I came for brunch on friday and since I was by myself, I was seated right away. It was definitely packed so I'd recommend reservations on the weekend. Idk if it was just that day but service was very slow. They took awhile before getting my order (I had to flag someone down eventually) and they never checked on me during the meal. The food was good though. I enjoyed my french toast a lot. I wasn't a fan of the chai latte, it was very small and didn't have enough chai to milk ratio

Really cozy and nice vibe during the winter. You can sit by the window and people watch a little bit. The food and service are great. The capuchino i ordered came spilled though with my cup sitting in a puddle in the tray. The salmon salad was tasty and a good portion size. The pancakes were delicious.

TL:DR: go for the vibes, it's on a cute street. Get the hash browns, fish tacos, and pancakes. It's overpriced cuz Williamsburg Don't get the matcha- it was clumpy. Get it from matchaful down the street if you want first. Service- super friendly

I got the eggs and hash, it was pretty average but still kind of pricey. The frozen coffee was good though!

Café Colette is such a gem. They have a great oyster special during the week that's definitely worth it, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. The vibe is cozy and stylish, which makes it a perfect spot to unwind after work or catch up with friends.

I really love the ambiance here . The place is really beautiful and the servers here are so attentive and kind . But my three stars is more geared towards the food . I got the fish and chips which was $27 bucks . Fine that sounds about right . But cutting into the fish there was no seasoning . No depth . Just a sprinkling of salt and pepper on the top . So I had to make it taste like something with hot sauce and Mayo and ketchup (being that I'm dairy free ) it's a cute place and my friend really enjoyed her burger . But I think personally I wouldn't be back . I would need more food options to venture into . But it's a beautiful place . The fries were so yummy but I just wasn't impressed with the meal at that price .

Really cute brunch spot. I wasn't feeling too hungry, so I got the half portion of the French Toast. I thought it was really neat that they offered a half portion, I've never seen that anywhere else! The French Toast was absolutely delicious. Everything from the texture to the maple syrup was great. I also got the hashbrowns, which I didn't realize came in block form. Never seen that before! They were pretty good, but because they were in block form, the insides didn't really have any seasoning. The seasoning on the outside was delicious, but once you got the potato part inside, it was kind of bland.

Loved the staff and service here! Cute little lunch spot great coffee and loved the arugula salad with chicken. Light refreshing as my mom and I keep walking the area. Def try it out!

Try to make happy hour if you can since the fish tacos and rolls are on there! The drinks themselves were decent, cocktails about $5 off. Lasts til 7p, Colette rolls were amazing! Well buttered and could use potentially a little bit more sea salt sprinkled but so good. The fish taco was also good although a bit delayed in ordering, not sure why it came out about 30 minutes after I ordered when there weren't many tables. The mafalde and pesto was extremely good-I do think maybe addition of protein could have elevated. Nice to sit outside if weather is appropriate.

Super cute atmosphere! 2 of us went in without a reservation on a Friday night and were able to get seats at the bar. I ordered the Caesar salad and Brussels sprouts side. Both were delicious. I had a glass of red to go with dinner. Their wine menu wasn't too big but had good options. The bartender took good care of us.

My boyfriend found this place when he was searching for "best brunch places in Brooklyn" and this was 100% accurate! The service was fantastic and the food was out of this world. The vibes at Cafe Colette are immaculate and feel similar to a cafe in France, we sat in the garden room which is bright and perfect for any climate. Our group was so excited about all of the food options and could not decide what to order, but we were not disappointed with our decisions. Here is what we had: - Grilled Cheese (the three different cheeses made this dish! This is a must!) - Hamburger ( my friend said that the hamburger was cooked to perfection and the fries were out of this world) - Fried Eggs & Eggs and Hash (omg!! I tried the hash brown and it tasted like it was sent from heaven) The service was impeccable and made us feel at home, the food came out very quickly and the water glasses never ran dry. I highly recommend Cafe Colette and cannot wait to come back again soon! Thanks for a wonderful Brunch experience!!

THE best crispiest French fries and 1/2 dz oysters on a beautiful Tuesday afternoon

A great place to stop for an afternoon glass of wine, which is what my sister and I did. We sat outside under the warm sun and were greeted promptly by our server. We needed something to nosh on with our glasses of wine so we ordered fries and 1/2 dz oysters. The fries were DELICIOUS. Shoestring style and perfectly crisp and salted just right. So simple but done so right. The oysters tasted fresh but I'm also no oyster connoisseur. Cafe Colette was a great way to kick off my vacay in Brooklyn. If the rest of the food is anything like their fries, this is a great place to try if you're in the neighborhood. The vibe is very casual but still feels fancy enough to have wine and oysters al fresco!

My favorite dish here is probably the mussels, great flavor and would probably go well with a glass of wine! The first time I came I tried a cocktail which was very good but because the dishes are very flavorful it might have been too much sugar/salt. This place was the winner, and it was everyone's first time. We got in at our reserved time, and we had to wait about 5 minutes before our table was ready. Once it was, we were taken care of and quite frankly had no idea what treat we were in for! Let's start with the drinks. They have a drink on the menu called Celadon City. Who won the staff as a pokémaniac?! I had to get it just for the name. The rice vodka, yuzu, melon liqueur, and other flavors made it a fantastic, summery drink. My friends got the Smooth Landing & Smooth Talker ... One was a fantastic dirty martini and the other had the best bite of ginger. The food... Oh my God. We decided to split the breads and spreads and burrata... Each came with their housemade grilled focaccia, and the smoked paprika hummus and ricotta with chili honey? WHEW! The burrata dish with the sweet potato, pesto and tomato jam was a hit too. The menu didn't even say I'd have a balsamic drizzle on top! All of that was just the warm up... My gnocchi dish was spectacular. I'm not even a big mushroom person, but those oyster mushrooms and charred kale were a hit in the pasta. My friends' gigli pasta and mussels were great too. We ended up sharing a bottle of white wine as well, and the dinner was truly a 5/5. 0 I would absolutely go back, and it seems like their menu changes every now and then. I'm looking forward to the next time! Even if it's just for a cocktail.

The ceviche was probably the best ceviche I've ever had in my life. It was blood orange based, but the citrus was really well balanced. The king oyster mushroom dish was soo delicious. It's a beautifully designed space, and we went in the evening so it was dimly lit and had good tunes, contributing to an intimate and cool vibe. The service throughout was good both by our primary server and the rest of the team that was bringing out dishes. For the food, we did not feel that it was a strong start, but the ending was great! The first dish to come out was their cornbread, which we agreed was very light and had a super tender texture, but there was just nothing special about the taste profile to us. The second dish were their prawns. We couldn't put our finger on the off-putting flavor in there, but we agreed that something just wasn't right and almost tasted spoiled. You also had to work a bit to dissect the prawns and remove the heads and skin. To work for it and then not enjoy the taste wasn't a great combo for us, unfortunately. It started turning around with their sweet potatoes, a type I'd never had before that were "baby" and purple on the outside while white inside. They served the potatoes with a gorgeously whipped Greek yogurt that added the exact right amount of tang to balance the sweet potato and the herby topping. The stars of the night were the coconut basmati rice and the lamb shank. My goodness! The rice dish was so complex from a flavor and texture profile and just hit all the right notes for us, and that lamb! Definitely one of the best lamb dishes I've had - Impossibly tender and seasoned to perfection. One other note I'll make regarding drinks is that they did not have a strong wine list. I ended up ordering a red, but later heard our waiter recommend against getting their wine to another table and suggesting their cocktails and mocktails instead. Just something to keep in mind if you're a wine lover!

Perfection The charred white asparagus with sable fish with Shiro miso and green garlic was a complete surprise - delicious. Another superstar was the soft egg sitting in a sea of blue crab meat - in a brown butter garam salt bath. Served with a crusty baguette that we used to lap up all the amazingly tasty sauce. The tuna especially tasted incredibly fresh and balanced, and the clams had such a light, clean flavor that worked perfectly with the wine.
