This is my first time here. My brother sent me a Facebook post of the Berzerker I thought it was…read moreright up my alley. Once I saw that picture, I got in my car and ordered it. It did not disappoint. The sandwich is topped with a toasted pretzel bun. The sandwich contained eggs, crispy bacon, melted cheddar, chipotle aioli and hash brown patty. I also got the side of hash browns and the suggested paired drink of the Cookie Monster. The Cookie Monster is a cookie butter, cold brew topped with cookie butter cold foam. All of these items were very delicious. I do have to note my stomach didn't exactly enjoy the combination but a couple steps of Gingerale and I was good to go. That place was fairly busy. It was Friday night around 6 PM that I went. Staff was super friendly and walked me through the process as I've never been there before, so it was very easy to understand the process.

I enjoyed every single one. My favorite was the MARSHZILLA COLD BREW it was made with the following HASTUR'S COLD BREW SHAKEN WITH OUR HOUSE-MADE NUZILLA SAUCE, TOPPED WITH MARSHMALLOW COLD FOAM. We also grabbed a jalapeño cheddar bagel with cream cheese. Service was fast and prices were fair.

I finally had the absolute pleasure of visiting Crossroads recently. What an outstanding place…read more Super awesome, cool and friendly owner/staff. Inviting comfy space. So far, I have only tried the one latte, the jasmine peach latte, which had peach puree, house made jasmine syrup, house made white tea cold foam and dried peaches. It was probably the best latte I have ever had. While their specialty drinks are only available small & medium, their sizes are 16 oz, 20 oz, 24 oz, so the small is actually the equivalent of some shops' large. I have only heard good things about their baked goods/pastries and they both looked and sounded amazing. I can't wait to try one hopefully very soon! Overall it was as close to a perfect experience as you get. Must try for sure. Immediate top spot for me.

Recently obsessed with this local coffee joint. Been spending the week in North Haven checking out…read moresome spots. Super cozy place, eco friendly with some of the best coffee/matcha. Friendly service at the counter, few tables inside to lounge at. My wife and I frequent the Last Drop in Monroe and this is ultra comparable. Very good pricing and kudos to them for using and making homemade syrups! I am a matcha guy so I get an iced matcha latte with vanilla cream cold brew. My wife has had the special Cherry Cold Brew which sells out quick and some lattes with cinnamon brown sugar, fantastic. I vow to get there early enough one of these days to try their blueberry muffins, always sells out quick. They have a host of other pastries as well, you are missing out if you don't try this place.

This place was extremely disappointing…read more I've had their bread at local restaurants and always thought it was excellent, which is what motivated me to visit in person. Over the past few months, I tried stopping by three separate times, twice they were already closed, and once they had completely sold out of bread. I finally made it there on a Sunday morning, and they had only one loaf left, and not a type I wanted. We decided to order two egg and cheese sandwiches (one with turkey bacon). Both were terrible. The rolls were soft, soggy, wet, and flavorless. Each sandwich had a single egg placed off-center, so half the roll barely had any egg at all. The turkey bacon was so bad we removed it and threw it out. Normally, I would have just moved on and not returned. But what really pushed me to write this review (which I never write) was the carrot cake we purchased. We took it home, refrigerated it, and tried it later that evening. It was, without question, the worst piece of carrot cake I've ever had. The frosting was hard, dry, stale, and completely lacking flavor, no sweetness at all. The cake itself was equally bad: dry, crumbly, and utterly tasteless. There was no hint of carrot, cinnamon, nutmeg, or any spice, just bland, dry crumbs. The cake was completely lacking sugar. After two bites, we threw it in the garbage. I don't say this lightly. I've been cooking and baking for decades, hold a degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, and spent over 20 years in the industry. I've traveled extensively and eaten outstanding food around the world. For me, someone who genuinely loves desserts, to throw cake away (which is rare) says everything. I understand it was a Sunday and that fresh baking may not be happening that day, but it's simply not acceptable to sell baked goods from prior days that are clearly stale. Even more concerning than the staleness however, was the complete lack of flavor in the product. The sandwiches were disappointing, but that cake was on another level. I won't be returning for sandwiches or desserts, but perhaps the bread.

Plenty of cheese which I will never complain about but lacking enough basil. Truly just a couple sad leaves in there. Ultimately it was really more of a mozzarella sandwich. Service was very good and it's nice that you can sit outside at picnic tables. I did not have any of their pastries but wow they look incredible! I'll have to return for coffee and goodies!
