whoever worked 7/14 closing shift, was rude and i felt rushed. Asked if there was anymore sweets that was running low and immediately said no. I understand it was busy, maybe have more employees work instead of one. It was my first time here and I unfortunately won't be coming back with the experience that I had. read more

Great place to swing by and get a sweet-tooth fix. Clean and friendly, consistent product, easy to get to. I recommend the cheesecake flavor, with a touch of chocolate. Always a winning combo! Stop by and show some love! read more

Always make sure to stop in when I'm in town, the new owner is amazing and the service is top notch. These are long time locals that care about the community and their employees. The fact that it's yummy dessert just sweetens the deal! read more

We love Peachwave! Lots of fro-yo options. Tons of toppings to choose from. Clean environment, Friendly employees. read more

First time. Not able to eat inside; everything tasted stale. Wouldn't say it was anything special. Don't plan on going back.

Super nice service but wasn't wowed by any flavors - except the vanilla-- very creamy with an excellent madascar vanilla flavor.

Peachwave is absolutely delicious! The place has only been open for two days & it was completely packed when I visited! The self-serve concept is fabulous - I sampled the cheesecake, coconut, and strawberry flavors & it was AMAZING! (try the coconut!) The toppings are fresh & delicious - no canned, soggy fruit here!! I also really appreciated the workers quickly wiping up any over flow of frozen yogurt or toppings, the place is absolutely spotless. The price is very affordable too - most do-it-yourself places kill you on the price per pound, my husband & I went overkill on frozen yogurt & toppings & it was only $9 for the two of us! We couldn't have gotten large two sundaes anywhere else in the area for $9!! Keep it up Peachwave! I will definitely be back for more!!! read more

Peachwave - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Bethel, Connecticut

Great frozen yogurt place! I love the frozen yogurt here, it is very flavorful! The prices are reasonable and it is fun to make your own concoction using the different toppings. I've been here a few times now and it is much better than Pink Berry in Blue Back Square in West Hartford. read more

Watch out! This place is addictive! Peachwave has introduced a truly unique concept to this industry, self serve. Have as little or as much as you want and simply pay $0.39 cents an ounce. The yogurt here is tasty and affordable with some great toppings. The staff is friendly and welcoming. This is one of the best things to come to Bethel in a long time. read more

A new addiction has come to town! Open barely two weeks and lines are out the door as folks need their daily fix of key lime pie or strawberry cheesecake or mango or chocolate coconut truffle out any of the many other delicious yet low fat flavors. And don't forget the toppings bar with everything from sweet fresh fruit to indulgent chocolates and candies to a whole variety of syrups in flavors you didn't know they come in! A major YUM place! read more

Wonderful! Refreshing! Excellent! What else can I say? My kids and I love this place!

Frozen Yogurt isn't a new thing folks. Heard of I can't believe it's not yogurt or TCBY? That's right. You don't. Because they don't last. I rated this 4 stars based on food alone. Pricing is horrible. .39 an ounce is overpriced. Most dishes come out to be over $5. The self serve idea isn't new, just to Northerners. Enjoy this while it lasts. read more

being that i am in love with soft serve, and i love extra toppings this is by far my favorite treaty place. Usually treat myself to coconut, coffee and just added (atleast since the last time i went there, which may have been a few months ago) pistachio. SO GOOD. Always friendly service, and always have plenty of toppings. I am always surprised when I get my price i usually dont spend more then 3$ , which is awesome. Love the look of the place because it seems so bright and clean. Now if only one would open up by me....that would be dangerous. read more

Love this place! Love the idea of picking my own flavors. It's nice they offer fruit toppings and not just the 'normal' toppings. I go for the 'healthy' my wife goes for the 'chocolaty'. Can be very busy in the summer and even some weekend nights in the winter! We come here at least twice a month (more times in summer). Very cool atmosphere. The prices can be a bit high especially if you 'fill' your cup. They give you 2 choices of cups.....medium or large. Wish they offered a 'small'. read more

Yessssss. Finally bethel upgraded and has some nouveau technology. Thought were were stuck in the '90's for a minute but thank you for trusting us to make our own FroYo's now! read more

The place is ok. Nothing spectacular. Only ever has one staff on duty and the place could use 2. One to keep the machines and areas clean. Yelp has them open from 12:00 to 10:00 but the store has a sign on the door 12:00 to 9:00 Sunday to Thursday. read more

Peachwave is the most delicious and amazing yogurt ever, their are so many flavors to choose from, my family is addicted we go ever night now. Best thing ever to come to Bethel. The staff is so helpful, and friendly everybody is always smiling. Definietely recommend Peachwave of Bethel to everyone, get down there as soon as you can. read more

I don't like peachwave too much because their frozen yogurt is more watery compared to yogenfruz or froyo world. I suggest going to one of those instead. read more

I can't help but wonder when the whole frozen yogurt empire is going to come crashing down. Is it just me, or are there at least five different chains in every small town and city? My tiny college town had two of them on the same street, about a block apart. Though the ubiquity makes me roll my eyes sometimes, I enjoy stopping here every now and then. I like the do-it-yourself aspect (although why do they need four or five teenagers wandering around behind the counter when only one is needed to man the register?) and the sheer variety of flavors and toppings. The prices are reasonable and the location is great, as long as you're willing to deal with the roving packs of high school hipsters that wander over from Molten Java. Unfortunately, the do-it-yourself idea is a double-edged sword. The number of kids I've seen putting their hands in the toppings and touching the yogurt dispenser spouts makes me cringe. I remember standing before all the yogurt machines, watching a little girl put her finger into the dispenser, lick it clean, and put the same finger back for more. Two other kids were touching the candy toppings, ignoring the scoops and picking pieces out to eat. In both cases, the parents were looking the other way and the kids behind the counter were doing nothing to stop it. I've been to buffets with signs saying that kids under a certain age can't serve themselves, and I think Peachwave would benefit from such a system. I love kids, don't get me wrong, but I can't help but feel grossed out when their unwashed hands are in my food. Bored-looking kids behind the counter - maybe help police the self-serve aspects of the store? I'd prefer that the healthy froyo bacteria be the ONLY kind of bacteria in my dessert. read more

Holy Moley! I try to avoid "sweets shoppes" but this one is impossible to resist once you've tried it out! Serve yourself from any of the numerous frozen yogurt flavors, then top it with tantalizing fresh fruits, cookie crumbles, nonpareils, M&M's ... you name it! This is SOOOOO much better than what you can find in your supermarket or grocery store, and you've customized it to your liking all by yourself! This is just one morel reason to include Dolan Plaza in your shopping itinerary. read more

This place is awesome other than there aren't more locations! The yogurts are good consistency (no big ice crystals), the fruits and toppings are fresh. There are sorbets, and tart plain yogurt as well as several sweet flavors. The sauces are delish. No complaints - I love this place! read more

What a refreshing concept! The variety of flavors (14!!!) offer something for everyone. My favorites so far include the key lime and orange creamsicle-perfect for the heat wave we've been having. From the moment you walk in the door-everyone is smiling and helpful. The decor is bright and eye catching. I was impressed by the overall cleanliness of the yogurt stations and toppings bar. The choices of toppings range from fresh fruit options, dry cereal, nuts, and all kinds of candy. Something for everyone! read more

What I love about Peachwave is that you can smother your frozen yogurt with a heap of different goodies, or try the sugar free with some healthy fruit. It works for celebratory days and diet days alike. Watch your ounces. The price can add up to more than you'd expect because they charge by the ounce. Also, they could put a little more variety in the sugar free selections. I really recommend though. read more

The absolute best peach wave I have ever gone to! The frozen yogurt tastes just like ice cream, and is way better then any other places froyoz Although every Peach wave is great, this one always has the best flavors, best toppings, friendly service, and an overall great environment. I love the upstairs! Peach wave will always get 5 stars from me. Never disappointed. read more

The flavors are constantly changing, which I guess can be a good thing, but very disappointing when you go in craving a certain flavor, and leave with something completely different. The ingredients are cheap...chocolate chips have been replaced with small, waxy, "Carob chips," or the vegan alternative to chocolate. Also, the cheesecake bits are completely gone as of my visit tonight. Peachwave in Bethel is always popping and full of people, but the employees are anything but pleasant. Don't get me wrong, they aren't bad, they just aren't good. No smiles, no greeting, just a short memorized script. read more

There must be something about self-serve that sets this place apart from the pack. YOU decide the flavors and quantities that you want. The toppings are varied and range from fresh fruit to crushed whoppers. Hot fudge and strawberry toppings. Whipped cream. The place has been packed every time that we have gone, and the only complaint might be that it takes a while to get to the register and meanwhile the frozen yogurt is melting. A speedier check out would be nice. But still, this place is worth a ride over to Bethel! read more

Peachwave is an ultra-modern looking frozen yogurt menagerie, the major draw being that you dispense your own yogurt and toppings; and then you pay by the weight, which at Peachwave is rather cheap. Peachwave is exceptionally clean and sleek looking, I think it's best described as the Apple Store of ice creameries. There's a plentiful amount of seating both inside and outside making it very comfortable and a hot-spot of social activity in town. If there's one downside to Peachwave, and it's one that I personally have a hard time accepting, it's that all the frozen yogurt is diet in some fashion; sugar-free, low-sugar, low-fat, and fat-free, but unlike TCBY (another frozen yogurt exclusive place) there's no regular frozen yogurt. I think that, honestly, if you're making the conscious decision to eat frozen yogurt, you should expect it to be unhealthy as a cost of it being so delicious. I often find myself having to add an extra amount of toppings to mask the funky diet after-taste. Peachwave is certainly worth checking out, and for long-time residents of the area it's worth noting that Peachwave certainly replaced Scoops as King Ice Cream; however, until they add an option to just enjoy good old fashioned frozen yogurt without an odd diet taste to it, I can't enthusiastically recommend it. read more
