There's not a ton of great food options in Machester (yet!) but this is definitely a solid one! Even if you don't eat here, I highly recommend going for the vibes alone. Plenty of space to study, work, etc. but also socialize and get a good reliable lunch. Nowhere near as expensive as most places in Richmond and I could honestly eat a whole truck-ful of those homemade chips! Looking for something quick, easy, and light - this is your spot. Also the workers are so approachable and friendly! Made some great recommendations.

Upstairs area. Very cute and quaint. Good for meetings, groups etc.

Beautiful little place! Great atmosphere, staff is wonderful. Fast service. Coffee was amazing. Will be coming back again. Next day: went back had a bacon, egg, cheese on a toasted croissant. Sorry I don't have a picture, I ate it all before I realized I didn't take a pic. It was DELICIOUS and devoured fast. Had a great big cup of dripped coffee with oat milk. Perfection. 2 days in a row and I am enjoying starting my vacation mornings with coffee and breakfast here. Definitely need to try this place if you are in the area.

This is a great local sandwich shop in Manchester. Had a Mayo Bridge; which is a BLT. Comes with fresh made chips and a pickle. What a good sandwich perfect lunch spot! Better than any chain franchise. Let's support our local businesses friends!

I came by here for just a quick coffee drink on a rainy day. It's not my first time here, but first time leaving a review. If you want a drink that makes you actually say "wow that's fantastic" then I would recommend going with their dirty chai (2 shots) latte. They have all kinds of great drinks that tempted me, letting me know I'll have to make a few returns to check out the full array of deliciousness. The menu is also pretty awesome looking, with a variety of sandwiches, salads, and other tasty fare. The cafe must have been converted from a garage with a large roll-up bay door, but they have made it feel like a great cafe experience with decor, live plants, and interesting art. They also have locally made kombucha, which I am excited to try later on today. Definitely a place worth checking out here in the heart of the Manchester District

A neighborhood cafe that makes you feel at home. I love stopping in for a fresh sandwich and iced tea, but also love their coffee. Nice people and owners who really care about their community and quality. It's hard to find a place to sit outside for lunch in this neighborhood - but they have an awesome patio!

So glad my friend introduced me to this cafe. I got an americano and my fiancé got black coffee. Both were standard. My friend got a lavender latte which was very good. We each got something different to eat, all of which was tasty. I got the 7th street sandwich (asked for the bread to be toasted). The blackened Mayo was so yummy. I also love that they had ample seating both inside and out. They seemed to be short staffed so service was slow but we didn't mind, staff was very sweet and worked as fast as they could.

Café Zata was the first restaurant we visited when we moved to Richmond. We went for breakfast & didn't want to venture too far from home. We ordered the corned beef hash, a Mediterranean omelet & a breakfast bowl with bacon. Idk if we were just super hungry but the food was amazing. Was everything we needed to refuel before unpacking. Caramel latte was also great! Service was a little slow but so attentive but that's expected, there were only 2 people working, we didn't mind.

The french toast was delicious! It has a sweet glaze and fresh blueberries on top. The veggie omelette was ridiculously good! I could drink the sauce that came on top of it because it's that good lol. My friend had the salmon cakes, breakfast potatoes and turkey bacon and enjoyed it. I was quickly seated and the staff member was very pleasant; all smiles. While the playlist was excellent, the music was blasting so loud, my friend and I had to shout at each other throughout our entire visit. We ordered the white sangria and the chicken tenders with French toast. Unfortunately, the sangria was extremely sweet and warm. After an hour & a half, we were told that our food was given to another table. Once we received our food, 1hr & 45 minutes after ordering, we were disappointed to find the chicken tenders were extremely salty and the French toast was so sweet, covered in melted sugar. We took a couple of bites and then asked for the check. The waitress stated she took 30% off for our inconvenience but, sadly, this was false. After paying $80 for 2 orders of French toast and 2 cocktails, we were left with a truly poor brunch experience.

All of the flavors that you'd look for in a well prepared Bolognese. I was thoroughly pleased Other dishes: Special: Steak with glazed rainbow carrots and stringed beans. Beyond that hiccup, the drinks (the Tiger's Eye and the Flight of the Bumblebee ) were excellent, the fried oysters were a standout starter, and entrees including the pasta Bolognese, steak special and bone-in pork chops were all very satisfying; the kid's chicken fingers and fries were a hit with our nephew. The decor and the ambiance are invigorating & soul soothing concurrently. On both occasions I ate in the upstairs dining area & I really enjoyed being able to look out their windows & observe the hustle & bustles of Broad Street while dining. The music that played in the background while we dined was the perfect aural companion to a down home Southern cuisine centered meal. As you know, I love when the music in the restaurant compliments the cuisine & Lillie Pearl's playlist is top notch. During our dining time, we ordered their Smoked Wings as our appetizer. The wings were perfectly seasoned & visually appealing. However, I found them to be a bit dry & overcooked for my taste. My dining companion, however, had no problem with the wings texture. She enjoyed them very much. For my main meal, I ordered their Wild Game Burger[a mixture of Waygu Beef, Bison & Wild Boar] with a side order of Fries. The burger was cooked perfectly. It was well seasoned & juicy. The fries were delicious. They were crispy and also perfectly seasoned. I could have eaten a whole plate of just the fries alone. I ordered a cocktail to complement my meal, the Sweetest Thing. It was bright, crisp & a perfect drink for my food. As for Customer Service, Our server was courteous & attentive & knowledgeable about any menu changes we needed to be aware of. Also of note for me was that I had a reservation I needed to change to an earlier time slot & the staff was able to accommodate my request expediently. I also appreciated the fact that they informed me in advance that they were still on the Lunch menu & not dinner as my initial reservations had requested. I find that type of honesty & transparency refreshing & is definitely one of the reasons I will ALWAYS be a loyal Lillie Pearl customer.

This is the restaurant in the lobby of the Omni, and their room service menu has a really solid variety. Appetizers, soups and salads, sandwiches, fish, chicken, steak, seafood, other meat options, plus plenty of sides and desserts. There's something for whatever mood you're in. For my appetizer I ordered the fried green tomatoes. I'm very picky about fried green tomatoes because if they're not done right, they can be greasy and heavy. These were not. They were thick wedges of firm green tomatoes in a light batter, stacked with a spread of pimento cheese and finished with a drizzle of honey. The balance of savory and sweet worked really well, and the texture was exactly what I look for -- crisp outside, tender yet firm inside. For my entrée I chose the roasted lamb rack. It came as two double ribs over a sweet potato purée that had a subtle hint of cinnamon -- really nice flavor without being overpowering. The lamb was cooked to the right temperature, juicy and tender, with a light chimichurri and vegetables alongside. I also ordered the grilled corn succotash as a side -- corn, beans, and tomato. It was fresh and bright and complemented the richness of the lamb perfectly. This is my second time dining here. The first time I had breakfast out on the Westham Porch, and both experiences have been very pleasant.
