Chili chicken soup
Alicia W.

We like the western village casino and café bellini. A lot of time we go there for the oh so delicious and gigantic banana split. But this time we went for dinner. I gave into my fried food craving and ordered the sampler platter for dinner. I mainly wanted the nachos, but I got the platter. Good deal for everything you get. My husband ordered the fish special. We love that they change specials every week. When you go, the must have is the green chili chicken soup. It is one of my all time favorite soups. The staff is always nice, and the place is always clean. Can't wait to go over to Pancho and Willie's again though.

Fish and chips.

Standard casino fare cafe. Nothing great about it but also nothing bad either from what I've tried so far. Got the fish and chips this time around and wasn't disappointed. The pieces of fish were decent sized and filling. It's a casino so expect to get that loud casino atmosphere and lingering smell of smoke. If that doesn't bother you then this is a decent cafe for a variety of menu items and late or early bite to eat.

Last month my friends and I were craving for something sweet and looking for nearby cafe to go to. We were not aware that the western Village In and casino had this cute little cafe in it. We found it through yelp and I must say hit a jackpot! They have a variety of items on their menu like burgers, salads, appetisers , beverages and desserts. Since then it has been our go to place for late night dessert runs. We have tried their brownie with icecream ( we always get it without sprinkles), New york cheesecake, and dessert of the month. All their desserts are tasty and come in huge quantities. Special shoutout to the sweet staff members that make our visit comfortable.

We came for weekly specials. Lasaña and won ton soup. It was good as always. We come and do some gambling and have a nice dinner. It is always nice when you win and cover dinner.

A cup plus an entire mug pf coffee with a bowl of creamer and sweeteners plus a tall glass of uce water.

I had a craving for steak and eggs, and wanted to try it from a restaurant I've never been to before. I was running an errand early this morning and I was in the neighborhood, so I went to Western Village's Cafe Bellini. Since it was so early (barely 7am) the restaurant had a few diners but wasn't too busy. The cashier, greeted me warmly as I approached to check out the daily specials posted atop the host's station; he then inquired if I wanted a table, I confirmed and he walked me to a nearby booth. The staff and cooks were pretty jovial as they busily prepared their stations for service. I asked coffee and a glass of ice-water from my server, Lilliam (according to the receipt), then ordered steak and eggs when she dropped off my drinks. The coffee was good and she left me the entire coffee pot plus a bowl full of creamer to enjoy. The food arrived with a minimal amount of wait; it looked amazing-- one medium-well sirloin flanked by golden hash browns, a mini blueberry muffin and three perfectly cooked over medium eggs. I also received a generous four slices of buttery, white toast. The eggs and has browns were perfect; however, I can't say the same for the steak. It tough, chewy and bland; no only did I add a bit more salt but doused it with A1 Steak sauce, ate it together with the eggs and hash browns just so it would have some flavor. At $23+ a pop, I have to admit, it was pretty disappointing. The total price for my breakfast (including tip) came up to about $40-- that's pretty steep for just one person. The service was great but the food could have been better; so in summary, it'll be a while before I return; my experience was alright, and $40 is to high a price for a mediocre meal, especially for my fixed income .

Salmon

Enjoyed a meal here tonight. Salmon which was nicely cooked very flavorful with a light crust from the grill. It came with a large baked potato and fresh broccoli. I had a nice salad which came before my main meal and a warm loaf of bread with butter. Very affordable complete meal. Friendly service as usual here!

French dip with wedges

My favorite spot to get a French Dip. The best French dip ever, with lots of meat and hot wedge fries. Yummmmm

My Scramble after i mixed it with ketchup and eggs over easy. It was prettier before I did that.

Gone are the days of the great specials here. Now they call it a special $12.95 for Breakfast and Dinner. There are cheaper places to eat. The food here is still good. We used to eat here all the time because there was a lot of food for a fantastic price. The price meant we could eat here more frequently and of course, stay to gamble a little. The prices are in range with everywhere else. However, I think if they wanted more business they would bring back breakfast specials, early bird or sunset specials.

We were pleasantly greeted & seated immediately, then just like that, our server (Ramon Jr) was at our table, took our drink order & answered a few questions. I'm glad I had perused the menu yesterday & pretty much knew what I wanted, my daughter ordered Ramon's Skillet & I had the Chicken Fried Steak and eggs ( gravy on the side). Portions were huge. I was glad cuz I had been fasting due to a medical procedure. They know what they are doing in the kitchen, eggs were perfectly over medium w/ crispy edges just the way I like them. The chicken fried steak was really Milanese style, perfectly crispy like I'm used to in Mexico, I tasted the gravy & it was really good but once I realized it wasn't American style CFS, I asked our waiter for salsa & pico to put on top!!! Perfection!! I had a lot to tangle with on my own plate but my daughter & I swapped bites of each others dishes, hers came with soft tortillas, the bite I had melted in my mouth! Couldn't finish either plate so decided to take the rest to go. There are many items on the menu I want to try so we will definitely be back!

Just make sure to account for the wait on weekends, since it can take 30 minutes or more to get in. You know it's good when you see regulars coming back and people celebrating special occasions here. I really enjoyed my iced coffee topped with Baileys, which was a nice little treat with brunch. My favorite was the nacho fries. The ooey-gooey cheese paired with the crispy fries made them hard to stop eating! The carne asada plate was also delicious, and there was plenty of food to enjoy. The crispy berry French toast wasn't my favorite since I was hoping for more crunch, but I did like the sweetness and berries. It definitely satisfied my sweet tooth. Overall, a great brunch spot to have in the area. The ambiance is feels like home and I'd come back to try more of the menu!

I got there kind of late morning and was surprised to get a table without issue. The place was about half filled and got choice of table. No issue getting a table without my friends arriving yet which was nice. Combed over the menu and had a couple things on my radar which got thrown for a loop when I was told "You can make any scramble a burrito or taco". WHAT??? How do you not love that? And why aren't more places doing this? Opted for the Traditional breakfast burrito made into tacos. Felt like it was the most complete option of items that I would want in a taco versus some of the others like having potatoes in it or something. Came with choice of potatoes, pico, and salsa. The pico and salsa were just the right amount for the 3 tacos. I really enjoyed the tacos, but wish it had a bit more protein. I probably would have been better off with sausage or maybe adding sausage to have both. Me and a buddy also split a side of French toast. I had heard they have the best french toast and while I'm not a big french toast fan (i enjoy it, just never order it), It was great. Not great enough to convert me to getting it, but definately one of the better ones ive had. We will be back again for sure. Wish I remembered the servers name, she was great. I think it was Alana.

From the outside, Peg's looks like any other mom and pop breakfast spot but after my first time experience there I can say it's anything but! I mean, holy portion control, batman! Every booth was filled with groups of people and every single one was happily munching away at their plate. The service is fast and the food is hearty... so if you are stopping by, be sure to come with an appetite! I highly recommend the eggs Benedict (chorizo was my preference) or the French toast. But I'll tell you what... no matter what you order... get a side of biscuits. Peg's is home to the best tasting biscuit that has ever graced these lips. I can promise you that!! Their breakfast menu is tempting, but it was after Eleven A.M. and I was craving a hamburger bad. My friend who accompanied me wanted a plain cheese omelette, she is a very basic eater which is her choice to only order familiar food. Boring ! Anyway, beyond the food, the service was great and the staff is wonderful. I urge anyone who hasn't tried this place to definitely add it to your list, I'm certain it will become a favorite. The only complaint is that on this particular day the kitchen was short staffed and we did wait awhile for our food to arrive, but I'm patient with these kinds of things after working in the restaurant industry for many years. So the food arrived and my eyes popped out of my head when my burger arrived, the patty was meaty and the vegetables on the burger were fresh. I chose the Mushroom Swiss burger, Wow ! Every bite was delicious and the French Fries were so crisp and delicious. I filled my belly to its limit with this meal. Oh, and my friend's omelette was unbelievable it was so fluffy and it was served steaming, every bite steam kept rising from it, it's like nothing we had ever seen, unbelievable ! As for me I probably won't be ordering a burger anywhere else. Excellent ! I did also order a Latte and it was filled to the rim and quite good. They definitely deserve 5 Stars.
