They've improved!…read more The good: - They now have QR code ordering at outside tables, making it easy to get a 2nd beer while eating with no fear of someone taking your table (when dining alone). - They have a chicken Caesar wrap that sorta checks the box for folks like me that crave fried chicken on a Caesar salad. Service is super fast, and the staff is nice. The downside: Their QR ordering platform really wants you to make an account. Without that, it times out quickly (erasing your order-in-work). Also, beer descriptions on the online ordering platform don't include any details on the beers - it won't even tell you the style of beer or ABV. I went inside to take a picture of the tap list so that I could complete my online order. My point of reference is Mammoth Brewing. Their online ordering platform doesn't require an account sign up, but keeps your session open for your entire meal, making it trivial to add stuff as you go, without re-entering your card info. It's low-friction and encourages me to buy more food/drink.

Dinner was amazing!!!!! We had an absolutely great Pinot Noir from Ayres Vineyard to kick off the evening. The Prawns Naseem appetizer was so delicious we wanted to lick the plate clean. Then it was on to the entrees, my friend had the Steak Diane, and I had the Chicken Foostuk. Everything was so delectable we just had to order dessert to go, we didn't want to miss the opportunity but we were too full to eat it there. No regrets! Top-notch all the way (honestly the BEST cheesecake I've ever had). From beginning to end this was hands down one of the best meals I've enjoyed in Eugene. The owner and the wait staff were all so wonderful. We loved that the space was imitate, yet casual enough we didn't feel under dressed. it was so nice to enjoy a fine meal/experience, without the fuss of dressing up. We can't wait to go back. Had a wonderful experience here last night! Got the Lamb Beirut which was delectable. It was warm and cinnamon-y and perfectly seasoned. Wonderful comfort food for a rainy night! I told my server I am allergic to dairy and she was sure to check that the vegetables were cooked in butter and offered me a side salad instead. It was fun to watch the bartender prepare some sort of special coffee drink for other guests that involved flaming alcohol and fresh-brewed coffee (topped with whipped cream.) If showy drinks and coffee are your thing, definitely order that. The waiters did seem a little distracted- they were preparing for a big group coming in the next night. My boyfriend and I have been here several times over the past few years and have yet to be disappointed. I can't help but order the Steak Diane every time. I'm not generally a red meat fan and I NEVER eat steak at a restaurant, this is my only exception. My boyfriend has had a few different things and has been happy with everything he's had. We just love Cafe Soriah! Everytime we go there we get excellent service, great food, and enjoy the atmosphere. We have always made reservations, so we never had to wait. But we love to go early to have one drink at the bar. We love the owner/chef. Any night of the week you'll find him there, enjoying his restaurant and customers. Delicious food, great service. How lucky we are to have this gem, Cafe Soriah, in our community. We had calamari, Caesar, salmon and steak Diane, all cooked to order. Everything was flavorful and delicious, as it has been for all these decades. We are always glad to see Ib, the owner and sometimes chef, and to visit Cafe Soriah. Took my mom here for her 79th birthday, and was so pleased!! The food was absolutely delicious! We all tried something different, and everyone enjoyed their meal tremendously! I am never diappointed with Cafe Soriah. We always order the calamari. It is the best I have ever had. Ask for it, even if you don't see it on the menu. Goes great with their amazing cocktails.
