Haven't been able to find a coffee shop since moving here that I didn't have to pay extra for more espresso, so that was super cool. I was invited to meet a friend at this coffee shop and I had never been. I walked in and it felt family owned or a small business. It was warm and welcoming. I grabbed a table to wait for my friend and noticed that they are more than a coffee shop. They have a full breakfast option. I asked for a latte and it was made exactly how I wanted it. It was flavorful and the coffee not sour which means they have the right temperature on the water. The burrito was so big that I have yo call it a horse ! This shop has potential to be great, but my biggest issue is that the staff is constantly messing up my orders. The food isn't cheap, so when you get it wrong it's extremely frustrating. My friend's order was great she said. My coffee tasted too watery and oatmeal was made of half and half cow milk. It was a simple mistake so my oatmeal was remade with almond milk- no charge. Thankful for that. Oatmeal tasted good. I couldn't finish my coffee or reorder it. Service was nice and I appreciated the customer service when my order was wrong with not problem. Everything was perfect! Breakfast portion were huge and everything tasted wonderful and was piping hot! I did a BYO Omelette & Latte. There are options for Gluten Free & Dairy Free for coffees and for the butter used in food. For the latte, they use 5 syrup pumps in a 16oz (much like the large coffee shops) i like two pumps so I always ask how many are used and reduce as needed. My 2 pump latte was very good! Right away, when you walk in you are welcomed with a lovely atmosphere & calm music. The service was wonderful, quick but she still managed to talk to me about my day. I had never been here before, and she went to ask the chef if they could accommodate my egg changes. Very kind. The only thing that didn't shock me was the coffee. A bit bitter for my liking, but if you order an extra shot in your coffee of whatever flavor you like, that should take that bitterness away. I went at 8:45am and there was one car in front of me and I waited 15 MINUTES for them to finish serving the car in front of me. They had one drink and some type of food. The girl at the window was chatting away with another employee when I got to the window and had no awareness that customers have been waiting so long. After driving by this place every week, reading good reviews, and talking about trying this place out, we finally decided to see what the experience was like here. First, there is a drive thru which I think is awesome, very helpful for people on the go. Second, there are a couple of seats for outdoor seating right in front of the shop. For the inside, they did an excellent job making it look like a coffee shop. It had a very similiar look to Smokey Row in Des Moines, but then again that is also just a coffee shop look. There are many comfortable seating options for studying and FREE WIFI! You will see the password to the WiFi when ordering your drink. We ordered their specials (we think they are specials) the Firework and the S'more's Mocha. I also got a big chocolate chip cookie. If I could describe the coffee and cookie briefly, I would say "Not bad". Let's just say I would be willing to pay for their drinks for the peaceful studying or chatting with friends atmosphere. read more
