Build your own breakfast
Jakob B.

Friday morning off and felt like breakfast food. Stopped to get gas at the Maverik across the street, and lo and behold our eyes looked up to see the Coyote Cafe (the second Coyote Cafe that is, II). Typical breakfast diner vibes, little signs and Knick knacks that would be hanging in grandma's house. Seems like a local favorite, with most of the booths filled. We went with the ham steak breakfast, build your own breakfast with the waffle, and an extra side of biscuits and gravy. All in all very good, ham steak was a standout for me. Good service, hot coffee, well made breakfast food, all decently priced. Can't go wrong.

10/10 the pancakes changed my life -- i never could have expected a random breakfast joint in bullhead city serving pancakes the size of a dinner plate the omelette was whatever, biscuit and gravy a solid 8/10, but those pancakes.....

One egg omelet and hash browns $10.99 plus $1.00 per egg surcharge.

Greeted and seated when we walked in at 11:20 am on a Sunday. $1.00 surcharge on each egg; making a profit on egg prices, unnecessary to be $1.00 each. Anyway, senior menu page; one egg 3 veggie omelet with Texas toast and nice portion of hash browns $10.99 plus $1.00 egg surcharge. It was flavorful, served hot and delicious. Bathrooms needed cleaned. It was crowded but not overly noisy.

Was on vacation and in the area and decided to check out coyote café. We noticed the outside was a bit busy so we figured the food must be good. We went in and they are in the middle of remodeling is what I assume and it was pretty busy. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated and that door kept opening nonstop with more people coming and going our waitress was so sweet and beyond so helpful we went ahead and place our order and then our food order. We waited about 15 min for our food The food was pretty good Presentation was nice, cafe style food nothing to over the top Strawberry pancakes were good strawberry was very fresh... only complaint was the hash browns not fully cooked through Service was pretty fast and we had a good experience

Rye toast butter on the side with strawberry jelly yes...

Best omelette it was veggie omelette with a little bit of cheese on top and the toast was just delish and the service was absolutely outstanding. The place is clean and they have great coffee.

Service was top notch in the beginning. Salad was very fresh. Dressing very good. Cheeseburger looked good but....it's not real meat. It's a soy burger and my last bite had tons of bone. Thought I broke a tooth. But wait, there's more. Had to use restroom before leaving and I am a widow so I dine alone. Came back to my table and my ticket and tea had been cleared. They were nice enough to give me tea to go but that didn't sit well with me. First time eating here and will be the last. That burger made me violently ill immediately.

Great price for the portion of food I got!!!

Chili, cheese & onion omelet

Another 5 star breakfast compliments of Coyote cafe! We first came here 5 years ago and swore that we'd come back next time we passed this way...and here we are - and glad we came back. This is a great little breakfast diner! (Pretty sure the lunch is great too) I am on a low carb diet and got the chili, cheese & onion omelet ($13.99) and it was great! Lots of cheese (which I love!) and the raw onions added a nice little bite to the simple brilliance of this breakfast. (FYI the chili isn't homemade but it's still really good) I got a side of home fries, cottage cheese & it was as expected with a tomato on top. Girlfriend got the build your own breakfast with strawberry waffles, eggs, & bacon. The show stopper was the waffles and we also loved the home fries. Thanks again for another great breakfast & we will be back next time we're back here!

Why raise the price of eggs?!? My husband and I used to have our early breakfast here and now it's too expensive. To Laughlin it is.

We ordered a breakfast dish of eggs, bacon, and hash browns. Also ordered the pot roast with a side salad and ranch. Comes with two sides.I got mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. All of the food was really good.A pot roast was fairly tasty. But the beef was not quite up to my standard. My husband's breakfast dish was really good. Service was great, and everything was definitely good enough to return. Can't wait to go back and we are really excited to try our pies

First time coming to this location 03/20/26 around 7:55-8:00 PM. Before I even opened the entrance…read moredoor, a young lady employee with her hair in a bun came rushing out, visibly upset, and slammed the door without apologizing. It wasn't a great first impression. She later came back inside, and I tried to catch her name, but she was moving quickly. I believe it started with a "B." She was such a negative vibe. As for the food: very disappointing. I ordered the fish and chips, and the fish was hard and overcooked. I love fish and chips, and honestly, this was the worst I've ever had. If you're someone who regularly eats this dish, you'll understand exactly what I mean. My husband ordered the prime rib, which was dry and lacked flavor. He was hungry, so he still ate it, but it definitely wasn't enjoyable. The cornbread was also dry. The only positive was our server. He was attentive and made sure we were taken care of slightly awkward, but still provided good service. The atmosphere was just okay, but there was a noticeable sewer-like smell, which made the experience even less pleasant. I've eaten at other Black Bear locations before with no issues, but this one was by far the worst. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this location and I won't be coming back!

Chuck Wagon did not disappoint! We were a party of 20 celebrating a March birthday. We called ahead…read moreand made dinner reservations. The tables were set and ready for us when we arrived. We were allowed to sit and order drinks while waiting for everyone to arrive. Our server, Chris, was amazing. He was very prompt with our drinks, very patient with all of us. Even a couple of latecomers. He answered all of our questions and requests with a smile and courtesy. The everyone remarked about the great service, plentiful servings and how good (tasteful) our food was. The food stars tonight were the taco salad, prime rib and teriyaki chicken. Perfectly prepared and yummy. Prices are very reasonable for the serving sizes. Give them a try, you will be glad you did.

After a long absence and driving carefully to avoid striking mostly black-clad Halloween…read moretrick-or-treaters on the roadway, Diane and I ventured here again on another Friday night soon after 7:30 p.m., this time for me to sample more Fish N Chips, and Diane some Fish N Shrimp with double Chips. Since I knew that the Fish N Chips offered here was no longer All You Can Eat, I opened with an add on: a refreshing Side Salad with Honey Mustard Dressing. It contained several small cubes of tomato, and helped to fill me up, as designed. Our entrees arrived soon afterward. Besides Coleslaw that had a good balance of creaminess and crunchiness, and nicely seasoned elongated French Fries, the battered fish on my plate consisted of three large batons of very heat-hot fish that tasted great dipped in provided Tartar Sauce after application of a little lemon juice and malt vinegar. One of my batons was a little undercooked; the other two were perfect. Diane liked her Fish N Chips as well, plus the Fried Shrimp, but wished that her shrimps had been battered rather than breaded. Our server, Chris G., did a great job of waiting on us, and quickly fulfilled our requests for ketchup, malt vinegar, and in Diane's case Coleslaw removed from her plate. Even though I was pretty full at meal's end, I knew that if we had gone to an AYCE place like Black Bear Diner across the Colorado River, I would have downed at least one more filet of fish. The Fish N Chips offering here was quite reasonably priced, so Diane and I discussed putting in another order to split, and decided to do so. Thus, I called our server over and tried to put in the order. Alas, I was told that no more fish remained--but not to worry about making a belated request, because the cook had informed him that no more fish remained right after receiving our initial order. So we couldn't have had more fish even if we had tried to add a third helping with our original order. Next time I will arrive earlier in the evening!
