I really wanna give it one star but the two is only bc their pizza is great. Here's the basis for my rating: Friday night order placed online at 550p with a 606 pick up. Knowing this I purposely arrived at 615. So I know Friday nights are busy but this is what I've learned Do not order online on busy nights bc software tosses out 10-12 minutes of preparation time. I also tacked on 18% Tip, another do not add tip on busy nights bc you don't know how long you'll be waiting. This is not their fault but they should add On website a note highlighting when busy nights expect delays especially when ordering online. My tip/ which I will do for future. Call, ask how long. I'm not sure but it felt like call ins came first. When I arrived they said only ten minutes to crisp Pizza ... 25 mins later. Any other night during week np but busy nights-- forgetaboutIT!

Best gyro in town no contest. Gyro salad is great too. Love the pizza and the carry out special is a great deal. It's my go to place and I've tried all the pizza spots, cost for value is here. The people are constantly all very nice as well.

A sad Philly cheesesteak with the lack of the advertised peppers and mushrooms.

Ordered Philly cheesesteaks and there was a sliver of a green pepper, no onions and 2 slices of a mushroom. I read good reviews but this was a letdown.

Pretty decent food, super nice staff. It's quick and easy. The strangest thing though, no bathroom, no hand sanitizer. Weird

First time here because he is the only place in Grand Junction that had gyros. I got the traditional gyro with fries and a drink. It was what I was looking for in lamb. So good and filling. Might not get the fries next time, and ask for extra cucumber sauce.

16" pepperoni and double mushrooms?? Looks a little short on shooms. Funny I paid for them.

The pizza was good. Good dough, good sauce. Fresh toppings. The only thing I can complain about is the fact I paid fore double mushrooms. Does that pizza in the photo look like double mushrooms??? You once the box the pizzas done...and you lack the toppings you pay for. A little late to add them. First ti.e Herr. I will be back as long as my stay is here. But will definitely check before it goes in the oven.

Epic failure.... for the first time after years of eating here I was served a Gyro that should have went strait in the trash. The meat on it was so dried out and literally burned up and black..it never should have been used. Like it was sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Pics doesnt do justice how dried out like beer jerky it was. It crumbled and fell to pieces like pieces of gravel. I will call and let them know.... someone should be let go over serving food in this condition. I got it to go...so there was no going back. 80% of it went in the trash. I just called and talked with an employee who was conferring with the manager and I was told they can make me another one for pick up or delivery. I asked If I could pick one up tomorrow...and they said no, it has to be tonight. As If I want to risk haveing another Gyro made by the same crew that allowed this to go out in the first place. I said, no not interested..If I cant swing bye and pick one up tomorrow...then Im not interested. Tonight there is such a bad taste in my mouth, another Gyro donesnt even sound good ..but I wanted to let you the manager or staff know what an epic failure this Gyro was. Nasty sums it up.

Nice little pizza place with limited inside seating. Some people rave about the food, but I am not that much of a fan. Service is great!

The greens added a little kick, the onions perfectly sliced; almost paper thin. The green chiles cut into little morsels add that Smokey bit we crave when we think of fiesta style foods. There were bits of queso fresco crumbled over the whole thing, giving that tang. Even the brown rice was treated with the utmost respect and has the most amazing flavor and hearty texture! Lastly, I'm sure someone back there made that citrus crema from scratch and I basically licked that little ramekin clean! Thank you, thank you! A stop anyone in Junction will not regret!

I could mention several criticisms of recent managerial decisions, but I'll just limit it to one. The "American Breakfast" has disappeared, replaced by an a la carte ordering model. I assume this reflects price creep and the reality that the market will not support a $20 counter-service breakfast (especially one that prompts for pre-tipping) when a comparable $12 option is available across the street at a full-service restaurant. Combined with long wait times and lukewarm food, caused by either amateurs in the kitchen or lackadaisical food delivery by the counter-staff, Cafe Sol has regretfully moved to my "occasionally OK" list.

We decided to drop in without a reservation. The host was honestly pretty weird about it. He told us he had to go ask his waiters if they would even agree to take us. Truth be told, that is a bizarre way to welcome paying guests. They ultimately found a spot for us. Then they abandoned us for a solid fifteen minutes before anyone even approached the table. We finally ordered our drinks and watched another twenty minutes tick away. I went with the CMU Centennial Manhattan. It is built with a Colorado bourbon, sweet vermouth, local hot honey, bitters, and a bordeaux cherry. A proper Manhattan needs a careful balance between the whiskey and the sweet vermouth to round out the bite. Honestly, they were just way too heavy-handed with that hot honey. It was so aggressively spicy that it just wasn't enjoyable. My wife ordered the Lavender Lemon Drop. Hers was actually perfectly balanced with a really nice citrus kick. We put in an order for the Deviled Kitchen Eggs. Another twenty minutes passed before they hit the table. They make them with a tempura fried egg white and an herb yolk. I appreciate the attempt at a crispy texture. They were decent but ultimately nothing special. My wife ordered the Bison Tip Pappardelle. I decided on the Roasted Dirty Hippie Half Chicken. They use a local Palisade beer marinade for the chicken. I ordered it with duck fat potato dippers and truffle yucca on the side. Another thirty minutes crawled by before the main courses arrived. Both dishes were just huge letdowns. The pappardelle noodles were completely stuck together in a starchy clump. The wild mushroom cream sauce was overly sweet and cloying instead of savory. The bison meat was tough and tasted exactly like plain boiled beef. There was absolutely nothing enjoyable about that pasta dish. My chicken wasn't any better. It had a terribly rubbery texture. It felt like it was roasted three days ago and lazily reheated. The skin was soggy and gross instead of crisp and properly rendered. The duck fat dippers were completely missing that deep, savory richness you expect when cooking with animal fats. The truffle yucca was actually pretty tasty. A good side dish just can't make up for a terrible main course, though. We didn't bother asking for a second round of drinks. The food was so poor that we skipped dessert and just asked for the check. The panoramic view of the Colorado National Monument from the rooftop is fantastic. A beautiful sunset just isn't enough to excuse a bad dinner, though. We expected a much higher-end culinary experience. What we got felt like a bunch of college students running a very disorganized experiment. I would definitely skip this spot.
