I had scrambled eggs and ham, hubby had the turkey panini, adult kids had a salad and a panini. Everything was very good! Coffee was ok, nothing special and they don't have all the bells and whistles to go in the coffee. Daughter had a gluten free muffin and said it was really good!! read more

Had the pastrami sandwich and a cheese soup. Both were served somewhere between stone cold and luke warm. Was disappointed given very good reputation and great review. Soup had good flavor, but would pass on the sandwich. Also we were seated under a speaker that was pumping out loud music. Staff was very friendly though. read more

I had the Rad-O salad with chicken. It was a half portion, but it was huge. Definitely worth the up charge for chicken, which was freshly grilled, wrapped in foil, and packed separately. Top notch Covid protections were in place. read more

I really do like the food and the people but yesterday my friend and I couldn't hear each other due to the loud and obnoxious music. It wasn't very pleasant at all. The Chicken Artichoke soup was mostly broth. Usually the soups are delicious. I will go again but if the music is loud and rap, I will complain. read more

It is a great place for lunch! Best cafe on main street. The salad is amazing and smoothies are delicious. Staff is friendly, place is cool. I think it is a little overpriced for lunch, but worth it every once in a while. My mom and I went there and got a salad and smoothie each, ended up closer to $40. Excellent food! High quality ingredients and inviting environment. Fresh food with great flavor. We ordered the guacamole and it was fresh and just right with homemade chips. We also had the chilled beet salad and it was great. My husband had the turkey panini with baked potato soup and raved throughout his meal. The panini I ordered today was oily, soggy, and had a TON of cheese. Not the fresh light dish I'd expect from somewhere that focuses on salads. The quinoa tabbouleh was very good though. Might give them another shot but order a salad next time. read more

My wife and I both ordered the fancy grilled cheese on a grilled panini. It had candied walnuts, brie cheese, Apple slices and palisade peach preserves. It was a big sandwich and the first half of the sandwich was quite good. The second half seemed to lose its appeal to me. Not sure what it was, but I left with a not so great taste in my mouth. I'm not a huge fan of brie, so maybe it was to much of that. Not sure. I do like this place and would recommend it to anyone. read more

Stopped here for lunch around 130 on a Saturday. Similar concept to Panera or Cafe Zupas. I had the Schnoz Berry salad, which was good (though I remain partial to my Zupas options). My husband enjoyed his Pastrami panini. Overall service was slower than I expected for a soup and salad place, but with the number of meals coming out while we waited, it may have been our timing. My husband order had an easily fixable issue, which took longer than we'd expected to fix (swapping out bread) - they were apologetic and refunded his meal without us asking, which we really appreciated. Everything is good for you. Most everything is locally grown and supplied. AND ITS ALL MADE FROM SCRATCH! We need more eating options like Cafe Sol. I wish there was one on Cape Cod - I'd go everyday... At least I'll be back to Grand Junction and I plan on eating at Sol every chance I get. This isn't cheap and has a short menu. I couldn't taste any of the chicken on my avocado chicken sandwich. It literally tasted like straight guacamole. The bread was interesting but I did enjoy it. Service quick. I think the portions are far too large and need to be cut down or at least offered to just order a half sandwich. I just... Stopped for lunch at Cafe Sol while traveling on I70. We had our dog with us and he was allowed to sit with us on the sunny patio. We had the Guacamole panini and Chicken boom boom panini (the guacamole was my favorite). Flavored water was very good. Perfect stop for lunch. read more
