Ok, so I used to go to the one on the Waterbury line for a long time until my work route changed, I am now coming here for a weekend treat. My husband gets a cappuccino and says one of the best he has had. I've had a few iced lattes that have been great, this Dubai Chocolate Latte is insane, I'm not a fan of the whole Dubai chocolate craze but this sounded good and glad I went for it. Not overly sweet, nice nut flavor. Staff is always super friendly here, love hanging out while we drink our beverages read more

I've heard great things about this place and decided to give it a try. There is plenty of parking and it's a great location. The building is spacious and clean with a cute ambiance. There was a large menu to select from and I tried my go-to iced mocha. I appreciated that each size drink came with a different number of espresso shots. I got the largest size which came with 3 shots. The drink was great and they added plenty of mocha syrup so it was flavorful. Overall, the service was good. I was in and out quickly, which was convenient as I was in a bit of a rush. I would definitely go back. read more

Small place and the wait was LONG. Not sure they can do much to help due to the layout, but felt a bit cramped and constantly moving back and forth to get out of people's way. read more

This place caught me off guard - I was expecting it to be good but not this good! Don't walk - FUN here to get their pumpkin cinnamon roll (warmed up is a must) and your life will changed The cream cheese is overly sweet and perfectly ties into the roll itself, i could not put this down! and i also got their maple matcha and did throughly enjoy it as well as their beef bulgogi wrap! if you want to hang outside, just be a little mind of the bees if you're eating/drinking! read more

I love this place! I first came by years ago and had a red velvet frappe. Recently, I've been coming for a late afternoon pick-me-up. I typically get a frappe - I've had another red velvet, cookie butter, peanut butter mocha - but my last visit I tried a cinnamon roll smoothie. I have not been disappointed by any of the flavors - they're all spot on and delicious. I can't wait to try a different flavor next time! read more

I love this coffee shop! Needed a place to take a quick meeting before an appointment in Cheshire and found this spot online. Their iced coffee is absolutely delicious, with lots of flavor choices, & the wait staff was so kind! Try the cake batter iced coffee! I also appreciated that they have all milk and non-dairy creamer options out so you can pour your own. The place is massive for a coffee shop, with plenty of seating and tables for chatting with friends or getting some work done. WiFi was good & background music wasn't too loud. I will definitely be back! read more

Quick coffee break! Love stopping by Cheshire Coffee for a mid-afternoon caffeine run when I'm on the area. Offering delicious coffee, tea, scones, and more! I always pop in to try their seasonal menu or teas. Today I got their Iced Frosted Mint Mocha Latte that is a sweet take on mint chocolate chip ice cream. I also got one of our favorites that's on Cheshire Coffee's menu year round--Thai Tea! The staff is very speedy when making your coffee as this location can get very busy in the mornings and around lunch. The shop is cozy and a lot of seating on the inside. When it's a gorgeous day (like today) it's nice to relax in their front patio. read more

Delish feta spinach croissant! I got a strawberry banana smoothie and added peanut butter- tasted just like a pb&j! Service was excellent.

Great outdoor seating with a small parking lot, service was very fast but the latte is a little unremarkable.

Spinach and feta pastry and the French toast latte is super good! They have Boba, which is pretty cool! They have a nice inside and outside area to sit and enjoy your coffee! read more

I was near Cheshire today and recalled seeing a person or two praising Cheshire Coffee on Instagram. From the consistent four person or so line in the afternoon, to the people hanging out inside and outside (despite 90 degree heat), I could tell that Cheshire Coffee is probably a beloved part of local life. Cheshire Coffee didn't really connect for me though. I ordered a black iced coffee and an Iced Raspberry White Mocha. Service was friendly, but I didn't feel like coffee knowledge was a strength of the cashier given answers to my questions. The iced coffee was about the quality of a national franchise type place, rather than one of the great CT coffee shops that have perfected sourcing. Although black iced coffee is my normal order, I was curious to try a specialty drink as well. I was told that they could make the Raspberry White Mocha as an iced beverage. I appreciate the effort, but it was not well executed. The first sips I took were slightly warm and there wasn't much ice left. I had to raise the straw bottom, to the very top of the coffee where ice still remained, to get cold sips. The taste was too sweet for me and it had an artificial flavor. Cheshire Coffee also had baked goods and other food for sale. I did not try any food. Some of the baked goods were individually-sliced and plastic-wrapped. I understand that this helps speed up service and may help keep the baked goods from going bad for longer, but in my experience, the tight wrapping individual portions results in a food quality drop (overly moist texture) and I'm never a fan of seeing this. Three Stars based upon my experience. read more

BEST COFFEE IN THE AREA! Decided to try a new place versus the chain restaurant on my route and I was VERY impressed. The coffee selections are big and the pound coffee has a great selection of different coffees. The food was great and very tasty. The prices were normal considering the atmosphere and type of food. WAAAYYYY better than Starbucks or any other place that believes they serve coffee best read more

This has been a long time Cheshire staple for having coffee and being cool. All ages love this place. They cater hot and cold coffees, organic teas, boba teas, apple ciders, quality ingredients sandwiches and most importantly... that cool coffee shop hangout vibe. The Mrs and I stopped in for a quick Sunday morning and asked if they could switch our drinks to regular cups instead of the paper ones. Off course they were only too happy to oblige and t'was a delicious morning treat. I destroyed the fancy bacon, egg and Gouda cheeses sandwich before I remembered to take a photo...ooops. I have been to Cheshire Coffee several times now. The thing that impresses me most is the staff. They are genuinely friendly, extremely competent and well-trained, and very efficient when the shop gets busy! It makes going there very pleasant. I came here because I was looking for a place that served boba and I was surprised that this place did. This place is a very cute coffee shop. Good ambiance, nice staff, and I've actually been to the one by Waterbury's Costco and had a latte which was very good. Do technically I've had a espresso drink. The Boba drink- the bobas pearls are perfect, soft and chewy, the beverage is a little on the sweet side and tastes more like a flavored milk drink and less like a tea drink. I couldn't taste any tea anywhere. I also had there bagel because they said it came from a NY bakery. It tastes on par with the bagels from Starbucks. I would come back here for coffee or tea and to hang out with friends. It's a good local stop there muffins look really good too read more

Coffee shop with a long list coffee options. My mom loves the coffee here, but I haven't tried it. Homemade sandwiches and pastries. The sandwiches are packaged, however they are made in-house in the morning. They will heat up the sandwich for you. I split both the cranberry ham & the pesto chicken with my mom. The chicken was still frozen after they were supposed to heat it up for us, but we told them this and they fixed it for us after that. The ham-cranberry was an interesting combo, I thought it was ok but my mom loved it. I enjoyed the pesto chicken sandwich but my mom thought the pesto was too garlic-y. We both agreed that all of the bread was great. I also got a pumpkin granola bar. It had pretty good flavor, but was a little too dry for me. It was pretty large as well. Nice casual seating area 8/10 read more

After many positive experiences over the years at this establishment and spending hard earned dollars, I am sad to say I will never return. Both one of the waitstaff and the owner, Gary, were rude, abrupt, and extremely condescending. I would like to thank Mia for her kind words and excellent people skills, which I truly appreciated. I only wish I could have given no stars. read more

Cheshire Coffee has always been my half way restaurant stop on my weekly bike rides. Staff is always willing to refill my water bottle, with ice! Good coffee. Was looking for lunch and there were a few choices of sandwiches in the fridges.

I like going to Cheshire on my way back from Shef's bagels (see review). Cheshire coffee has a different assortment of coffees, lattes and espressos. Some choices are permanent and others are seasonal. The staff is friendly, and the inside is nicely decorated. They also have several outdoor tables you can sit at. Today was very busy with a line to the door. I had to park across the street which can be a pain if you have difficulty walking or have small children. Overall I like going to Cheshire coffee to wash down my Shef bagel. read more

I came to Cheshire Coffee for an informal meeting with my manager since we both live nearby and were going to be out of the office that day. Cheshire Coffee was hopping but we were still able to to easy find a somewhat private table in a corner where we could catch up without interference from other customers. I loved the wide variety of teas and coffees available, and my scone really hit the spot. I can see this becoming a regular stop for me when I am in the area. read more

Been meaning to check this place out for a long time as my friend and favorite co-worker we will call her Princess A has highly recommended it . Did not have anywhere to sit but it's a small place and that was fine took it to go in the car. Roasted red pepper with mozzarella on ciabatta bread was very good. White hot chocolate was a tad too sweet I will give Starbucks the nod here as far as this item. Overall I will go back here look forward to checking out the breakfast sandwiches. read more
