    Billiards table

Staying at the Omni and decided to eat dinner at the Westham Tavern in the hotel. I sat at the bar and ordered dinner. I am a sucker for any dish with Old Bay seasoning, and the Shrimp & Grits with Old Bay sauce was outstanding. The bartender (Roy) was on top of his game. A number of the hotel guests sat at the bar for dinner, and he took orders quickly and the food came out quickly. The restaurant definitely has a tavern vibe. They even have a billiards table.

Some was great some not so much. We ordered the crab dip as an appetizer and the crab wasn't super fresh and the dip lacked flavor. My boyfriend had the flatbread bbq pizza which was also flavorless but my boyfriend liked it. The drinks were good but I usually like to try a different second drink but didn't because it took a very long time to get service although the servers were very friendly, our first server had to leave for training-?? Then we sat for awhile. I did like my dinner, the slider trio, one chicken, the best of the three, one burger and one crab cake. I was expecting the crab to again not taste fresh but with the bun and aioli I couldn't tell. I liked the buns the best, very soft and fresh. My boyfriend had a burger which he liked but the fries tasted like the oil was very old. We had a s'more for dessert and it was eh again kind of flavorless.

    Biscuits and Gravy

We stayed in the Omni during a recent weekend getaway from DC. The hotel was fine, nothing to write home about..however the attached restaurant Westham Tavern was incredible. We ordered room service the first night and got the Burger, Chicken sandwich, and some kids menu items. Outside some fancy resorts and the burger at the Four Seasons in Georgetown, this is without a doubt the best "room service burger" I've ever had. The food was incredible, period. We ate there for breakfast the following day, and it was amazing..the fanciest biscuits and Gravy I've ever had. I know Richmond has lots of options for hotels and restaurants...but the next time we go back we will stay here just because of the attached Westam Tavern.

It was like having a little nook all to ourselves ! Great food, great service, awesome ambiance…read more All cushioned seats and so cozy. Everything on the menu was a 5, okay I make my own gravy and it wasn't that (but it was good, and a little salty but very good with the bangers and mash. ) Bangers & mash very good! Burger very good! Jalapeño poppers awesome. The curry fries with chicken tenders and onions will blow your mind with flavor. Wow on the reubin and the turkey avocado sandwiches. Had a waitress that laughed. Had a great time.

Initially intended to grab brunch across the street but wandered over here instead…read more Overall, the vibe is very on brand. Liverpool was playing and I imagine it's a great space to watch this if that's your speed. Sunday lunch menu had a good mixture of things. I was drawn into the special, which was a pork belly quiche with Irish cheese and green onions. This was ultimately quite fine. Big quiche fan but this wasn't my favorite crust nor my favorite cheese. And if I hadn't been told there was meat in it I'm not sure I would have noticed. The side salad had a nice balsamic dressing. What was most bothersome, though, was the size of the quiche. It was cheap enough but not really a lunch potion. Wish I had gone with a sanwich. Drinks were good-pretty standard. The service was astounding and everyone was so nice. Probably wouldn't come back for the food but if you want to watch some football (soccer) it's a nice option.
