We had a chicken salad and coffee and tea, and all were fabulous! The chicken salad had very fresh greens, walnuts, etc. and a very flavorful tarragon dressing. Recently discovered this place and I'm so glad I did (my waistline perhaps not so much). Either way, I love this place! They have really great looking cakes, Pastries, savory foods and coffee/lattes. Prices seem to be in line with the area. I haven't tried the cakes, but I've tried several pastries, including the long one with chocolate chips (starts with an F), the Pistachio croissant and the small savor breakfast croissants and everything is delicious and light. I'm surprised that I have never posted a review of this place, but it is absolutely wonderful. My boyfriend and I frequent this adorable little cafe. I moved to Bergen County about a year ago from California, and one thing I have missed the most would have to be the coffee shops. Coming to Cafe Trois has made that much easier for me! They make some of the most delicious lattes I've ever tried. They have an amazing brunch menu, and some really delicious pastries as well. This is only part of the reason this place is so great. Their staff is so wonderful! They are always so nice to me & they work so hard--it is a big reason as to why I keep coming back. Pre-COVID, I would come and order brunch with some coffee and sit in their cafe, which was always really fun to do. Hopefully we can get back to that soon! read more

I went there to join my great aunt...I shared half sandwich avocado with egg (very tasty & generous avocado portion) the bread was so hard to cut & was very chewy...After finishing I ordered coffee Mocha & too pieces of pastries...only one order was in front...but I waited until they received their order...and 3 more order of people that ordered after me...after asking I was told my coffee was still not ready..."I'll make it now" she said...I said don't bother just give me refund...BTW, I witnessed other unhappy customers...I have to agree that although the Pastries look good...the service is not for those of us that don't have all Morning for coffee... read more

Loved the creme brulee donut, didnt like the creme in the creme puff it seemed stale and the crepe cake needed more flavor,butter, vanilla star anise cinnamon smudge nutmeg or something and the creme was not creamy. The egg salad with the salmon was very good and balanced out my 3 stars. I will try it again for the coffee and some of the other specialty treats but it seemed mediocre and disappointing to french patisserie comparisons. read more

OMG I'm so in love with this place. It's hard to find good restaurants in this area (or North NJ in general) but this is a hidden gem! We stopped here for a quick breakfast and I ended up choosing the chicken chipotle bacon sandwich. The sandwich was amazing. So healthy filled with avocado, tomato, and lettuce but also had the yummy kick with the chipotle sauce and bacon. They have them already made, so it's a great option if you're looking for a quick bite. The coffee was also on point. I would come back just for their coffee. There's a Starbucks nearby but this is a nice alternative. My only concern with this place would be the prices. Don't get me wrong, the food here is great but their price point is on par with NYC, not NJ. Overall, such a cute little cafe with tons of options for food/drinks. Let me start by saying OMG! So ridiculously good! Came for lunch with one of my coworkers since we wanted to try something new and left so satisfied. If you are familiar with the area, this Café is located where Greek Village use to be so you know that parking can be a problem since its small and narrow but totally worth the visit. They have a Brunch Menu that runs from 8:00-3:00pm. We both opted to get the Salmon Platter that came with Salmon, toasted bread, onions, capers and Sunny Side Up Eggs. I'm not a fan of capers so I told them no capers and they remembered...always a plus! We also ordered an Iced Pumpkin Latte and an Iced Chocolate Mocha. These came out before our food and they were pretty standardly good. The star here were our Salmon Platters! Not sure if the picture does it any justice but it was AMAZING! The salmon was fresh, great portion and the toasted bread perfectly baked. We kept dipped the bread into the egg and simply could not get enough of our dish. The place is small and I am sure their baked goods are equally as good. They have plates on the side so you are able to help yourself to their baked items and then pay from what I can tell. They offer their brunch items to go and there is WIFI available if you are looking for a quiet place to get some work done. We went around 12:30pm and you can tell it was rush hour. By 1:00pm, it emptied out but highly recommend trying this place if you are in the area. They are priced on the higher end similar to NY Café prices but the quality of the food is up to par. A very adorable Korean-style inspired cafe both outside and inside. Menu items look a bit expensive at a glance (around $12) but when the food came, it was fantastic! Definitely worth it for the money! You're paying for delicious food, great service, and a very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. This bakery/brunch place is a little gem on a street with pizza and deli shops. They serve assorted pastries, homemade breads, salads and brunch items such as benedict and French toast. My friend and I shared the fruit tart, creme brulee and chocolate cake. The fruit tart was good, the crust was a little dense but the creme was not too sweet. Surprisingly the mangoes were riped (most mango tarts I have had in the past were unsweetened and hard). This tart had mangoes, cherries and strawberries; they worked well together. As much as I love chocolate, I was not a fan of the chocolate cake, not sure if it was the raw cocoa powder on top or the different textures happening. Fluffy cake with chocolate and vanilla cream in the middle; my friend loved it. The creme brulee did not disappoint. Perfect creamy custard with a hard sugar brittle. They also make amazing drinks. The only meat on any of their hot sandwiches is pork (which I don't eat) and they *won't* make any custom sandwiches or substitute food "because it messes up the pricing." The quality seems ok but they are among the least accommodating places I've ever eaten, to the point of being rude, but in that obnoxious way where they know they're being rude so they are excessively fake polite. I have reason not to come back here so I don't think I ever will. If you're looking for hot food, go somewhere better. You can get a better breakfast sandwich literally across the street. Be careful leaving, we couldn't get away fast enough, but their driveway exit is way too steep where it meets the road, so your car will bottom out if you go faster than a crawl. My favorite French bakery/cafe/pastry in town. I tried everything they have on their brunch menu. Everything was fresh, inviting, well presented, colorful, and absolutely delicious. Their French baguette is soft inside and crunchy outside, when you eat it, you really feel to be in Paris. Their clam chowder (only available in cold seasons) is perfectly done, not too thick, not too watery and very tasty. Their pastries and cakes... superbly done, and so so good. Unbelievably delicious - Parisian perfection. Everything they do is fantastic. The coffee is strong and flavorful. The pastries are delicious. The bread is amazing. Really, everything I've had is phenomenal. I'm not much of a bread person, but I had to give the croissant a try. Was definitely worth it, although if you're here for brunch, I recommend going for any of their plate meals. My friend and I each ordered the salmon plate. It seemed like a bit of a gamble, but came out absolutely picture perfect and delicious. The space can get a bit crowded during peak times. There is parking, but it's a bit tight and opens directly onto a main road. Next door to a really wonderful salon, if you're in the market. It's a great street of shops overall. Just saying. Absolutely love this cafe. They have very delicious and tasty looking pastries, scones, tarts and other cookies. Inspired by Korean, Asian and French baking. Their is a fresh breakfast menu full of salmon and other fresh yummy food. I had the half sandwich and French onion soup combo. It was delicious but not too much where I left with food coma. I will say the sandwich can have some more pesto and the French onion soup beef broth can be a little more intense. But something about the light combo is nice because you don't leave feeling gross. Highway robbery.. pastries are all made with Lard which makes it stay fresh longer and smells weird. Charge outrageous prices and staff talks with attitude and keeps looking at the tip jar if you don't tip them. cappuccino is supposed to be foamy and creamy but I got a dry burnt cappuccino. I don't understand why there is so many good reviews. There is a ton of other cafe's and coffee shops in Bergen/Rockland county area which has better drinks and sandwiches. Very disappointed.
