What a cute little spot. It may not take up much space but it is impeccably decorated and beautifully themed. The drink menu makes us swollen each month and we haven't had a bad experience. The staff is really nice and the drinks are delicious. They put a lot of care and thought into their specialty drinks. I even had a great Matcha here. Definitely recommend.

Latte Soul is my forever favorite place after run. The drinks are always really good, they also have seasonal drinks which are always super tasty. They sometimes have pastries, an I really like the cheese and guava because it reminds me of Miami. The service is amazing and the stuff is super nice. Inside of the place is super cute and sometimes they have events which is nice. I definitely recommend the place.

#21 in my NEW ENGLAND & NY COFFEE SHOP SERIES New coffee shop in Hamden! This place opened up just over 2 weeks ago and I had to try it! The aesthetics are giving LA and I am here for it. I decided to bring all of my stuff to study since I have a few exams coming up. Unfortunately, I didn't stay too long to study because the space is kind of small and gets kind of loud. There's only one long wood table with 4 little stools to sit (no back). As well as a couch that people normally wait on for their drinks. There's a bunch of cute signs and even a swing/ flower wall to take pictures. There are a few outlets that are covered by protectors so it can keep babies safe. The owner told me you can remove them to charge if needed. They also have wi-fi, you just have to ask for the password! As for drinks I got one of the more popular "faves," raspberry white chocolate mocha iced latte. It was delicious! A little on the sweeter side. And there was an option to make it sweeter! It was pretty pricey tho for the 16 oz... $8.50. I haven't had to pay over $8 for a drink with cold foam in a long time... Kind of overpriced. They also have a bunch of combos, seasonal drinks, and your classic coffee shop items. In addition, they have red bull drinks where you can add your own flavoring which is fun! Overall, I personally wouldn't come here again to study because the space isn't really meant for it. I also don't know if I would come back for drinks since it is quite pricey... But the service is great! The owner is super friendly and very chatty.

This place is so cute. Decorated beautifully. The owner is always so nice and you can really tell she has a passion for what she does. I don't review places other than restaurants typically but she's a mixologist. She takes her time making your drink perfectly and recommends the right milk for each drink. Best chai latte. Nice and spicy. Get it with oat milk hot. Per their recommendation. Can't wait to try the iced drinks this summer! Thanks for your great customer service and for always smiling. That is something that's lost these days.

Our servers were amazing! The service was slow because we came on National Women's Day! 50% of the proceeds were donated to "Ruth's House" which is how I discovered this quaint little coffee in my back yard. We both loved our lattes a lot! One hot and one cold. Great list of coffee syrups, a variety of milk options, and fresh brewed coffee as well as espresso. I will definitely be back soon!

As soon as I walked in, the staff were great. So friendly. It was 3 young women working who couldn't have been sweeter. They offered me stickers and a car freshener which was so nice. Super cute and relatively new cafe. The place is small so more of a grab and go. The aesthetic is what makes it. So much attention to detail. The looks and staff make it vibrant and inviting. They have a rotating menu of speciality drinks. I tried the cookie butter cheesecake latte and it was absolutely delicious. I wish I lived closer. It was about a 45 minute drive but the amazing girls who worked there and tasty drink made the drive worth it. I'll definitely be back!

Ahh! This place is the cutest! I had to see what the hype was about after seeing it all over my Instagram feed. Staff is so friendly when you walk in. Their menu is easy to read and navigate. Now trying to figure out which drink you want was the hardest part lol. I wanted to try them all! In time definitely! But since fall is my favorite season, I had to get a drink from their fall menu! If you love pumpkin, this is the winner! The ambiance is pink and happy! If you're in a down mood, this place will definitely lift your spirits! It will definitely give you latte soul!

This vibrant and inviting coffee shop is a must in Hamden! The owners are the absolute sweetest people-you'll love chatting with them and they will certainly help you pick a drink off of the menu if you don't know what to get. This spot is in Hamden (right near QU!) Their menu offers lattes, teas, lemonades and plant-based energy drinks. They have a monthly menu but also offer collab partnerships with organizations in the community for limited release flavors. They have a small pastry case for sweets in the AM (grab them before they're gone) and rotate different offerings. Easy parking outside and a must look is at their fun decorated bathroom. Tried a few different drinks: Chai Hot Latte, Gingerbread Iced Latte, Cookie Butter Iced Latte and the Dragon Fruit Energy Drink (plant-based).

If you have not tried Latte Soul yet.. What are you waiting for! I'm new in town and decided to start trying coffee shops around the area. I was happily surprised when I arrived to this adorable and welcoming location. We were greeted by the most pleasant person on earth and who was well informed and provided great detail about our options. The beverages were fantastic, we ordered a White Oreo Latte with cookie cold foam and an orange energy refresher. 10/10 I'll be a frequent customer.

This place is very cute and the owner and people working there are super nice. I've only tried the sweet matcha latte and the June special strawberry shortcake matcha latte and both were really good.

The owner is absolutely incredible -- talented, dedicated, and genuinely one of the most hardworking people in this industry. She opened her café during COVID at a young age and built it from the ground up through pure passion, grit, and love for her community. That alone deserves recognition. The selection is always thoughtful and creative, and the specials are phenomenal. She makes all her syrups by hand and sources gluten-free items in-house, which takes so much time and intention but shows how deeply she cares about quality and inclusivity. You can taste the effort in every single drink. Crossroads is a place built on heart, and the coffee community is extremely proud of her. She does not get enough credit for everything she's accomplished and everything she continues to pour into her space. If you want to support a café run by a genuine human being who truly loves what she does, this is the place. Highly recommended -- not just for the coffee, but for the person behind it.

Friendly service at the counter, few tables inside to lounge at. My wife and I frequent the Last Drop in Monroe and this is ultra comparable. Very good pricing and kudos to them for using and making homemade syrups! I am a matcha guy so I get an iced matcha latte with vanilla cream cold brew. My wife has had the special Cherry Cold Brew which sells out quick and some lattes with cinnamon brown sugar, fantastic. I vow to get there early enough one of these days to try their blueberry muffins, always sells out quick. They have a host of other pastries as well, you are missing out if you don't try this place.

Most of their baked goods were sold out, which totally made sense because it was nearly closing time and the items that remained looked delicious. So we were sure that whatever had been sold before was more of the same. I ordered a hot latte and the kiddo ordered a raspberry tea. We also decided to order toasted sandwiches (grilled vegetables for me and grilled cheese for her) to enjoy in the shop. Enjoy we did! The latte was served with a foam smiley face. The espresso was strong and delicious and tempered nicely by the milk. Her tea was piping hot and fruity. The sandwiches were toasted but not blazing hot, for which we were thankful because we were very hungry. They also weren't greasy - an issue I have with other toasted sandwiches. As a side note - why do sandwich shops slather sandwiches in oil or butter when a simple iron sandwich press and a hot grill will suffice? Anyway, our sandwiches were great! They were filling but didn't leave us feeling lethargic (please refer back to the not greasy comment.) We were so happy to have a good meal and a seat after a long tour around the Quinnipiac campus. Bussing one's table is expected and the staff kept the tables spic and span in between patrons. Speaking of the staff, the young man who took our order and was servicing the dining area was kind and patient as we ordered. We made sure to leave fifteen minutes before closing because we didn't want to be THOSE people, namely the couple in the corner who'd setup their computer shop and looked to have no intention of leaving without a fight. We will definitely return to Bread & Chocolate if we find ourselves in the area again.

This place was extremely disappointing…read more I've had their bread at local restaurants and always thought it was excellent, which is what motivated me to visit in person. Over the past few months, I tried stopping by three separate times, twice they were already closed, and once they had completely sold out of bread. I finally made it there on a Sunday morning, and they had only one loaf left, and not a type I wanted. We decided to order two egg and cheese sandwiches (one with turkey bacon). Both were terrible. The rolls were soft, soggy, wet, and flavorless. Each sandwich had a single egg placed off-center, so half the roll barely had any egg at all. The turkey bacon was so bad we removed it and threw it out. Normally, I would have just moved on and not returned. But what really pushed me to write this review (which I never write) was the carrot cake we purchased. We took it home, refrigerated it, and tried it later that evening. It was, without question, the worst piece of carrot cake I've ever had. The frosting was hard, dry, stale, and completely lacking flavor, no sweetness at all. The cake itself was equally bad: dry, crumbly, and utterly tasteless. There was no hint of carrot, cinnamon, nutmeg, or any spice, just bland, dry crumbs. The cake was completely lacking sugar. After two bites, we threw it in the garbage. I don't say this lightly. I've been cooking and baking for decades, hold a degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, and spent over 20 years in the industry. I've traveled extensively and eaten outstanding food around the world. For me, someone who genuinely loves desserts, to throw cake away (which is rare) says everything. I understand it was a Sunday and that fresh baking may not be happening that day, but it's simply not acceptable to sell baked goods from prior days that are clearly stale. Even more concerning than the staleness however, was the complete lack of flavor in the product. The sandwiches were disappointing, but that cake was on another level. I won't be returning for sandwiches or desserts, but perhaps the bread.
