    Iced coffee and a scone
    Maram A.

Very good coffee. It's that simple. Can't walt to try their crepes. Their scone was not good at all, but the coffee reins supreme.

Very cute tiny spot for grabbing coffee on the go. I really love their croissant filled with feta cheese. It's one of the few spots that offers this item. The feta is slightly salty and crust is super flaky... delicious! The bagels are very good as well. Interestingly enough they use the panini press to toast their bagels. It flattens the bagel and you get a nice crunch in every bite. I've yet to try any of their crepes. I'm definitely going back to try those in my next visit.

Banana Mama & 100% Arabica Iced Coffee - This is probably the best crepe place I've ever been to, service was friendly, polite and welcoming. It's a cute little place for locals and visitors, lots of people come here for coffee. It was very busy when I was there. Moving on to the crepes, they were made until golden brown which were perfect. They put lots of fresh fruits and chocolate inside the crepe which were very filling. Their coffee was very rich and flavorful. If you love coffee and have a sweet tooth, I would definitely recommend going to this place. Overall I had a pleasant experience!

This place was always amazing because they make coffee right and very quickly best to go coffee in Astoria! After the lockdown they started giving free mini bottles of water with each coffee, then added little cookies to the order too! It's the little things that add up because the coffee and service is already great, then they added on small gifts that just shows how wholesome they are. I ordered delivery for the first time and they gave me a nounos yogurt with my order! 10/10!!

Canned mushrooms with sausage, egg, Swiss.

The crepes themselves were delicious, but the filling was downright gross. I ordered my crepe with mushrooms, sausage, egg, and Swiss. Mushrooms came from a can, sausage was cut into about four comically massive chunks and tasted awful. For what it was, it wasn't fast or cheap either.

Banana Mama crepe (banana, strawberries, and nutella)

Came straight here after getting some burgers from burger club down the street which by the way have some good burgers. Walked in and its a cramped little spot with about 4 chairs available for seating. Not ideal for more than 2 people. I had ordered a banana mama crepe which brings banana, strawberries, and nutella. There were only two people working there at the time one girl manning the crepes, and the other guy making coffees. I had called him and tried to get his attention but he kind of ignored me. A few minutes go by he finally finishes the coffee and takes my order. Was really grumpy but aside from that very tasty crepe.

Finding this little cafe tucked in around the corner is like finding an easter egg during an egg hunt when you're a kid. A true treasure find. They've got more than 10 variations of good coffee, teas, strong espresso, etc. For food they've got a vast array of baked goods on display (spanakopita, muffins, cupcakes, a bunch of puff pastries, and more). There's an open fridge stocked with cold drinks, and for food, they offer a selection of breakfast sandwiches. What's truly sinful from here are their crepes. They make it right in front of you, and you can go sweet (nutella, banana, add walnuts, biscuits or almonds on top), or you can go salty (cheese, turkey, ham, etc). I went for nutella with banana and walnuts....it's simply divine. You can lounge outside at their tables when the weather's good. The service is most excellent. The place is small and sort of hidden, but it's quality and service really outshines meli and athens. Coming soon...fresh made waffles! And you can substitute organic soy milk in place of cream/milk...a lactard's dream come true.

Little coffee shop with amazing coffee. Frappes and freddo espressos are perfect here! Oreo Nutella crepe is delicious!

Cafe to Go, one of my guilty pleasures. They're quick, they're cheap and the crepes are delicious. My personal favorite is the Banana Mama. Their coffee is also really great. I also love that they're open late. The only down side is that the place is teeny tiny but they have a couple of stools on the inside. They also have limited seating with tables outside for a nice summer day or night. And it's cash only! But don't worry there's a chase right around the corner.

Crêpes. Not really a fan, this is the second time I've ever had it. If you're into the sweet breakfast treat and you're in the area then try cafe to go. I had the black and white crêpe and it was pretty much an 8am sugar rush. They add fresh fruit to the orders and it all seems pretty fresh. It's a small, tight cozy location with a few stools inside and out for you to enjoy.

They have a table to pickup preorders so you don't have to wait in the main line. I ordered a dozen for $39. You can select your assortment. Here's my review in order from the best to the least desirable, according to our group. Vanilla custard- the filling was thick and speckled with vanilla beans. It wasn't too sweet. This was the best according to our group. Strawberry filled- this is most traditional and Breads Bakery does a nice job. The jam is homemade. Pistachio- this doughnut was filled with smooth pistachio cream and was topped with a few pieces of pistachio. Not traditional, but they did a good job. Chocolate- the filling tasted like a semisweet or bittersweet cream/custard. Like the others, it was smooth. The vanilla was more popular among our group and I personally didn't love this doughnut. Mango- this was the one that those in my group felt missed the mark. It wasn't cloyingly sweet, so that was good, but the filling didn't do anything for us either. If you're looking for a mango dessert the one at Lysée is a real winner.

When I moved to the UES, I was worried finding a new local roaster. I've had bad experiences where the beans are too oily or something is off that messes with my usually grind size/extraction time. No issues with Oslo's beans. 2. They actually know how to make a proper americano. Every coffee shop takes a standard cup, puts in the espresso shot, and then fills hot water to the brim of the cup. This destroys the flavor of the espresso. You end up with hot water that tastes slightly like coffee. Oslo chooses quality over quantity. They don't fill the water up to the brim, so you have a cup with 2/3 of liquid; however, this is a proper americano. You can taste the difference. At other shops, I just get drip coffee because they don't know what they're doing. Oslo knows what they're doing. That's why I come here.

We were a little late for our reservation, and they gave our table away, which was quite annoying. However, the service, hospitality, and food more than made up for it. Someone came over to apologize for the mix up and offered us complimentary white wine while we waited for another table to open up. The wine was delicious! When we were finally seated, we started with some drinks. I got the Speranza, and it was light, fresh, and delicious! We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary bread basket brought to the table, as it's a rarity in nyc these days. We split a burrata amongst the table. Loved the addition of figs. I ordered the rigatoni all'aragosta for my dish, which was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. There was a decent portion of lobster in the dish, and I couldn't even finish all of it, I was so full. One of the best pasta dishes I've had in a while. My friends ordered the bolognese and the fettuccine alla nerano, and they enjoyed their dishes as well! We skipped dessert this time, but I would definitely be back for it. I also want to try the paccheri next time, as well as their coffee shop in the mornings! Overall, a well executed restaurant with great ambience (would be great for a date night with the dim lighting and ability to hear each other speak). They just need to get a bigger dining room so they can seat more parties because they always seem to be booked full!

The pasta was good. Reasonable amount of pasta but we would have liked some more chunks of lobster for the price. I thought the sauce was only ok but my girlfriend liked it. The guazzetto di Pesci was only fair. The sauce was lacking flavor. Also a very small bowl of broth with maybe 3 small shrimp and muscles, a few small chunks of fish. and two sad, tiny pieces of bread on the side. Since we were still quite hungry after the meal, we ordered the lotus chocolate caramel dessert. This was the only dish we really liked. kinda hard to mess up gelato though. It came with a hard outer candy shell and a very small cookie center that was sweet and delicious. Overall, an average meal at best that we both felt was lacking in taste and size. Won't return.
