Our biggroup pulled up to the Prime Rib Room inside Don Laughlin's Riverside Casino feeling fancy and it honestly delivered!! For $27.99/ person, you pick your main entree: prime rib, salmon, or chicken, then proceed to absolutely commit to a buffet style unlimited sides and desserts (bonus points for a solid lineup of sugar-free sweets). The Prime rib and salmon were delish!! Everyone in our party was satisfied. *Important: you will NEED to make a reservation, esp if you have a big group like we did. Pro tip: toss in an extra $2/person and boom, you've got a movie ticket for a brand-new release!! Dinner and a movie, for sure an amazing deal!! Also, major shoutout to our servers Mary G, Brady W, and Matthew M. They handled our big group like pros... drinks magically refilled, plates disappearing on cue, and coffee arriving right when dessert started to set in. Solid food, solid service, and a solid excuse to hop on over into a movie theater after. Definitely a great evening!!

This is a 'cheap' prime rib restaurant and I am referring to the actual food quality. The prime rib is acceptable but mediocre at best (bit bland and slightly chewy). The place is quite old. The view is nice. Staff is friendly and competent. That being said... The cordon bleu was disgusting. Had to be returned and exchange for a prime rib. The waitress openly said that most patrons return it... weird. Salad bar choices are very limited and again...cheap. Deserts are industrial. Not worth $28++

We went to the Riverside Prime Rib Room right at 4pm when it opened. Had reservations (which I highly recommend) and were seated right away by the windows -- the view of the river was beautiful and really set the tone for a nice evening. The staff was great -- super friendly and welcoming. Our server Mary was wonderful, felt like we'd known her for years by the end of the night. You start with the salad bar, which was really fresh and had some great options -- I especially loved the beet salad, which was a nice surprise! When you're ready for your main, the carver comes right over to your table and slices your meat. I got the prime rib medium with mushrooms -- SO tender I could cut it with my fork. The crust was seasoned perfectly -- lots of flavor without overpowering the meat. I went back for sides and loaded up: baked potato with sour cream and bacon (loved it!), mashed potatoes, veggies, and creamed spinach. Veggies were just okay, and the creamed spinach was a bit too rich for my taste, but the baked potato was spot on. Dessert is self-serve too -- I had the caramel pecan cheesecake which was so creamy and delicious. Didn't love the blueberry pie with ice cream, but the cheesecake made up for it. Overall, we had a great experience -- relaxed vibe, amazing prime rib, and can't say enough about the staff. Definitely planning to go back!

Prime rib fatty and chewy. Meh I've had better

Price Rib here is so overrated. My piece was medium rare but seemed undercooked and chewy. The steak knife to trim the fat was also dull. The sides buffet of creamed spinach, glazed carrots, potato wedges, mashed potatoes and salad bar were good. Seafood salad was meh. Hot bacon dressing was good. Service was spotty. Server forgot ketchup. Diet Pepsi had a weird taste. Cream puff was OK and soft serve vanilla icecream. So overrated and inconsistent. I'd go elsewhere.

I'm not sure why anyone goes to this place. $37 per person. The entire experience was awkward from start to finish. It's half buffet, half table delivery. It's confusing, and quite honestly not enjoyable. The hostess desk was two obviously angry women one of whom was screeching peoples names. Then we are seated as a table, my silverware was obviously used, and had to be replaced. Then they explain that you have to go get your salad from the buffet. fine. It wasn't the freshest. Then you get another plate for your potato which you also go get from the buffet , which means when your meat comes you have two plates, no room to eat because the tables are tiny. The potatoes aren't sliced open so you are up at the buffet stacking the stuff to go on your potato onto your plate. My husband was trying to hold the plate with his sides so he could eat his prime rib. Our drink order was messed up twice. The food was just ok. I'm pretty sure my cordon Bleu was frozen from Sam's Club. The restaurant itself has confusing decor. It looks like they replaced the table tops and left all the old upholstery. The only good thing was the view. the Riverside still has its original nicotine stained ceiling tiles(never painted). You have to walk a block to get to the nearest rest room Which doesn't make sense because they have three restaurants in the same hall. Overall it's a pass.

    Huge piece of prime rib!

Loved, loved this so much. Make sure you have reservations and be a little early because the line can be long. The views are amazing for most all of the tables in this room. After being seated you are free to head to the salad bar and fill your plate with salads. It was nice and there were more than enough options for a prime rib dinner. After you finish your salad it's time to head back and select your choice of potatoes. There are mashed potatoes, baked potato and even other choices. Now it's back to your table again. It's time for the Prime Rib rack to be wheeled to your table. The serving size of the meat is not skimpy. You are given a good size piece. The 4 of us all agreed it was probably one of best pieces of prime rib we had ever had. Servers were excellent and everything was delicious. We certainly will be back.

A couple pie options, plus cheesecake, cake, and ice cream

Reservations are required. The dress code is relaxed and children are welcome. Alcohol free beverages are included and Pepsi only products served. Prime rib, Chicken Cordon Blue, or fish of the day for $27.99. Excellent salad bar (all you can eat); a variety of potato options, too. The dessert bar (all you can eat) offers a variety of baked goods and includes vanilla soft serve (served on styrofoam plates). The wine is $6.50-$7.50 a glass and with only cocktail waitress for the restaurant you'll see just one time . The prime rib was cooked perfectly and cut at your table. The server for the prime rib was the messiest- dropped the knife and we were splattered with juice, one slice hit the floor and a spoonful of juice hit the table. Skip the mushrooms they are cold and canned. You aren't given the option of having the juice on the side. Our prime rib was swimming in the salty canned flavored juice. Ask for the juice to be on the side. It's not a relaxing romantic experience. Will we go again? Maybe, now we know a little more; the salad bar was 10/10, meat 5/10 (only because of how it was served), dessert 8/10, service 5/10, atmosphere 5/10.

Phenomenal. There are things that I would suggest for improvement but are minor. The salad bar does need some updating as selection is limited. However, no one really is here for salad. Adding soups as options besides the salad would be good as not everyone wants salad but might prefer a cup of soup. Making sure the salad is fresh as some leaves showed it wasn't that fresh. Maybe adding macaroni and cheese as one of the hot sides would be great. Otherwise, the prime rib is to die for as well as the view and the service. Everything was quite delicious and I recommend this place wholeheartedly.

The only problem we encountered was that a window table was not ready for us until thirty minutes after the time of our reservation. But the river view was worth the wait! We began with a complimentary Bread Basket that included excellent lavosh, and a Shrimp Cocktail Supreme sporting five shrimps. This time the crustations were meaty and flavorful dipped in a two-tone sauce. We requested and received extra lavosh with no resistance. Next up for me was a good French Onion Soup Au Gratin with a large crouton laden with a mix of Parmesan and Swiss Cheeses. Then I tried the Steak Diane Soup that came with Diane's order. It was the best version of this soup that I have sampled to date. Tender chunks of beef dissolved in the mouth carried along by a sea of broth that tasted like Mushroom Gravy. A complex dinner salad followed, with Mixed Greens (no Iceberg Lettuce at all), Grape Tomatoes, Artichoke Hearts, Bleu Cheese Dressing and Bleu Cheese Crumbles. It was here over 25 years ago that I first tasted wonderful Bleu Cheese Crumbles in the same type of salad. After cleansing our palates with Lemon Sorbet, for mains I had lean Veal Piccata with Capers and Spaghetti slathered with a delectable Lemon Cream Sauce, while Diane enjoyed her usual order of Coquilles Saint Jacques. This time the included Scallops were very small but the Shrimps were very big, and portions were generous. For dessert we splurged on two orders of delicious Bananas Foster prepared tableside, and I had a Decaf Coffee. Richard, our server, did a wonderful job of flambeeing this treat, that by this time was accompanied by a few bursting fireworks that were visible to us just across the Colorado River from our perches above. The elegant ambiance of the restaurant this evening could not have been better. We left in time to observe most of the Rockets Over the River fireworks show from our parked car on a hilltop overlooking the Laughlin Strip well above Casino Drive. It was a magical night!

Our waiter, Charles, deserves 6 stars for his service alone! He was insanely knowledgeable, funny, and didn't shy away from our alcohol induced antics. He even asked the chef if I could sub an item (chef said nope but I appreciated his effort). The wine is a bit overpriced for what it is, I sent the image of their bottle list to someone more familiar than myself and they confirmed that the price is less at a high end restaurant near LA. The appetizers were delicious. Overall, the food was good but I found the appetizer better than the main course. Everyone else had giant portions of food and mine was just a few bites. For the price, the main course left me feeling a bit disappointed. The dessert was good, drinks were good, and the view was absolutely the best part.

Then we noted that the restaurant was within 30 minutes of closing. So, we quickly diverted to El Charro in Bullhead City, only to learn that it, too, was about to close. So, I turned around and headed here, even though OpenTable reported that no time slots were available. I dropped Diane off before parking, and she easily scored a table here. In fact, hardly anyone was seated inside the restaurant, and it did not seem like a festive Mexican holiday at all. The Tuesday Night Menu was very limited, but I selected very tasty and smooth Stone Guacamole not prepared tableside but including tomatoes, White Onion, and jalapenos, to go with house-prepared salsa and spiced up Tortilla Chips. By request Diane received a complimentary basket of non-spicy Tortilla Chips, as well as a Kids Cheese Quesadilla. Somehow this filled her up. I, on the other hand, ordered a Southwest Beef Burrito with added beans inside, and Roja Sauce and Queso on top. The burro was large, but I finished it, along with more beans, and included rice. Everything tasted good and washed down well with Diet Pepsi. Service by Brett was very good, and at least the decor of the restaurant had the festive feel of Old Mexico, in this instance without the camaraderie of fellow celebrants.

The first night we got there, we went to one Sushi place called "The Sushi Spot" that was just awful. On our last night, we decided to look for another Sushi place, and we thought this place looked more decent and came here. We wanted just a booth and not the food show, and we got a booth. I noticed the music was very loud, I have never seen Sushi place have the music this loud and playing the 80's music. I couldn't even hear the waiter. Their menu also looked so weird and so much stuff that looked the same. The waiter was a young, maybe Hispanic guy. He was kind of rude and talked really fast. I asked the same question and so did my friend what was the deal with the Sushi and Sashimi 3 piece was? He told us two different versions of what it was, and neither made sense. I asked about the Bento box, something I have ordered at many other Sushi places in LA. I asked how the beef was done, he said is shaved beef. I have never even heard of shaved beef in a Sushi place?. I told him all the Bento box beef was BBQ and grilled, and he said not this one. My friend ordered the Bento box with salmon, and his was semi-decent but the fish was very oily, deep-fried in hot oil. I waited and then ordered the Mahi Mahi, but I didn't understand what it comes with, he said that one is grilled. The food took a while to get there and when it came, it was really awful. The fish was so tiny, the sides were steamed rice and regular pasta and some vegetables that looked came out of a can. I ate the fish, some of the rice, but the pasta was disgusting, and I pushed my dish to the side to be removed. This was the second Sushi place we went to in Bullhead City and it was very disappointing. There is nothing worse than bad food served by a rude, arrogant waiter, and I rarely write food reviews, but avoid this place, this is not a real Sushi place. You want to eat great food, then go to a place called SaltGrass inside the Golden Nugget, the best food and atmosphere with a great view of the Colorado river. That was the best place we ate in Bullhead City.
