    Bulgogi Bibimbap

Cute spot with a nice owner! The outside is a bit hidden as there is no signage besides directly on the window. Small with 3 tables and a limited menu. The bulgogi bibimbap was really good albeit a bit expensive (costed $60 in total after TT for bibimbap and kimchi fried rice). Perfect amount of everything after a ~6 hr flight. Would be back next time we visit.

This time I got there spicy pork and there kimchee jeon and I just cant get enough of this place. The chef and owner is super nice and humble and takes pride in his food. I never had the kimche jeon but man was it good crunch crust but soft pillowy in the middle im going to get returning and making my way down the menu.

Bulgogi Jeon. Don't be fooled. There is hardly any meat.

The serving size is good. Expensive. I ordered the bulgogi jeon (pancake). $20. It is a generous size which is great, HOWEVER, I found little bits of bulgogi. If I am to pay choke money, I want to get bulgogi. You can find the picture in my posting. Otherwise, again, they make good pancakes. It's just the oversight of meat.

An excellent Korean restaurant in a somewhat run-down mall. If you overlook this place, you're making a mistake. Seating capacity is limited and the atmosphere is mall rather than cozy, but it's still very much worth a visit. My family eats a lot of Korean food, and we loved the quality and flavours here. Servings are generous. Service is fast and the owner is really nice. I definitely plan to return.

My wife and I stopped in here for lunch on my birthday. I've not yet had the chance to try this local restaurant and thought why not today? This restaurant is located in the Lipoa shopping center which also contains the gas station/car wash...laundromat...and gym. There's not a sign but you will see their glass door has a sign. We were the only people there at 11:10 am. Staff were curteous and inviting. We weren't sure what to get so we asked what was good. We both tried the bulgogi bibimbap at the recommendation of the cashier. We ordered two bottles of chilled Coke. They have several selections of chilled drinks. They provide cups with ice too if you want to share. This dish took maybe 15 minutes to prepare. I had never had it before. It's a bowl of rice topped with bulgogi beef (very thinly sliced marinated beef), an egg (we did over easy on one and sunny side up on another), lettuce, carrot, mushroom, red cabbage (I believe pickled?) and a few other things which I wasn't sure what they were. Sesame seeds too. It's a nice refreshing blend of savory and fresh veggies. A lot of food! I believe one of these will run you around 23 or 24 dollars but you could probably serve two people with one. We had leftovers. It will absolutely fill you up. For two people with 2 drinks (Cokes) we spent around $60+ so it's definitely not what I'd say is "cheap" but it is a lot of food and delicious freshly prepared food so there is value for sure. Friendly ambience. They boxed our leftovers up without us asking them. I would definitely go back.

Our first time trying this spot and it did not disappoint. The food here is SO good!!! We got the Meat Jun, Kimbap, and the Bulgogi Bibimbap. Everything tasted 10/10. The serving size is pretty big too. These plates fed 3 of us and we had a lot of leftovers to take home. The workers are so friendly as well! Everything was nice and clean & the AC in this place is also a huge plus. I will definitely be making the drive over to the south side again for this place!!

Love this place! Everytime we eat here the food is delicious! The service is amazing and the ambience is a cute Korean style restaurant. Can't express enough how much I love their food! Our go to place whenever we crave Korean food!

Huge portion of bulgogi bibimbap, So Good too.

My favorite Korean food item is the bulgogi bibimbap. Although this cafe doesn't serve dolsot bibimbap, their version that's served in a regular black bowl is actually very good. Large portions and delicious. The chicken bibimbap was good but the bulgogi was better. We also enjoyed the seafood jeon. This pancake is a thicker version. The owner and the lady chef are friendly and helpful. They serve extraordinary food in a simple cafe. This is a hidden gem. The cafe is literally hidden behind the gas station that is between Times Supermarket and Tamura's.

    Bulgogi kimbap

Surprisingly good food for a place that's located in a dead strip mall. Got the meat jeon and bulgogi kimbap, about 20 dollars each with decent portions. Totally worth it. Kimbap was decent, not mind blowing but I had no complaints. Would probably choose something else on menu next time. We just wanted a quick pick me up. Meat jeon was delicious. Served piping hot right off the stove. Meat basically melted in my mouth. It was my first time trying it and it was everything I imagined.

Came based on Yelps ratings and it didn't disappoint. The veggie and chicken bibimbap were really good. I like that it was loaded with veggies and not rice (it still had a reasonable amount of rice). Friendly and personable staff. Small seating area and clean. Would recommend. - electric car charge just outside if needed.

I explained that I've ordered these many times before and they've never looked like this, but my concern was dismissed. He was engaging and made small talk with us. The female bartender was quite rude and cold, and I debated removing a star for her poor attitude and service skills. Service aside, my husband and I decided to try a few different items, including the Szechuan garlic noodles, pickled cucumbers, aji tamago, and Lion's Mane salad. All four dishes had wonderful flavor and were the perfect amount to share and leave full without being overwhelmed. I appreciated the freshness of the ingredients and the variety of spice. All in all, it was a tasty meal, but they definitely need to work on their consistency with employee service.

I had Thai-Railway Fried Rice, which has diced, cooked NY steak chunks, in a bed of brown rice, as well as peas, carrots, scallions, Maui onions (yum!), with an egg over easy on top, with toasted onions. I dialed the spicyness at "medium". It was *perfect*! My wife had Pad Thai with chicken, and she left it at the default spicyness (medium), which ended up being too hot for her, but she soldiered on nevertheless enjoying the wonderful flavor. Perhaps because of the noodles and curry, the spiciness of the Pad Thai seemed much stronger than the Thai-Railway fried rice dish. Of course, we had leftovers and I'll probably end up eating hers, and she'll eat mine. The service was prompt, and the girl waiting on the tables was courteous, with a beautiful smile. The restaurant is deceptively roomy, seeming to be smaller from the outside, but once inside, it was quiet, clean, with comfortable chairs, clean tables, and large windows to enjoy some of Kihei's views (like today's gentle rain). As with most things these day on Maui, where everything comes in a shipping container, food costs are very noticable. Our meal, including thai ice tea and a soda, with a coconut ice-cream to finish it was about $44/person. Not cheap, but also not as bad as, say, Tommy Bahamas.

The roast duck was really good actually. The general tsao's chicken and chicken lettuce was good, I've definitely been to other spots that were better but I don't have anything bad to say about it. What I really disliked about this place was the Seafood Bird's Nest. Initially, they thought I ordered a Seafood Delight, but my order was missing the noodles. But they basically just fried up some noodles real quick and threw it under. And that part wouldn't have been a problem for me, but it was honestly waaaay too salty (and I like really salty! so that says a lot to me) It was difficult to eat to be honest, but I of course didn't want to waste it. The seafood included 3 pieces of shrimp, about a stick of imitation crab meat, a couple small pieces of scallop, and A LOT of calamari pieces that were soooo tough to chew, we couldn't even really eat them! For the chicken lettuce, they gave us about 3 full pieces of lettuce that was cut up and then charged us $4.00 for more pieces of lettuce which is pretty pricey lol. The siu mai was mid.. but you get what you pay for. There was also a 3% additional kitchen surcharge which was weird...? Still not sure what that was for lol. And then on top of that there's another 3% charge if you use credit card, so just be aware of that. The service was fine, because there was basically no one else in the restaurant anyway. Also - my boyfriend told me they had no soap in the restroom at all which was inconvenient. Overall, the price of their food does not make sense for the level of quality. I wouldn't recommend to my peers to come here, except maybe just grab their roast duck to go.

The chicken was heavily breaded but the sauce was nice. The fried rice was a dark brown mixture that didn't look like any rice I've had before. My companion ordered the curry chicken with vegetables with her side of chow mein. The curry was ok and so was the chicken but the Bell pepper needed to be cooked a little longer. The chow mein noodles were more like spaghetti noodles with seasoning. The restaurant doors were wide open and the fans were spinning and the air conditioning was turned off. I wanted to give this place a good review as I selected the place based on existing Yelp reviews but sorry can't do it. I forgot to mention that they charged a 3% fee for the kitchen AND if you use a credit card another 3% on top of the previous subtotal. Nope. Not a repeat in the future for me
