They also have a parking garage making it easy to find parking. I had come during the weekday around lunch time for a cup of coffee and to work. There was quite a handful of customers. Their service is pretty fast. Their items are a bit on the pricey side. I had ordered: Bene Egg Toast & Iced Vanilla Latte. The Bene Egg Toast: I don't think this was worth the price. It came with a toast, egg & some sprinkled bacon. It also had some greens for decoration. It wasn't very flavorful. It's pretty but won't be buying again. Iced Vanilla Latte: Tasted pretty standard. Food: I ordered the EARL GREY CAKE and the PEACH MOJITO. The cake was honestly the best cake I think I ever had. It had a crunchy layer in the middle and was not overly sweet at all. At $8.95, what you get does not match the price point, especially since a ham croissant variety is offered at the same price. It was akin to a costco croissant. Honestly this placed fits more of a 3 star level but I don't want to punch down too hard on this small business. I feel like this is the perfect place to go to if you plan to bring your laptop and work here and you live within walking distance. They were definitely backed up when I went on Saturday morning with only two staff so I won't knock them for that but the price for what I would consider a small is just not worth it. The flavor is good though so I'll happily drink their coffee if it was presented to me freely. The presentation was pretty, but coffee tasted more bitter than other cafes I've visited. I found the cup difficult to finish. I would say the price is not worth it considering the taste and smaller-sized portion. Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich Came toasted with a side of what I believe is supposed to be a small portion of salad (maybe arugula with a dressing). I found the sandwich to be tasty as well as the salad, but would have wanted at least a few more leaves of greens with it since the salad filled less than ¼ of the plate :( The best part about my experience was that I found this to be the perfect set-up for getting work done/studying: natural lighting, tons of seating options, long service hours, some outlets, and great wifi. The location is right off the corner of a busy street and the parking was a bit annoying since it's right underneath a bunch of apartment buildings. I think both cakes were decent quality and tasted pretty good. They were $6.99 each, which is a little more expensive than what I expected since they were tiny. The cream puff was light and airy, and the vanilla custard wasn't too sweet either. However, the waffle was far too sweet and the texture was really hard, even though it was hot and I thought it was going to be freshly made. Not sure if this was just reheated and the toppings were just thrown on top, but I was not a fan. It wasn't anything special, especially for the hefty price for such a small portion. However, based on the spicy chicken and teriyaki chicken sandwich... it was not good. The chicken is not fresh, has a mushy and slimy texture, and isn't fun to eat. The sauce on the spicy chicken sandwich I actually found good. It wasn't too spicy and it was almost sweet. It's also a really good place to work remote as there is a lot of seating, outlets, and tables. The wifi also does not have a limit so you can stay there for a while. I planned on running some errands in the area. Instead of my usual Peet's - Milpitas pit stop, I decided to try a different coffee shop for a quick bite and beverage to-go. When I used to go into the office, I would pass by Caffe Bene on the way to work everyday for years. It only took a pandemic to get me to finally try the place. I came in around 10:30am on Saturday. It was pretty quiet as a only a few guests were hanging around outside enjoying their orders. There was no one in line ahead of me, so ordering was a breeze. Customer service was fine. The batista was very friendly, and she was patient with me while I was being indecisive. My drink came out fast, but my food took a lot longer than I anticipated. I wasn't in a rush though, so it wasn't necessarily an issue for me. Unfortunately the one thing I wanted, which was the mushroom and cheese croissant, wasn't available. They apparently didn't have mushrooms ready at the time. I opted for the Bene egg toast with cheese instead of bacon. The Bene egg toast was simply a thin slice of buttered bread with an over easy egg and topped with mozzarella cheese and herbs. This was like $6.25, $6.50 or something around that there, which I found to be pretty ridiculously expensive for what it's worth. I could've made the exact same thing at home this morning. Somehow I had the expectation that the Bene egg toast used the large Texas toast looking bread slices that were on display, but nope! On the flipside, I did enjoy my iced lavender latte with oat milk. I thought that it had a nice, subtle lavender flavor. I would definitely get this again. read more

If you're not a fan of windows, theres also a designated area just for you. The barista that took our order was very helpful. A lot of the seats in the center of the cafe don't seem to have outlets. Definitely will come back, but I'm probably going to try a different drink. The waffle was really good! It was warm & crispy buy fluffy on the inside. My friend asked for her food for here, but it strangely came in a takeaway box and cup. The cashier was not too friendly, and yelled at customers often. But overlooking that, the vibes of the cafe itself are cute, the ambiance is lovely! Parking was easy to find, the parking garage around the corner is for retail and restaurant parking, and it wasn't too busy. My first time trying Caffe Bene and it was honestly so so so good! I got the Mocha Frappe ($6.95), Ham and Egg Sandwich ($12.75), and the Ham and Cheese Croissant ($8.95). The service was pretty good and the food came out relatively quick however I do think the prices a re a little bit on the pricier side. I really liked the Mocha Frappe however i think for the size of it and the presentation of it it wasn't worth the $6.95. However I did really enjoy their foods it was so good and I definitely will be coming back for the ham and cheese croissant. The layout of the inside is much better than the drinks themselves. The main issue I have with this place is their prices. I get it; it's located in a heavy real estate business intersection where it's surrounded by tech companies but the prices are outrageous. We ordered two mint cold brew lattes for $6 each. I saw how they're made and it's not even made authentic. I saw the barista pour black cold brew from this ready-made juice jug. They don't even use heavy cream which sucks. I do like how they have Asian style waffles with ice cream on top to pair with your coffee. They also serve sandwiches which is nice. The prices are just way too high here for me when the drinks are either syrup/powdered base or instant. I give this cafe a C+ for what it is. If you're wanting to come down to study or read, then this would be a great place to do that but everything else is just blah. read more
