I'm sad this use to be my go to place to eat 4 years. The food bad last time .so heard it was better and thought . I would give them a chance to redeem themselves. I had a Reuben sandwich .the sandwich didn't have dressing on it. Thousand island i believe .I had tots instead of fries . They tasted like very oiled oil was used. My partner had breakfast. Simple eggs with cheese and bisque and gravy . Safe choice she thought. But that wasn't the case the cheese on the eggs wasn't melted the gravy cold the bisque old and doughy . The chicken fried steak .Said same as me tasted like very old oil was used . Also most of the food was cold when it got to us. Like I said it saddens me because this was my go to place. But even the items u used to carry don't exist . Monte cristco sandwich or a very tasty Ramen that was spicy that I always looked forward to getting. Also I don't understand why they seat so far on the bottom of the restaurant when they use to seat on top and fast seating . Also just to get seated 5 people in line then me and my partner 15 min . I went there to get a quick breakfast early in the morning. After getting sat a server came up within minutes to take my order and I kept it simple and ordered the first thing I saw on their deal menu and ordered the 777 Breakfast combo that has been advertised all over the casino. He asked how I wanted my eggs and if I wanted bacon or sausage. After a short wait my meal arrives and I am in the middle of working so I have a few bites while answering emails. After a while we got to the end of the service and a second server drops off a check while I am still eating. When I take a look I realize that the meal I am being billed for is almost 3 times the amount of what I had ordered. I asked the server that dropped off the check if he had brought me the correct ticket and pointed out the mistake and he said he would have to ask the original server. When the original server comes back he's got some attitude about him and says he doesn't understand what's wrong and that I had ordered the griddle combo that came with French toast. I understand he has plenty of tables but this is my first meal of the day and I am completely lucid, I know what I ordered I tell him that is incorrect and that he only ever asked what eggs I wanted and if I preferred bacon or sausage. He disagrees with me again and says he is sure he heard me ask for the combo. I guess someone has had a long day. They eventually bring over a manager and she says because I have already eaten the food they cannot change the price I will be charge but she can offer me a $7 discount. Whoopie! So yeah my breakfast quickly became a near $20 mistake that I got to pay for. Oh well. It was our third time visiting Cafe Aquarius. We come for the chicken wings which are amazing, usually the staff is okay with service. But not this time around. The hostess Connie was rude, she walked up to us holding menus and was literally like an inch away from my face..when I (the guest) had to finally say hello. She replied hi with a side of huff in her voice. That's a big no no in the service industry. The host should be the one to do the initial greeting first, as the host you're the first interaction that the guest has with the restaurant. Do NOT have Mindy as your server!! We were there for the past holiday weekend (Wednesday-Sunday) and we were tired of eating panda, McDonald's and subway so we went here for breakfast. Let me start off by saying these stars I'm giving are only for the FOOD itself. We got biscuit and gravy. It was so fresh and then we got the French toast.. it was plain but sooooooo delicious. Also a coffee and a Dr Pepper. But from the moment we sat... it took awhile to get our drink order.. it took awhile for the drinks to get back (and she forgot what my husband wanted) so when she came back we made sure to order the food!! (Keep in mind she came around maybe every 20 minutes, from placing drink order to bringing drinks.. food took longer to come out) Our server didn't have a personality at all! The seemed like she could have possibly been having a bad day... was over worked or just completely hated her job.. never smiled. Seemed like whenever someone in her section called her over she was impatient... like she had other things better to do. My husband had a long night of course it being a casino so he just wanted to get the ticket and pay and kinda walk around and go outside to get fresh air while me and the baby ate.. so when she walked by I asked her for the check. She looked irritated and at our table thinking like well you haven't even got your food yet. And I told her my husband just wants to pay for our meal so he can go outside.. I gave her her tip there cash as well and she just put the ticket down on the table took the cash and walked away. No thank you or anything SO food comes I'm eating check is already paid for. (Eggs came out wrong) she 2nd guessed me untill she looked at her little book that I did order my eggs a certain way... goes to fix the problem. We're already done with our meal by the time the eggs come back.. but she had already walked away so I couldn't grab a box.. The two tables next to us need boxes so when they flagged her down for boxes she walked to the server station talking under her breath... that's when I realized she must clearly hate her job. I get bad that I was so bothered by this.. but I as well needed a box.. so I said Mindy. Can we get a box as well. I must of pushed her over the edge cus she didn't even bring us box back I think she has the hostess do it. At that point I told the hostess our concern... about Mindy.. she apologized and must of went straight into the server sections and told Mindy what we said because over the wall we heard " WELL IF THEY WOULD OF JUST WAITED 5 MORE MINUTES THEY WOULD OF GOTTEN THE SERVICE THEY DESERVED" UM NO Mindy! If you ever read this. Your working customer service. You provide friendly customer service from the moment you great the tables! Not if we waited 5 more minutes once our food was already DONE cus we waited out WHOLE visit for you to be nice!! But once I hear her say that all rude over on the other side of the wall... it took every ounce of me to not just make a scene get management or anyone involved. You did not deserve your tip. You do not deserve your job! You definitely don't deserve a nice station by the window that's prob most Requested! And you don't deserve any more service if you don't change your attitude!! Look the lady at the register taking your money might be the biggest B**** I have ever witnessed in my life. I waited there for over 20 mins while she refused to honor a 20 dollar hotel comp for food on the 72 year old man in front of me. This old man even started to cry. It was beyond awkward. Might be one of the most uncomfortable experiences of my entire life. I was like, just give the guy his 20 dollars off. Oh no she didn't, the manager got called and then the B***** started to cry. Honestly I was getting pretty pissed off when her Crocodile tears started to flow. I just wanted to get out of that place and pay my damn bill. I am a fan of the casino cafe that serves good meals 24-7 at a delicious price. With that said I am a fan of Cafe Aquarius (on the Riverwalk side of The Aquarius Hotel). In my honest opinion the food at Cafe Aquarius is as agreeable to the tastebuds as an overrated high-priced restaurant. Cafe Aquarius is a praiseworthy value. In the last two Saturdays, I have dined here twice. I never planned to eat here. On my way to check out the Aquarius Buffet, the sign advertising the $11.99 prime rib special stopped me. What a deal! For $11.99 Cafe Aquarius offered a cup of soup or bowl of salad, mashed potatoes with gravy, mixed vegetables, and a scoop of chocolate ice cream. The Aquarius Cafe was sporadically populated with patrons. This meant that I walked right in and the friendly Waitress soon took my order. In the same style as the typical cafe, the server served my beverage ahead of the Waitress taking my order. There was a decent gap in the time between the order and when the cup of chicken noodle soup arrived on the table. Worth it! They just made the chicken noodle soup and it was delicious. Still they could of added more noodles to make it above delicious. I didn't even finish the soup, when the waitress delivered a plate with prime rib, mashed potatoes with gravy, and mixed vegetables. With the exception of some fat issues, the prime rib was large and delicious. The meal ended with a scoop of chocolate ice cream. Fast forward to last Saturday, and I ate here with my brother. It was late at night, and all the restaurants from the Colorado Belle were closed or had poor Yelp ratings. And so, on my follow-up dining experience at the Aquarius Cafe, I ordered the $8.99 late night fish & chips special. It was fish & chips fit for a king. All three pieces of fish were out of this world. Ditto for the Cole slaw. And the french fries were of a high quality. Both times I dined here, a friendly hardworking Waitress took care of my table. Both waitresses were attentive with beverage refills and customer service. The soundtrack to dining in the Aquarius Cafe was oldies music. This is appropriate feel good rock n roll to listen to while enjoying a tasty meal. When it comes to desert and your not too comfortable, I suggest walking across the casino to Duet's. This is the Aquarius's former Starbuck's turned coffee & wine shop that also serves deserts. My second biggest tip for dining in the Aquarius Cafe is to sign up for the Ace card. This is the exact card of the Aquarius's sister properties The Stratosphere and Arizona Charlie's. Signing up is as easy as 1-2-3. The Ace card saves 10% off the Aquarius Cafe. This includes the advertised $11.99 Prime Rib special that totals out to $13.25 minus the Ace card. My biggest tip for dining in the Aquarius Cafe is to give it a try when you visit Laughlin. read more

During our stay in Laughlin at the Aquarius hotel and casino we dined here for breakfast before heading back to Las Vegas. This Café has really good food at decent prices and a large and varied menu to select from. I had a Denver omelet w/biscuits and gravy which is an option besides toast at no additional charge! I had coffee and was presented with my own carafe so that I could pour as I wanted and not have to wait for refills My sweetie pie had their breakfast scramble w/biscuits and gravy included as well. The food was great, cooked from scratch, and lots of it so make sure you are hungry as this is not the place to go for a lite bite. The service was prompt and friendly, we did not have to wait for anything during our visit. Use your ACE play casino card, as they do have a 10 percent discount on your meal when you present it when you pay. Winner winner chicken dinner! We always stay at the Aquarius and we always have breakfast at the Cafe Aquarius before we head home. It was absolutely delicious again! I really can only blame myself for this, as I actually read the Yelp reviews before our visit and decided to chance it since we were staying in the hotel and in a hurry to hit the road. Big mistake. Where do I even start? It took over an hour to get our food and when we got it, it was ice cold. Ever taste cold biscuits and gravy? Not very appetizing. And the cook really needs to learn how to make eggs overeasy (see my photo). The corned beef hash is from a can, which honestly was the least of my concerns. And finally, our server, Ronnie was a disaster. A little Adderall would go a long way for this lad. "Can I have some more water?" "Sure!", says Ronnie. Never came. I had to go into the kitchen and grab my own refill. "All ready for the check, Ronnie." Never came. I had to have another waitress print it out for me. And it wasn't just us. All I heard around me were cranky old codgers wondering what the heck was going on with their waiter and complaining to managers about their messed up orders. Staying at the Aquarius hotel for the 4th of July weekend and currently the buffet is closed due to Covid 19. First I would like to start with saying that they are following the Covid guidelines plus more. Everyone is with masks (they even have people walking around to give masks if you are not with one), gloves that they change all the time, people walking around remaining everyone to masks on, social distancing enforced, lines in the floor and a lot of staff cleaning all the time. I feel really secured. Line was a little long for the cafe but it kept on moving. The moment we got to the head of the line we were greeted with a smile (you could hear the smiling voice under the mask) and got set. The moment we set down our server came in and got our drink order and got it to our table within a minute. The menu currently is a one page (due to Covid) but still has a lot of variety. I got the fish and chips - I replaced the chips with onion rings (I recommend them with ranch on the side) the fish is Cod - it was great :) the person with me got the breakfast omelette with mushrooms and Swiss and said it was great :) the food came to table within 10 min fresh and hot. Our server was really nice and checked on us from time to time, she noticed our drinks were getting low and refilled them without asking. If you are a person that gets cold quickly I suggest bring something to cover up as the AC is a little strong in there. The portions are big and the price is good. If you are looking for something casual and not over it at the buffet I recommend this spot if you are here. read more

What a great find in the Linq promenade. I had the chicken Caesar salad. Chicken was very good, dressing was fabulous. My husband had the french dip, it looked very good. He said it was very appetizing. The fries were "ok" some were soggy and I love fries on the crispier side. Service was impeccable. Love the ambiance of the restaurant as well. After he took our order we never saw him again. The coffee is crap. They have no flavored creamer. The toaster broke so we were unable to have the toast that came with our meal. We had lunch upon our arrival at the hotel and we were seated promptly. Our food tasted pretty good. Our friend ordered the soup of the day which didn't come out with our order so we tracked down the first waitress we saw and she mentioned that our initial waitor went on break and "didn't tell her that the soup was ordered". (Her words) Shouldn't it be listed on the order ticket? I think it would have been nice for our first waitor to let us know he would be going on break and introduce the waitor who would be helping us. Breakfast the next morning was okay as well. This Cafe is tucked in the back of the Aquarius casino. We dined there twice on a 3 night stay because the food was wonderful and pricing was terrific. The Cafe is huge as it used to be the buffet. It fronts the river with floor to ceiling windows. Hours are long. We were pleasantly surprised to have prime rib, potato, veggies, soup or salad, for $18. We would have paid far more at Outback steakhouse which is next door. Place was not crowded. It was socially distanced. Able to seat large parties as a group. We returned for a wonderful pot roast at $14 and spaghetti and meatballs at $10. Spaghetti was far better than what we had the night before for $21 next door at River Rock Pizza and Pasta. Also able to get a discount using our gambling points. Service from Armando was great for both outings. read more
