Hot chocolate fest. Very authentic chocolate fondue, you don't want to miss. Kids love this place great to go when you are in mountain

Went to the Cacao 70 in Canmore. Would not recommend this to anyone. Ordered & payed at the counter, didn't get a receipt, & when someone in my party didn't get everything they ordered & payed for the staff argued with them & they had to pay again for this item. Food came out so fast that there was no way it was freshly cooked. Food wasn't hot & home fries tasted & looked like they were cooked yesterday & just reheated.

"Illegal waffle" - 3/4 waffle with brûléed banana, vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce.

Vegetable wrap and crepes were great. Service was friendly and accommodating! Opening earlier would be a nice plus.

My boyfriend is a huge fan of Japanese food so I knew this spot would be my first suggestion if we…read moreended up in Canmore. We made the drive over from Banff and dropped in for breakfast. There were little reserved placards on all of the tables even though we showed up less than half an hour after they opened so we were nervous about being able to get a table without a wait, but our server simply removed one of the placards and offered us that table. My boyfriend got the bacon and tomato two eggs benedict and I got the omurice. He got the matcha latte and I got the matcha milk tea with boba. Portions were generous for breakfast. The omurice was very much a thoroughly cooked omelette over rice and not the runny type that first popularized the dish on social media, but it was tasty nonetheless. The matcha had a healthy green color to it and a very pleasant taste, and even though it was one of the pricier breakfast experiences we had on our trip it was very much a unique one that we didn't expect to find on our visit to Canada. Our server was very attentive with refilling our waters and knowledgable about the menu when we asked for recommendations. I would totally recommend Wagashi Tea House to anyone looking for authentic Japanese hospitality and food crafted with high-quality ingredients and great attention to detail.

It's set inside a greenhouse, so you get these gorgeous views of the mountains while you eat. The vibe feels very Japanese and chill, and the service is super friendly. The matcha is probably the best you'll find in the area, really smooth and high quality. Their Japanese breakfast is also authentic and delicious. A great place to unwind and take in the scenery!
