Superb spot for Cajun food. DaVita greeted me with enthusiasm and was happy to make recommendations from the menu. It was difficult to pick because everything sounded good! I ended up going with the crawfish etouffee. Came with a praline cornbread which was much better than I thought it was gonna be. The crawfish etouffee came out piping hot. Crawfish was perfectly tender and tasted super fresh. It was cooked well with a nice roux of good consistency and great flavors. Portion size was very filling and it was priced fairly. We just experienced the best Cajun food in the valley. My husband and daughter had the shrimp po boy and crayfish & linguini and raved about both dishes. I couldn't make up my mind so Davina produced a sampler platter of gumbo, jambalaya and etouffee. All seasoned to perfection. This place is the real deal. I just had some of the best Linguine Crawfish pasta in my life. If you are looking for comfort food then this is the only place you need to go. My boss found this restaurant and decided I needed to try it since I have been out of the office for a few months and let me tell you this, you will not be disappointed. The crawfish and the crab meat that was on the pasta was amazing. Perfectly seasoned and still piping hot when it arrived at my desk. And to top it off the banana pudding they have has to be made by an angel. The texture was amazing and delightful to the palate. An let's not forget the beignets, fluffy like pillows and here's a Pro hack, put the Banana pudding on the beignet and just enjoy. Came up from Tucson and just checked my phone to see what breakfast food was in my area and this place came up. Its a small place in a strip mall but the service was amazing. The owner came to chat with us and gave us the history of the business. The food was amazing, and we were quite surprised by the huge omelets. Two of us had the Cajun omelet and a side of grits with cheese. Another in our party had Cajun Chicken & Waffles. The Praline Cornbread hit the meal off just right! Next time we will try Shrimp & Grits, Seafood Mac-N-Cheese and the Quad Bowl - 1/4 lb each of shrimp, mussels, clams and crawfish in spicy Cajun garlic sauce. read more

came to this strip mall looking for croissants and found out apparently the same place also serves up some MEAN cajun food. food portions were generous (easily enough to share), food was delicious, and service was polite and friendly. not to mention the croissants are homemade and also delicious! this is the type of place we need more of in the east valley! we will definitely be coming back. read more

The food quality is excellent, authentic, and quite varied in their extensive menu. The only problem was that is was hard to find, even in the parking lot of the restaurant using Google Maps. Their main sign has the word Crossaints in big letters, leading us to believe it was a bakery, not a restaurant. We will now be going back on a regular basis, we would love to see this place be successful. But they may want to change their signage so they can be more apparent to everyone.
