Impressive variety of offerings for Sunday brunch buffet
    Kerri C.

There was a bit of a wait when I visited for Sunday morning brunch. Nothing excessive, however. I was truly impressed by the expansiveness of the buffet offerings. As you can see, I had no problem loading up my plate with an exciting variety of items. The standouts for me were the potatoes, the roasted tomatoes, and the corned beef hash. The fruit topping for my cottage cheese was also delightful. Although I didn't have any, the fresh honeycomb slab was a nice touch. A server came over to offer us coffee. Beyond that, we didn't need anything else. I would definitely return.

Waaaaaay expensive for hardly any food options. Not the best quality either. Seriously, we felt tricked after eating and getting the bill...... but we're not rich, so maybe this is normal

What a creative menu! We actually had the buffet, and it was fantastic! In addition to the buffet, they do offer an a la cart menu. Like I said, the buffett was fantastic. A few of the more Creative items were the egg white bites (They reminded me of the sous vide offered at Starbucks.). There were also a variety of chia seed puddings and oatmeal flan! There were, of course, the brunch standards like made to order fresh omlettes, waffles, and bennedicts (no French Toast). There was fresh coffee, juices, and as an extra treat SOREL!! Of course, lots of fresh fruit, dried cereals and an oatmeal & grits bar with add-ins. And just to put an exclamation point there was toast and bagels with customizable salmon and schmear! Definitely on my wish list to go back

This is on lower level and seemed to be open only for breakfast. That said, the buffet had some unique selections. Very nice egg white frittatas, great grits, an oatmeal flan, lox, and a selection of meats. This is a bit on the pricey side, but expected in a post-pandemic resort. The coffee was a bit weak. Be sure to ask for conventional discounts which may be sizable and apply to you.

Came in for a buffet breakfast this AM. Gotta get that bacon. Yum. Yum. The eggs this morning were warmer than they were when I came in last. I understand it's hard to keep all the food hot when it's buffet style, so I don't fault them too much. Bacon - delicious. Sausage - happy. Eggs with cheese & butter - yum! Service was fairly quick. A little louder today because there were more people but it was good overall.

Had the Christmas Brunch. The service is excellent. It is immaculate. There was an Asian bar including dumplings and sushi, a salad bar -make your own or specialty salads that were delicious. The was a seafood area cold shrimp, oysters, ceviche. A seafood dish like paella, carving stations with turkey-I didn't like the texture-and prime rib. Soups, or dishes. An omelet station. A pasta station. Pastries and an ice cream station. I am sure I forgot some things. Our servers were fantastic and friendly. Unlimited mimosas. We have been here a number of times over the years, some on different holidays. Christmas seems the best. It is pricey but a nice treat.

This is a lovely, albeit pricey, restaurant located on the lower lobby level of the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel. I came here for breakfast, by myself, planning on having just a sandwich and coffee. The waiter informed me, thankfully, that the price of a sandwich and coffee together would only be a dollar or so cheaper than the full breakfast buffet ($18.50) that included hot, cold, fruit, pastries, omelet bar, coffee(!) plus fresh squeezed OJ, etc. Well, what do you think I did? Yes, buffet, here I come. I tried to have a tiny bit of everything but failed miserably because there was a LOT of stuff on the bar. Never did make it to the omelet bar, it was very popular and busy. Everything I did try was delicious. (See picture.) (Not pictured, I did go back and grab a couple of tiny pastries. Also delish.) The coffee was amazing. Had multiple cups. Just the right temperature and half & half cream provided on the table. What really thrilled me was they had an OJ machine - a real one. I haven't seen anything like that since I was a kid. They put the oranges in the top bin, they rolled to the bottom, and when you put your glass under the spigot and pressed the button, the inside turned like a waterwheel and squeezed the oranges and it filtered right into your glass. Squee! So yes, it was a bit pricey, but I enjoyed every single bite and had a lovely time. The waiter was very pleasant and didn't rush me at all.

Food was decent. For whatever reason a lot of the meats seemed to be dry and over cooked. Waiters and waitresses were all very nice. Food could have been better, none of the food seemed to be hot enough and wasn't bursting in flavor.

Convienent location inside the Rosen Shingle Creek. $19.50 for lunch which is a fair value given the nature of the place. Great service but mandatory 18% tip. All the drinks cost money except for water. $2.75 for ice tea with unlimited refills. Orange juice is $5.50 per which is overpriced. Staff doesn't really mention the cost of refills by the way. Overall a fair value very tasty food be careful of the cost of drinks.

Horrible food. Look at my Benedict! Never asked for water. OJ glass sat empty. I wanted to send the food back but waitress never came. Spend your money somewhere else.

Tons of great options if you're looking to eat some fresh and healthy. I ordered the Wok bowl and although it sounded like my cup of tea, it didn't taste like it. The bowl itself looked delicious, and the rice and chicken were both actually warm to my surprise! The rice itself however was a little hard and the chicken was a bit bland. I wish I would've asked for the sauce on the side or maybe added some sauce to my chicken to give it more flavor as all my sauce ended up on the veggies and really didn't enhance absorb the peanut sauce (which was great). I will say this bowl was packed and honestly offered a good amount of food for the price (~$14 to 15) I would definitely give this place another chance because there were definitely other items that caught my eye. I invited a small group to lunch and celebrated birthdays with a meal for two friends....I bought lunch after signing up for the rewards program. I opted to take the requisite photo of my receipt and have the meal credited to my rewards account. The points were never added. There is no customer service phone number to call for assistance. And the phone number at the corporate office only leads to voicemails. So I sent an email. No reply. It's been 3.5 months. A few days ago I decided to call the store for two reasons (1). to see if they could lead me towards resolving this issue before make my next rewards-motivated purchase, and (2) to see if they would be able to pull together a last minute event for 23 people. When I called, I started by asking about the rewards program issue. A young lady announced that the manager had just left the store 20 minutes earlier. She said he could call me the next day when he returned--somewhere between 12 and 4 pm. I said okay and gave her my name and number. The next day at about 330, I had not heard from the manager Dennis So I called the store and a young man answersed the phone. He didn't identify himself, so I asked if he was Dennis. He asked me to hold on a minute, so I did. An older sounding man answers the phone, also not identifying himself. So I said "hi, are you Dennis?" He replied "if you are selling something, we don't want it". I responded "I'm not selling anything, I'm a customer. I'm trying to reach Dennis". The call was then disconnected. About an hour later I called back, hoping that the call had been inadvertently dropped. Again, the young fee-sounding man answered. I explained that I thought we had bbeen disconnected when I called earlier. He replied "please hold on a moment". I said "okay", feeling that the first call had indeed been disconnected. The call then resumed, with the older sounding gentleman answering "hello". I said "hi". The call was again discontinued and I heard silence. I cant imagine why a business would not want to speak with a person who identifies as a customer. I had a question to ask about their process and an order for food that they sell. While this was at one point my preferred spot for my vegetarian diet, I can honestly say that I would not recommend anyone go there, if their service continues at the level I experienced. Why would anyone call a business that repeatedly hangs up on customers trying to do business with them?

The shop has a cute atmosphere, and I love that they carry fun items like blind boxes and unique Asian ice creams. Unfortunately, my most recent experience with customer service was disappointing. My partner and I came in to purchase milk teas, and one of the drinks was not something we liked (had a chalky texture as the powder was not fully mixed, but did not tase like the flavor we had ordered)--we had only taken a small sip. When we asked about possibly exchanging it, the employee told us, "we don't really do exchanges." I understand that policies vary, but it felt frustrating to have already paid for a drink we wouldn't be able to consume and then be expected to buy another one (which we did). Many larger companies are willing to fix a product if a customer is unhappy, and I believe good customer service--especially from small businesses--can make a big difference. I'm not someone who usually complains or enjoys confrontation, but we ultimately didn't like the product and hoped there might be a solution. Because of this experience, I'm not sure if I'll return to this location, though I may try a different store in the future.

I went with the Volcano Bowl, which comes with white rice, crab meat, and tempura shrimp. The bowl itself was really satisfying and packed with flavor. My only small complaint is that I expected a bit more heat since it's labeled a Volcano bowl. A little spice would have taken it to the next level, but overall it was still very enjoyable. What really makes Quickly stand out is that it's much more than just a poke bowl spot. Their dessert selection is honestly one of the most unique I've seen. They carry novelty ice creams you definitely won't find in a typical grocery store. The one that caught my eye was the "fried chicken" ice cream, which is actually ice cream shaped like a crispy chicken drumstick. . Right next to it was a hamburger ice cream sandwich. If you're someone who loves trying fun or quirky desserts, this place is absolutely worth checking out. The shop itself has a nice setup and a modern feel, with plenty of snacks and treats available if you're browsing for something extra after your meal. The one downside during this visit was the service. There were two employees on staff one hanging out in the back while the other was working the front but never acknowledged customers walking in. After we ordered through the kiosk, the order was looked at and then the employee walked to the back to chat while we waited. It wasn't terrible, but it definitely wasn't the most attentive service. That said, we've been here before and the service was much better, so I'm willing to chalk this up as just an off visit. Even with the service hiccup, the food still came out fresh and tasty, just like we remembered. Between the solid poke bowls and the incredibly unique ice cream and Boba tea options, Quickly is definitely a spot worth stopping by if you're in the area. You'll find it in the Publix plaza next to NYPD Pizza on Universal Boulevard, across from Rosen Shingle Creek. Pros: * Tasty poke bowls * Super unique novelty ice creams * Fun snack selection * Many Boba selections Cons: * Service could be more attentive Tips * Save room for dessert--the novelty ice creams are worth checking out along with their multiple boba tea selections

Beyond that, the market itself offers several kinds of snacks, chips, soups, soft drinks, beer and wine, and also things like basic toiletries and some souvenirs. This is not a typical hotel snack shop with just a few grab and go sandwich options and a couple of beer or 6 oz wine selections. Rather, it's set up like a small full-service grocery store with made to order sandwich and food options and it features Seattle's Best coffee. For lunch I had the Italian hoagie which came with a bag of chips for $15 and it was so large I ate 1/2 of it, then used a fork and knife to enjoy the contents from the other 1/2 similar to an open-faced sandwich. Staff here were all friendly and outgoing and there was plenty of seating, or one could also take their food poolside.
