This is my new favorite Mediterranean food joint after my old favorite closed down. Everything I've tried here is delicious. I always get the plates. It comes with a kabob, 2 sides, basmati rice, and pita bread. I usually get the chicken kabob because it's always delicious, juicy, and tender. I've also tried the lamb lule kabob (ground lamb) and it was also yummy. AND CHEAP. I think lamb at other places are $14+ but here it's $9.50 (I think). For my sides, I love getting the shirazi salad. It's a mix of chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions with a sour dressing. It's amazing to eat with the meat. I also like getting a dip for my pita bread, either hummus or cucumber yogurt. This place can't be beat in terms of food quality, variety, and price. My cousin decided to bring me dinner because I was babysitting my niece and OMFGGGGGG I can say pretty legit for takeout.. like seriously I've never had such good takeout and not over cooked or soggy! She got me the chicken kebab and I chose pasta salad and the hummus. It came with 2 pita but I didn't know so I asked for another side order of bread. Had Cafe Bravo catering for my son's first birthday and it was a hit! The food was delicious and they delivered it to the party location nice and hot, and right on time! Everyone loved the food - babies loved the rice and meats, and the older folks and grandparents loved the sides - of course hummus, but also the garlic sauce, ikra, and Armenian pickles. Placing the order was a breeze over the phone and they were very patient with my many questions. Portions were plentiful, we had leftovers to send home with our guests. Have picked up catering for years. Unfortunately, this will be my last. Had a bad experience with an employee. She made us wait for about 20 minutes pre-online order. A few customers walked in after us and with no waiting, she gave them their orders. I went up to ask another employee for my order and he said it was ready long ago. I did not want to argue with him to inform him that the lady had me waiting. My brother suggested getting the food and not returning to this place. Don't order the schawerma. Looks like its boiled and then seasoned. Not like the picture in the menu. They had no onions or tomatoes which is a must with schawerma!!!. Shouldn't have to ask... it's part of the package. The young girl at the counter didn't care and didn't offer a substitute nor told me after I ordered. Had I known would of ordered something else. When I saw my plate she said no they have no onions...I said " what about tomatoes and the turnip pickles???" She was stoic. No response and walked away LOL.. okay... no character. bomb ass food always on point can't think of a time i could say i had anything bad to say about it

First time here..my co-workers have always been ranting and raving about this place. I have to say I was quite impressed. The food was really good and super duper cheap. I ordered the chicken lule kebab-ground chicken..yumm! I've had better kebabs but for the price and the portions and the 2 sides and pita bread you get with it is freaken awesome. I've gone to another places and they give you a tomato and pepper..I don't even eat tomatoes and the pepper is too hot..sooo the fact that you have a variety of choices to pick from for sides is awesome. Hummus was okay but the yogurt with spinach was yummmyyy..the pickled vegetables were yum and the garlic sauce is the bomb diggy. I would definitely come back to this place again and totally recommend it...Would never have gone here if a friend didn't recommend it..glad they did. I ordered flank meat and what I was given was falling apart and very mushy taste like cheap alternative meat. The whole plate wasn't appetizing at all. Came here on Mother's Day and of course it was super packed. I want to commend the manager ( the Latino man who speaks Spanish) he has tremendous patience and attention to detail. People are mad, it's hot, you still have to social distance, the phones ringing off the hook, orders coming in like crazy and he keeps it all together. Ok, let's talk about the food, AMAZING! The food used to be very good hear in the past, but recently the portions have been small, the sides are hot and disgusting and Elbert overpriced. The lamb chops are also very small. I think they are practicing in shrinkflation. read more

The food is solid even though like they skimp on seasoning. Because some of the salads and even meat lacks flavor. SEASONING is your FRIEND NOT ENEMY!!! The problem with this place is that I don't think the owner manager gives a darn !!! I say this because they are either not there and they clearly don't care about the reviews. The younger people managing the register are very nice even when they get things wrong. Therefore, I'm very patient with them and I appreciate them learning. However, the COOKS have an attitude problem. If I want something customized then I should be able to have it customized to my liking. I am paying for the food which then pays for your salary. So attitude is not necessary. If you don't wanna make modifications or be flexible then you should not work there or at any restaurant . All of the rolling of the eyes and talking under your breath is not needed. And they do like to say they're close before they are closing time. It could be 15-20 minutes before actual closing and they will say they're closed. Sometimes the time listed on the door and online do not match what they say. There was a time that I went in an hour ahead of time and they stated that they are closed. I said well your door says otherwise. We are fans of Cafe Bravo. Being in the Glendale area, you better be pretty good to survive as there is a lot of ethnic restaurants here. This place is consistent and the food is always pretty good. Its somewhere between a eat there or take out place but we find ourselves usually taking it home. Its not an exceptionally big restaurant but there are tables well suited for groups of four so its going to be a little tricky to find adjacent tables for larger groups. Disney likes to order from here and even when we have large orders, they are usually correct so they are able to handle catering when needed. I would just say that I had to mark them down because they have one of those Coke machines that mixes hundreds of different combinations. But the machine always seem to be broken when we eat there. That and they messed up my order twice with take out. I didn't notice it until I got home. Luckily, the manager was nice enough to credit us back but he only did it once out of two times. But this place is still worth it. read more

Been here a couple times and have had my parents bring food from there for meal time at home. This is definitely one of my favorite places to get food from because the quality of food is great. Depending on what you get you can choose from different kinds of meats, such as lamb, beef, and chicken and also pick from their numerous sides like the hummus and the corn and bean salad, which are my favorites. Only giving 2 stars because service is good and they're friendly. The food is just not good. The chicken kabob is dry, the rice has zero flavor and very basic. The sides I got were the hummus and yogurt spinach. Yogurt and spinach is supposed to be cold and refreshing and it was legit warm and nasty. The hummus is very bland too.
