This was a nice short walk from my hotel so it was convenient. As this is located in a plaza, there is plenty of free parking in the lot. The restaurant wasn't very big so it may be worth reserving a table on the weekend as I'm assuming that it'd be busy then. Given that it was a weekday, it was not busy at all. We were the only two in there for the first 15 mins. It's self seating and you have to order and pay for your food at the counter, however, they will deliver it to your table. We ordered the mountain hot chocolate, orange juice, savoury waffle (with bacon instead of ham), and the choco-nut waffle. The food was spectacular! They were very generous with the toppings on the waffles. The hot chocolate was decent but a little too sweet for my taste. If I were to get it again in the future I would get it as a dessert same goes for the waffle. The only thing we didn't care for was the orange juice which was watered down. It's quite sweet so perhaps choose one of the spicy ones if you want something a little more balanced, but that's kinda the point when I order hot chocolate personally. Best brunch ever. I had an iced espresso with a sandwich called the Croque Madame?! Where are my savory, mouth-watering photos?!!! It was a very flavorful ham sandwich with triple cheese, and whatever bechamel sauce is. It came with a simple, yet generous dollop of mixed greens, but that is all it needed for such a smorgasbord of flavor. I added hot sauce to it, and mayo and that made it perfect. I went with 3 of my friends around noon time and was able to grab a table without any issues. The restaurant was spacious and clean. You order at the counter and the staff will bring it to your table. However there's no number system so you may need to flag them down while they have your food. Nonetheless the service was great and the host took the time to provide some recommendations. I opted for the avocado toast and added the scrambled egg on the side. It tasted good but nothing special about it. The tomato soup was better than I expected and was piping hot with lots of flavors. For our last brunch in Canmore, we went to Cacao 70. The fondue looked delicious in the photos and we had to order it. It came with a variety of fruits and brownies. The smaller size was perfect to share amongst 4 people. Avocado toast and coffee were good. I liked that they had all the condiments on the tables, including peanut butter, jams, and maple syrup. Best hot chocolate I've ever had. Praline Rocky Road is my favorite. We loved their savory omelette. Stacked beautifully and tasted delicious. The strawberry spinach salad with goat cheese was fresh and delicious. Service was great. Nice energy, helpful and attentive. We will be back. read more

Located near our friends place it looks to be a lovely brunch place. Hard chairs not great for long stays but clean space. I tried the coconut banana milkshake. He made it in front of use - coconut syrup, fresh banana, and real vanilla ice cream. It was delicious. Friend asked for a black coffee with cream and they offered him an americano with hot water. It was quite strong and needed double the amount of cream. Definity will be back to try the brunch menu. read more

We were recommended this place by someone local to Canmore and we were very excited to try. The place is located in the shops of Canmore which usually has lots of parking. We ordered multiple things at the kiosks. Avocado Toast had an interesting twist with a Hummus layer between bread and avocado. Next, dark chocolate fondue was very well presented and the chocolate wasn't too sweet which was perfect. Veggie Wrap had pesto in it but there was a lot of leakage from it making it difficult to eat. The taste was so-so. The potatoes were also served at room temperature. Last thing, coffee didn't have any latte art on it and it was extremely hot. I recommend Barista's to measure temperature very seriously and not to go above the recommended threshold (usually 60'c) unless explicitly requested. 3.5 for this place but I'll give a 3. read more

Stopped by for breakfast. Service was friendly and set up is cute! Food was pretty good. I ordered the "Illegal waffle" which was tasty. They did an amazing job with the bananas - they were perfectly brûléed - perfect thickness of the caramelized sugar, just enough to be crispy, and not thick enough to get stuck in your teeth or hard to cut through. Paired nicely with the ice cream (yes, for breakfast, yum). The waffle was soft and slightly bland (but that could balance out sweetness from other components) - I would have preferred it Belgian styled with a bit of crunch but soft interiors, or with a tiny bit of salt or butter to bring out egg flavors within the waffle...and for some reason they only give 3/4 of a waffle, which seemed a little unusual to me. I got a hot chocolate which was good as well - great contrast of hot and cold again with the whipped cream, and not too sweet which was nice. There is a slight bitter after-taste which is probably because it with real chocolate that was melted down! Presentation for my breakfast was beautiful as well. Husband got the meat omelet. Omelet itself was fine flavor-wise. The home fries/potatoes that came with it were cold and undercooked/slightly raw/crunchy on the inside though. A bit bland as well.
