The Human Bean - What an interesting name for a coffee shop... but hey it's catchy, lol!! We had to give it a try and it's absolutely awesome!! This location was just a drive thru, no inside seating area. We ordered a hot white mocha and a matcha smoothie. Both were delectable!! It was apparent that high quality coffee beans were used in their product because it had that perfect balance of bitter, sweet, slight acidity w a nutty flavor profile... so, so good!! The matcha also tasted like high quality matcha with its subtle grassy, mildly bitter, faintly sweet flavor and had a vibrant green color... it was amazing!! I would say their drinks were the reason for the 5 stars but honestly their service was top notch! Two people working and they were incredible. We were only in town for a few days and we made sure to stop by two out of the three days we were there. We had a mix of drinks and all were tasty. There are a lot of The Human Bean locations popping up in Bullhead City, but this location is by far my favorite. It's right across the river from Laughlin, and the employees are some of the most competent baristas around. This isn't a place for plain coffee, this is a nom-nom coffee drink type of place with tons of different flavors and options. Pro tip: check out their website or do a quick Google search for special drinks. They will make just about anything you desire, and they have a lot of sugar free / low carb options. I come here solely for the low carb granitas! Blended, smooth ice, espresso, and vanilla protein powder makes for the most refreshing summertime pick-me-up. It's expensive, but a terrific treat. Okay, I usually get whipped cream on top which isn't low carb, but who's telling on me? LOL. Download their free app to earn rewards towards free beverages. On our way to my daughters soccer tournament for the 2nd year in Bullhead. R and I had two tuscan sunsets, one iced one hot. It's their daily special. They come with 2 chocolate covered espresso beans!! For food we had the sausage egg and waffle sandwich and the spicy sausage breakfast sand-which on a jalapeño biscuit. The drinks were perfect!! Not to sweet but packed with flavor. My favorite were the beans, but I have a sweet tooth. The waffle sandwich was savory and sweet and a little more sweet with added syrup. It was satisfying but I did need the syrup. The biscuit was yummms!! If you like spicy, it had a good amount for a breakfast food. Will come back tomorrow!! I was driving back to Las Vegas, Nevada, from visiting my Dad in Boulder City when I recognized how much I was yawning. Knowing I had over an hour drive ahead of me - I needed to grab some caffeine. I happened to spot The Human Bean on the side of a main road I was taking back. I swung the car around to order at their convenient drive-through. I grabbed a 20 oz. oat milk chai; though I was impressed that they had macadamia nut milk as an alternative. I adored the cinnamon spicey flavor combined with creamy milk texture. And the caffeine boost helped the drive ahead immensely! My son had a kid's hot cocoa, which was thankfully made at a cooler temperature so he could enjoy almost immediately after devouring the whipped cream topping. He loved it, and downed it with plenty of leftover evidence showing on his face! On top of my drink, the baristas placed some cute little complimentary candied coffee beans. What a wonderful finishing touch! I love this spot and may make it a regular pitstop when driving down to visit with my father. read more

The menu has plenty of options for all including dairy free options and healthy protein styles that are lactose free as well. I couldn't have asked for better menu options and even better service!! We saw this our first day visiting Laughlin when we were searching for the Starbucks. We always want to try something different, but we were already full from everything. We decided to stop on our way back home to Vegas. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The service was quick. It's about the same price as Starbucks. We tried the frozen hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies. I love hot chocolate and this was something we've never tried before. It was AMAZING! So flavorful and smooth and they put a candied coffee bean on top. They have a great menu, coffee, smoothies, espresso, cookies, breakfast sandwiches etc. it's not huge, but it's nice for a small town feel and something besides our norm. Feeling pretty salty about bullhead having multiple The Human Bean locations, while we don't even have one in Surprise! With that being said, I was very happy with our visit on the way out from Bullhead. I got a snowy mocha and it was seriously delicious! Try the snowy mocha- you will not regret it!! Perfect sip on a cold day. My sister got the Java chip, her go to anywhere she goes, and she loved it. My fiancé got the caramel mocha & he was happy with his drink as well! I was also super excited to get 2 beans instead of one because they are SO GOOD. We definitely try to stop at least once when we're in Bullhead. Thanks for a great experience! Not a good day for the bean today. Took 20 minutes to order and get them get drinks with 2 cars ahead to of us. Ordered a strawberry banana smoothies. Nothing smooth about it. Runny and watered down. Ever since this coffee shop was built near the park, I've only gone to it 3 or 4 times. Last time was my birthday back in November but I went today to get what I always get and that's a salted caramel ice coffee with whipped cream. The employees who work here now are clearly stupid little girls who need to go to college to learn how to make coffee. What they gave me instead was a tall plastic cup filled with really nasty tea water that taste like it was from the bottom of the pot. So until they hire people that know how to take a simple fucking coffee order, I won't be coming back for a very long time. read more

We have just recently started going to Human Bean and look forward to the signature bean you get on every drink. We were leaving Laughlin and heading home back to Phoenix when we spotted this location. We bought drinks for our drive home and to my surprise our drinks did not come with the signature bean. I asked the barista if we were going to get a signature bean, her response we are out. How could they be out of there signature bean??? Their coffee is very weak. If you like Starbucks coffee you WILL NOT like this coffee. If you like watered down weak diner type coffee then I imagine this will fit the bill for you. I ordered two dark roasts for my wife and I and we both dumped it out and are headed to another place to get a cup of coffee that tastes like coffee. What a disappointment. read more
