This was a nice cafe downtown in Wallingford. I love trying new cafes especially since I'm new to CT. I got a seasonal latte and a chocolate croissant. It was nice. Lots of other people there too. Friendly staff.

Strawberry Short Cake specialty drink

Came here in the middle of the day during the week. My husband and I were excited to try a new coffee shop. This place is so cute! I love that they feature creative specialty monthly drinks. I wish I could have tried them all. We ordered the Strawberry Short Cake and I Love My Situationship for drinks along with bagel sandwiches. Everything was delicious and tasty. Not to mention the owner is very sweet. Looking forward to coming back in the future!

What a great find! Lovely staff, very helpful with the menu and suggestions, and a simple but classic ambiance! Lots of seasonal items, too. Will def be back soon!

I highly reccomend Cafe Luca Belle! I stopped in here for the first time last week and was really excited to try their blueberry creme matcha. There was only one person working in there and she was absolutely working her butt off - I applaud her! She was very accommodating after realizing that when I ordered one of their breakfast sandwiches, they were out of one of the main components, and she quickly gave me options to make it better! She was very professional and helpful, especially when balancing every role! The matcha was really lovely - I was there could had been a tad more of cold foam at the top, but besides that, I enjoyed it! The blueberry puree/syrup was delightful! And their chocolate croissants are just insanely delicious, they're perfectly flakey and buttery and I could seriously eat 10 of them! The cora was also really good as well, the perfect sweet treat breakfast! Definitely looking forward to coming back!

Sweet Heat Bagel (crème brûlée bagel, cream cheese, peaches and hot honey)

Tried a few of Cafe Luca Belle's September specials and boy, were they delicious! We got two drink specials, Left No Crumbs and Hearts Pumpkin. The Left No Crumbs was a caramel apple pie inspired latte which was just a delight. The cinnamon crumb topping was my favorite part. Hearts Pumpkin was Cafe Luca Belle's signature cold brew with pumps of pumpkin pie and white chocolate syrup and topped with vanilla cold pumpkin foam. We were able to customize them with oat milk too. The cold foam couldn't be made dairy-free though, but we like it pretty and opt for it. We also got the Sweet Heat Bagel that was a crème brûlée bagel. They sprinkled sugar over the cream cheese and torched it to give it the real crème brûlée taste. They topped it with peaches and hot honey. The bagel was big enough to share, but it was so messy. Remember to grab napkins! It was a very busy day at Cafe Luce Belle and seating was very limited inside. Make sure you secure a seat before dining in or ask that your drink and food be made to-go. There is side parking, but I personally park in a public parking lot across the street. It's a great area to walk around when the weather is nice. I highly recommend giving Cafe Luce Belle a try if you love fun coffee drinks. Check out their social media pages for their latest seasonal/monthly.

Black Cold Brew

I recently visited Cafe LB. There was a small seating area, but I was primarily there for takeaway black iced coffee. They had cold brew or nitro rather than iced coffee. I went with the cold brew. It was smooth and rich. Service was friendly. The inside was fine and I would drink coffee there, but the atmosphere was not a particular draw for me. Four Stars

Cafe Luca Belle is an adorable coffee shop in Wallingford. The outside has some beautiful fall pumpkins painted on the window. The inside has some comfy options for sitting, and some plants. The whole space is very clean, bright and inviting. There was a large menu on which everything looked delicious. It took me a while to come to my decision. I decided on the Pistachio Latte and The Day-Na Bagel. My latte arrived beautifully presented, with a little cookie on the side. It was so, so tasty. The pistachio flavor was mild, but creamy, lightly sweetened and delicious. The Day-Na Bagel was also very tasty. This was a toasted everything bagel, with cream cheese, avocado and tomato slices, topped with sesame seeds. Yum! I really love tomato and avocado together. This was a great little lunch. The bagel was toasted just enough, so it's a bit crispy, not at all dry and crumbly. There was just one person working here. She was friendly and patient while I decided on what to get. I was very happy with my first visit to Cafe Luca Belle. If you're in the area please stop by!

S'mores latte!

Super cute cafe and something that was sorely needed in downtown Wallingford. It's a large space, which means they have plenty of rooms whether you are there for a friendly meeting or for work. I can absolutely see this being a place hosting an acoustic guitarist on cozy weekend mornings. I got the s'mores latte and brought home a chai latte, both very good. I also got a scone from Kouign (our fave) and tried their current bagel special, the honey nut - peanut butter, honey, and bananas! I know I could have made it at home but it tastes better when someone else makes it. Keep up the good work, friends!

Been wanting to try this place and the other 2 cafes that are around the corner since they opened. Today i finally chose one and went with cafe Luca Bella since they had bagels and I was craving one. I got the loaded lox on an everything bagel. It was very good- I was not a fan of the pickled onion- would've just preferred the regular red onion instead. The fresh dill was a nice touch! I also got an Americano (my go to) with a sugar free brown sugar cinnamon. Loved this flavor! Want to go back and get it in latte to dine in and try their other bagels. They have a monthly menu that changes (see pictures) and ample seating. The cashier was friendly and very knowledgeable. I listened to her help the next few customers who were undecided and she did a great job helping them decide (even get something they never had before). It was pricey and noticed there were no prices on the food menu. $20 (includes a 20% tip) for my 2 items. So it was clearly the bagel that was expensive because the coffee per their menu was only $4. I didn't get a receipt (I didn't ask which was my fault but also wasn't offered or asked if I wanted one). The price of the bagel plus the pickled onions knock it down to 4 stars. I will come back for coffee but it wouldn't be a regular stop just due to price of getting food and coffee .

Gingerbread latte was absolutely perfect. Got 2 egg sandwiches on everything bagels. Very tasty. Cozy shop. Extensive specials monthly which is really fun. Staff was great! One girl was working and she was super efficient and friendly.

Cafe Luca Belle is so nice! Love their style - it was very cozy and relaxing with live music on a Saturday morning. I enjoyed my hot chocolate, and my fiancé enjoyed his cortado. I think it's great that the cafe has treats by Kouign - our croissant and scone were fantastic, and it was nice to see a business supporting another local business. I would definitely come by again when in the area!

The most inviting coffee shop that I never knew about was just around the corner. After 10 years in New York and another 10 in LA, I've seen some beautiful cafes and always found a 'coffee home'. It took a while after moving back to CT, but I'm happy to call Cafe Luca Belle my new casa :)

Cafe Luca Belle in Wallingford, CT is the perfect coffee shop to have good coffee, a treat, and a good place to sit and relax. They have a lovely menu of cappuccinos, lattes, coffee, and teas. Treats all look amazing and fresh with some gluten free and vegan options as well. The staff are friendly, informative, and helpful. The coffee shop is not even a month old yet they feel established. This shop is located near lots of different types of businesses from salons to restaurants. This is a lovely location and coffee shop.

I've been here once or twice. I think their sandwich is pretty good but the coffee was ok. Haven't really been back much.

Onto the drinks and food which were so delicious and truly enjoyable. I got the Beachy Bee Iced Latte special, which is a honey vanilla latte with a coconut cold foam and toasted coconut on top (simply divine)! My fiancé got the cappuccino which was made just to his liking, and he's a coffee connoisseur. For food, I had the Bumble, which I highly recommend, with scrambled eggs, subbed with the gluten free sourdough bread (+$2 up-charge) and cheddar instead of American cheese. It's served all day and had so much flavor with that garlic butter, and the seasoned steak. Yum! If you are gluten free like me, you will appreciate that they have the gluten free sourdough bread or a gluten free wrap to substitute with. My partner had the Basic Bee with bacon and thought it was flavorful with light and fluffy scrambled eggs that complimented the bacon well. Overall, I would really recommend this place if you're looking for a breakfast or lunch in Wallingford!

I normally try to give places the benefit of the doubt, but our experience at The Bees Knees Bistro…read morein Wallingford was honestly very disappointing and upsetting. My family and I arrived while it was raining outside with our young daughters in strollers, expecting to sit down for a meal and get out of the weather. Instead, we were told we could not come in with the strollers and essentially felt unwelcome the moment we walked through the door. As parents of babies who are still too young to sit safely in high chairs on their own, the strollers are not optional for us , they are necessary. We were not being disruptive, rude, or inconsiderate. We were simply trying to have a meal as a family. Rather than attempting to accommodate us or show any understanding, we were left feeling like having children made us an inconvenience. What made the situation even worse was the fact that it was pouring outside. Any level of kindness or flexibility would have gone a long way. Instead, we felt embarrassed, frustrated, and honestly shocked by the lack of compassion and customer service. Families with young children already face enough challenges going out in public, and experiences like this make it even harder. We ended up leaving and taking our business somewhere else that was far more welcoming and understanding toward families. It is disappointing because we were genuinely looking forward to trying this restaurant, but first impressions matter. A restaurant does not need to be "kid-centered" to still treat parents and babies with basic respect and decency. I completely understand that restaurants may have space limitations or policies, but there is a respectful and compassionate way to handle situations like this. Instead, the experience came across as cold and dismissive. There are many restaurants in the area that are happy to accommodate families, and moving forward those are the businesses I will continue to support. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be returning and would not recommend this restaurant to families with infants or children who still require strollers or extra accommodations. I wont be going back and giving them .you business, nor will I be recommending this place to anyone. Totally rude and discrimination towards those with babies. I did not feel cherished like their website says every guest is. Its sad because this will and im sure does effect their business. I will never give them my business after yesterday. No attempts at accommodating us or evening offering to let us sit outside, lazy staff, but yet there were 3 teenage girls taking names for the wait list. What a joke.

I finally had the absolute pleasure of visiting Crossroads recently. What an outstanding place…read more Super awesome, cool and friendly owner/staff. Inviting comfy space. So far, I have only tried the one latte, the jasmine peach latte, which had peach puree, house made jasmine syrup, house made white tea cold foam and dried peaches. It was probably the best latte I have ever had. While their specialty drinks are only available small & medium, their sizes are 16 oz, 20 oz, 24 oz, so the small is actually the equivalent of some shops' large. I have only heard good things about their baked goods/pastries and they both looked and sounded amazing. I can't wait to try one hopefully very soon! Overall it was as close to a perfect experience as you get. Must try for sure. Immediate top spot for me.

Recently obsessed with this local coffee joint. Been spending the week in North Haven checking out…read moresome spots. Super cozy place, eco friendly with some of the best coffee/matcha. Friendly service at the counter, few tables inside to lounge at. My wife and I frequent the Last Drop in Monroe and this is ultra comparable. Very good pricing and kudos to them for using and making homemade syrups! I am a matcha guy so I get an iced matcha latte with vanilla cream cold brew. My wife has had the special Cherry Cold Brew which sells out quick and some lattes with cinnamon brown sugar, fantastic. I vow to get there early enough one of these days to try their blueberry muffins, always sells out quick. They have a host of other pastries as well, you are missing out if you don't try this place.
